Well, LARPing gaining social acceptance anyway these days, right? We won't hold it against you, lol. (Although Vevmo is offering a hefty bounty for pictures!)
Okay, we were NEVER that bad. Ever. The LARPing I did was for VTM and it was during my emo years where I was "so gothic I **** bats". As for my days in Adria, the SCA is about legitimate reenactments and honing skills that have been lost through time (archery, swordsmanship, combat skills, even mead making). The kids in that video need to /wrists I mean, I'm all about some pen and paper campaigns (I prismatic spray *****es in the face!) but actually running around with foam weapons and screaming "lightning bolt!" isn't really my style. Besides, everyone knows that chain lightning is totally where it's at.
Besides, everyone knows that chain lightning is totally where it's at.
I'm not allowed to laugh at this or anything else you said. Else, they know my secrets, haha.
With there now being 3 Fresh Meat contestants eliminated I was wondering which of the 3 people found would most likely be invited back?
If I had to take a guess, the one with the best chance to be invited back would be Cara Maria. But Vinny has a good chance. I'd say Jeff is the least likely.
I personally don't like any of them as options but I feel like at least one of them will be invited back. My personal guess was Vinny but that he didn't really get an aftershow I found him more up in the air. I personally think that Jeff would probably do well coming back but he was more of a filler person.
Jeff disappointed me big time. Pete is a good one to bring back.
Yeah he was disapointing which led me to wonder why he was slower then Paula? Either way I think if he comes back he could do fairly good.
I'd like to see Vinny come back. Vinny vs. Dunbar would be interesting IMO.
pete is a gud 1 to bring back
Pete I think will be invited back as well but I was excluding him because the 3 I listed are finished and with Pete he can still change the viewing publics minds as he is still there.
If anyone saw, Jeff did bite it hard while running down the mountain. I know it was disappointing, but if anyone has done that, you know that more running is the last thing you want to do, let alone can do. So I think it could be any of the three or four eliminated to come back. We didn't really get to see enough of them.
Wonder what Jeff is up to.
According to his Facebook page, he is engaged and finishing up a degree at TCU.
Cara Maria these on Facebook, I figured it'd be cool to check out all of their stats. I don't recall if they were ever all shown on the 'Meet the Cast' episode or not. Jeff's page is MIA, she's not sure where it went off to. Luke had some of the best stats and got picked last. I guess they went with the bench presses on that one. I also don't see how Mandi got picked 4th with her stats. She should have been 6th at best.
Wonder what Jeff is up to.
Yeah Jeff is at TCU like molds said, also engaged. He's majoring something in business because I go to TCU and always see him in the business buildings.
Luke was last picked because his bench press was so bad. He can hold his own just fine but in a guy-girl pairing the guy needs to help the girl out a lot and with his lack of upper body strength he wouldn't be able to do that.

He picked Casey, when Diem and Linette had better stats, and then he picked Mandi even though Theresa and Sydney were better than her. What a *******.

There was no stat that measured long distance running.
The obstacle course did measure endurance though and Mandi failed to complete it because she didn't have enough endurance left to climb up a rope...
She has no upper body strength, that has nothing to do with being able to run long distance. But yea, she sucks. Better than Casey but still horrible.
On the fresh meat aftershow Wes had with Blair, it showed an unshown scene where Coral asked Wes why he picked Casey and he said "I saw a lose, lose, lose situation (between Casey, Diem, and Linette) so I picked the cutest one"

I mean it is important for the exile and final, but you need to be good at other things if you want to avoid exiles and get to the end. And she's not (good at other things). Such a superficial *******.

I don't see how you can downplay the importance of endurance when that is all the Final challenge and eliminations come down to. What good is winning a bunch of challenges when you don't have a shot of winning the Final anyway? Also, neither Theresa, Sydney, or Mandi were going to help him win a bunch of challenges, especially when Darrell & Kenny had the two best females on their team.
I'm saying don't overestimate the importance of endurance.
I'm not overestimating it at all. It is very clearly the most important quality on Fresh Meat challenges by far. It's probably the most important on challenges period. If his partner couldn't run long distance, that automatically destroys his chances of winning the challenge right there. Not only will you have no shot in the Final, but you would be worse off in the elimination rounds (exiles). Sydney said running long distance wasn't her thing, so picking her would pretty much kill any chance he had of winning the challenge. I don't know if he asked Theresa if she could run long distance or not, but apparently Mandi said she was a cross country runner so that's why he picked her.
I think Theresa was actually much better in competition then she was on paper. She was a sleeper to me.
Relax people, he choose her because the only two good girls were already taken the rest are all basically the same. I cant remember what pick he had and what pick Landon had but basically no guy was going to win unless their girl was half descent, which the rest werent. I remember him and Kenny talking in one of the dailies and he said you cant tell the difference between Cidney, Sandy and Mandi and that the piece of paper meant nothing, and its true the only teams that won anything was Kenny, Landon and Jenn, the rest of the teams were all the same. As for FM1 there was only 3 girls left and I guess Diem and Linett's stats didnt show much of difference. Its not like he purposely choose her because she sucked and he secretly wanted to loose or that she was so cute that he wanted to hook up with her, like cmon he had a gf and besides he still made it to the end with her. W/e FM sucks, only people that stand a chance are the people with 1st pick (unless you're Darrel who sucks at puzzles or Danny who just sucks period). At least cast a bunch of Laurels/Evelyns not a bunch of useless blondes.

I'm about 11 years late to this thread lol but I just re-watched Fresh Meat 2 this weekend and it is so good! Kenny (his most likeable season, by far) picking apart Ev and Wes's alliance. Fun drama, hookups and fights in the house. Every team who made the final having to go into Exile. Paula and Mandi beating their male partners in it, Ev freaking out at Luke and TJ calling her a 4-year old. And then the most satisfying ending, of last pick Carley and Landon winning the final against freaking Laurel and Kenny who dominated the whole season, the good guy pulling through to the end. He 100% was the most deserving of that final after holding all the weight up their exile and pushing a delirious Carley (without ever being mean or berating to her), and then in the final casually slinging that huge 80 pound duffel that Laurel and Kenny had to keep taking turns with over his shoulder while also having Carley holding onto his shirt and being dragged up... and then putting his head on her butt and pushing her up that mountain... all without complaining or being rude to her. Truly a GOAT

Also so many fresh faces I wish we saw more of after this season like Pete and Noor

Highly recommend that people rewatch this season. It has aged so well and genuinely offers some of the best strategic moves the game has seen courtesty of Evelyn, Wes, and Kenny. Such great highs and lows for so many players--Landon and CJ aligning with Evelyn and Wes and finding out the hard way that those two were only ever looking out for themselves, Jillian being a target the entire season but being rewarded for her loyalty to Kenny as the majority alliance slowly fell apart, Jenn and Ryan impressively playing both sides. Even early boots like Sarah, Paula, Danny, and Katelynn have iconic moments and/or meltdowns worthy of stanning. Not to mention births of legends, all of whom were exactly themselves from the very beginning: Cara Maria, loved and hated from the start, Laurel, intense and dominant as ever, Theresa playing a snaky and messy game with her iconic burn votes <3 Bring back one-time legends Pete, Noor, Carley, Sandy, and Sydney too! Each an All Star in his or her own right!

I wish the fresh meat had been better though. Apart from Laurel the rest just felt like an unnotable are you the one cast
