Survivor: One World - Bum-Puzzled

If Colton isn't voted out soon, I'll probably end up jumping ship. That's not what I want to see when I watch Survivor. Honestly I'd rather watch Russell play 100 more times than see Colton make it near the end.
Jay and Monica are my two favorites by far. I really cannot believe what happened tonight happened. The thought that no one would step up and say "No, Let's not go to tribal" really makes me sad to be a man right now.
If Colton makes it to the end Survivor might have just 5 viewers on finale night lol
You know, I've been thinking about this because I'm really, really irked by Colton. He is not even a good villain. He's a terrible villain. ****, he's not even a villain. No, Colton does not deserve that title. Who are some of the best villains to play the game? Hantz. Fairplay. Hatch. Why were they villains? It wasn't because they treated their fellow tribemates like trash. They didn't automatically dismiss or refuse to speak to their fellow castaways. They made strategic moves to further themselves in the game which ended up screwing other players - hence them being known as villains. They flopped. They masterminded blindsides. Sure, they had their moments where they burned socks and faked their grandmothers deaths, but those were, to an extent, strategic moves. What has Colton done? He has singlehandedly set himself up to be the first one down the Torchsnuff Trail once his idol has been used. Hell, he might not even get a chance to use his idol. I'm hoping that the girls will get him out soon. You know who doesn't take crap from queens? Other girls. I am waiting for one of them to get him out, and hope it is sooner rather than later. So, in my opinion, Colton is not a villain. Colton is just a *****. Colton has absolutely no chance of winning this game. And it seems like Colton does not understand how this game works. **** COLTON YOU BUG THE ******* **** OUT OF ME.
I know a lot of you guys don't like Colton and think he's playing a terrible game, but the fact of the matter is, he's controlling everybody, which isn't a terrible game in my book. He's using fear to get into people's minds. Nobody wants to be on Colton's bad side cuz then he'll just target you, and only you, until you're out. He has an idol, which can be a scary thing for one tribal council, but you want to make sure that that one tribal council isn't your last. The guys only option is to blindside Colton, or keep him, which I would do since he would be an easy win at the end concerning his personality. And I feel he would also hold grudges against the girls for how they blew him off in the beginning. He just seems like an emotional dude and sometimes that's good to have around.

That is my major problem with Colton. He is playing this game very personally. That will not help him. It will only help whoever he is up against as I don't see anyone voting for Colton to win this game...and it's only episode 4. I can't disagree that Colton is controlling everyone. Unfortunately, it's ridiculously accurate, and I don't understand why, unless it's just because he has an idol and no one wants to be idoled out.

Others have been controlling in the past like Coach (last season) and Rob (Redemption Island), but at least they were somewhat pleasant to watch. Colton may be controlling now, but it's not the strategic kind at all. It's the wrong kind that won't get him too much further in my opinion.
Only reason people are going along with Colton is because they know he has the idol which to me is idiotic. This season is starting to make me miss redemption because I wish Bill got some kind of second chance and got to face off against Colton sometime and kick his a**

It gives him power to an extent, but after he told everyone at tribal that he had an idol that went out the window in my opinion. It makes no sense to let everyone know you have an idol because now they can turn against you without you knowing later down the line, which is what I hope happens. All of this could have been avoided had Colton tried and talked it out with Bill. On the other hand, I do not miss Redemption Island at all. As much as I wanted to like someone off the men's tribe, Bill is still stupid for agreeing to go to tribal in the first place. They said they'd go if everyone agreed to it, so all he had to do was say no. Stupid move on his part.

I didn't pay attention to that part, I was trying to refrain from tossing my TV threw the window lol.
Colton may have set back the fight against gay stereotyping by several decades. Uncomfortable....in the extreme!
Uncomfortable is an understatement. When he blurted out that he knew a black person and she was his housekeeper? Wow. Poor Bill. I commend the guy for controlling himself after listening to that garbage. I think Colton is going out if his way to be Russell times 26. What I don't understand is how everyone else in the tribe doesn't just get together, vote for him at Tribal, and flush his idol. If I was in the game I would willingly sacrifice myself in that scenario -- since the potential is one person out of the tribe may go home -- to see Colton go. He makes Russell look like a saint in comparison.

I don't blame him for that.
Tarzan, you're going to say, to his face, that Leif deserves to go home and then ask Leif what he wants to do? Are you expecting him to say "Yeah guys, let's go to tribal council!" HOW DO NONE OF THE GUYS SEE THIS? Vote. Out. Colton. Now is your chance. The guy is aching to go to tribal council.
Un-*******-believable. I was hysterically laughing with wide eyes. I had gone MAD over the guy's decision to give up immunity! Never, ever, everrrrr would I have imagined a tribe would do that! Probsty's face said it all! Wow wow wow!.
Colton may have set back the fight against gay stereotyping by several decades. Uncomfortable....in the extreme!
hahaha V1 - I was trying really hard to not say or think this, but I can't help but agree! I don't think I have ever absolutely loathed a reality personality this much. He is a disgusting human being. Man, he even tops my disdain for Laurel, and that's saying a lot. Colton is a spoiled brat who deserves to be slapped silly. Or punched out. And I forget who said it - but you're right - he doesn't deserve to be called a "Villain". Molds is right. They should've flushed the Idol out. But they really aren't smart enough! Idiots. You always have to flush the idol! He's going got walk straight to the merge with it. No question.
After this episode it dawned on me - Colton is the real life version of Cartman. Seriously - he is obnoxious, mean-spirited, ignorant, arrogant, in fact he displays all the traits Cartman is known for. And despite his openly horrible personality he controls everything...it's incredible.

I couldn't even get through tribal. When race came up and Colton just dug himself deeper and deeper it was too much. The guys are such *******es it's not even worth my time to watch them flounder around. You know it's bad when you do something that makes this group of women look like genius Survivor players. I just can't with this season anymore.
It is pretty bad. Open Post: Hosted By The Queen ***** Of Survivor
Before Survivor: One World (as many a Dlisted commenter calls it, "THIS **** IS STILL ON?!!!?") even started airing, Jeff Probst said that the main villain of this season would be the gay Republican from Alabama and he was not telling a lie. Colton started out in the game as the odd ho out. The lady tribe embraced him at first, but quickly shooed him away because they were sick of him buzzing around. Colton didn't want to bother with the dude tribe, because he felt they had nothing in common. *****'s days were numbered. But all that changed when the lady tribe gave him an immunity idol which unlocked an eye-rolling, lip-smacking, hand-waving **** beast in him. Colton formed an alliance with the average joes (aka all the dude who don't have a six-pack) of the men's tribe and has taken over the game. On last night's episode, the women's tribe lost the challenge and were all ready to vote off one of their own at tribal council. But in slithered Colton, who decided that he couldn't stand one more day of being around one of his enemies, Bill, and came up with a plan to get him out. Now, Bill hasn't really done anything to ******. Colton just doesn't like Bill, because he's "trash," is poor, loud, tells stupid jokes and doesn't have a real job. In the clip above (at the 1:45 mark), Bill tries to cool the air with Colton, but he threw a spoiled brat hissy fit that only Suri Cruise could love. After that, Colton convinced his followers to give their immunity to the women, so that they could go to tribal council and vote Bill out. I've watched all ten million episodes of Survivor, and that had to be the dumbest move I've ever seen. ****** has most of the men sucking on his *** lips for why, I don't know. Are they afraid his eye rolls are going to turn them to stone? Are they afraid his non-stop whining is going to turn them to dust? When they finally got to tribal council (clip below), ****** opened his mouth and out came ****-soaked pieces of bigoted trash. Even though it has nothing to do with the game, he went on and on about how Bill needs to get a real job and stop being poor. When Jeff asked Colton if he had any black friends, he said there's black people in his life, like his housekeeper. This mother****er is like the lost son of Hilly from The Help and The Bad Seed. What really got me, though, is that the other men didn't say anything. One of them even defended Colton. I kept waiting for a hand to fly across the screen to slap the smugness out of Colton, but it never happened. Are they that malnourished that they can't tell a ***** to **** off when he's acting like a total vile *******? I would've chewed the bark off of my torch for some protein to grab that trick by the hair and kick him into the ocean. Colton is a disgusting, trashy, self-entitled, prissy *** bigot and he'll probably make it to the end, because the producers know he makes for truly WTF television.
I think Andy Dehnart says it much better. Colton Cumbie and Survivor's most bigoted move ever + reality blurred
I'm still having trouble believing that a person like Colton exists. He's like a cartoon.
You know, I was just thinking that this is not the first time a tribe has given up immunity. Like most people, I try to forget most of what happened on Survivor: Fiji, but in episode four, the Moto tribe gave up immunity in order to keep their camp.
These are the seasons where I miss the Robs and Russells. I mean they would of never went for this little b******** ***
These are the seasons where I miss the Robs and Russells. And I personally can't wait for that.

This is where I would like to see someone like Evel **** from big brother on their just to make Colton miserable and cry all day.

Yeah, Fiji was pretty forgettable.
I love this season, especially now that the women are starting to get their ****** together somewhat and make this a good competition (the most recent challenge aside). I may be in the minority here, but I actually like Colton. He's NOT that bad of a person and certainly not nowhere near as detestable as Johnny Fairplay or Russell Hantz! Cut the guy some slack, he is good entertainment!

Apart from the grandma thing which didn't even happen until the final 7, JFP was actually a fairly likable character on Pearl Islands. I have yet to see or hear anything from Colton that makes me like him. Everything that comes out of his mouth is negative or talks about how in control he is. No thanks. You can't be good entertainment if you're trying way too hard to get the villain role that people actually detest you. I'm not going to cut anyone slack if they're consistently talking others down.
