Is anyone watching this show?
It is really good!

I'm really loving this show! I haven't seen tonights episode yet, but the first one was great. At first I thought it was going to be really stupid, but they actually pulled it off!
It's interesting to say the least. I lost interest in American Idol a while back and this is definitely better. I really like this concept how they aren't just going based off looks because that's what Idol has been going for the past few years and there hasn't really been someone to wow the crowd, or at least in my opinion.

But really, how many "unattractive" people have they even had as options? The mom from NJ was probably the least attractive and most of that was because of her age and styling choices. If they really wanted to make it about "the voice" they should have included some Susan Boyle's. Granted the second episode hasn't aired for me yet so maybe they included more of that in tonight's episode.
I did find it entertaining though. I heard they are adding even more music industry people to work with the mentors once they have their teams picked? How many more judges/mentors does this show need?

I see what your saying. I was more referring to how they judges aren't letting someone through just based off looks like they did with Bikini girl on Idol. They aren't going to let anyone go on that's super unattractive or that they haven't put make up on. They were showing them put make up on people tonight, or at least I thought I caught a glimpse of them doing that.
Hah, you're right about the judges/mentors. I've always thought four was too many to begin with.

Yes, it is nice that there won't be any bikini girl type contestants because those are such a waste of time.

It is great that we don't have to deal with BS auditions.
I was hesitant to watch this show when it first premiered, what with AI airing already and The X Factor premiering in the fall, but I decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. It has such a fresh concept, and I like the fact that the coaches are also competing against each other. I can't wait for next week's episode for the battle rounds.
Oh, and Team Christina for the win!

I have to root for Adam's team. A student from my school is on his team, so I'm a little biased :D

I think the world is going to end since we agree, but I am going to have to go with Adam as well :D
This show's entertaining as hell, but someone needs to put security with Cee-Lo before some of those girls wind up pregnant. He's like a creepy little dirty Ewok when a young girl gets up to sing. I think that'll be the dynamic between Blake and Cee-Lo. Blake trying to save Cee-Lo's team from Cee-Lo. I dig the chemistry between Christina and Adam.
I think Adam's got a strong team.

I thought so too, but his last two picks weakened his team a bit, I think. Adam was so careful on who he chose that it came back to bite him in the butt when the show went into, "OK, Adam, we're alllllll waiting on YOU" mode.
The Voice has already been picked up for a 2nd season.
First look of the UKs upcoming season

The judges are Will.i.am, Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and Jessie J
Team Usher.
Team Usher has quite few gems
Jess Kellner is this indie and country fused pop singer
Ryan Innes is John Legend and John Mayer love child
Josian Hawley is like Maroon 5 mixed with Michael Buble
These three are the only ones I can see having real careers outside The Voice.
Team Adam,Blake and Shakira are basic at best
