So you're saying it's another Piggy situation then?
No, but apparently you are? If I said yes, that would suggest that I know exactly exactly what happened to cause Team Sydney to either be a part of the challenge or not at all, exactly why a replacement team was sent to Turkey, and exactly how many cue cards were needed for TJ to explain this mess to viewers if they show Sydney in Ep 1. But, actually, I'm factually clueless about the "Piggy" situation, so my "no' is out of complete ignorance of your premise. (I didn't want to offend you with a one-word "no" reply, so I rambled.)

Meaning I was asking (at the time) if you meant that the Sydney cast was actually flown to this location, but flown out and won't be considered as being "kicked off." But a later post showed that you didn't know either if this was the case.

Man this season is something else, I was gone for a month and was hoping that the spoiler thread would be complete when I came back, and no one is talking on social media at all, all info on this challenge seems like its 100% confidential lol. I was wondering why no one was on twitter. Wonder what happened to the Sydney team. Now I'm not that interested in the challenge I dont even know who half the people are. I dont like how they send home 4 people at once either, the eliminations should be interesting though, lots of team work, the FM team should be funny to watch.

Maybe a season is being targeted and sent home in sequential eliminations. No team has been sighted on twitter traveling together. returning to the US. Yet, there is some unverified evidence to the contrary. Personally, I'm keeping an open mind, although I really would prefer a battle of the seasons, team vs. team challenge.
Getting the "feeling" San Diego and Cancun are running the game... :)
Well V1Man seems to have implied with his last post that they were there but may or may not ever be shown as being on the show.
OMG, that would totally suck if they were there but are not on the actual show. That's just straight up weird to me. Blue, I totally agree though I'm glad they did the ban anyway. This time around I actually do not mind.
That is an excellent question, but it is not one that even MTV needs to answer for several months. They would have been foolish not to direct BMP to shoot two openings and decide later how to edit episode 1.
That is what I assumed but thought maybe I had missed something. Thanks.

Personally, I'm keeping an open mind, although I really would prefer a battle of the seasons, team vs. team challenge.
I've played with the idea that maybe it could be a situation like whichever pair loses one week, their season counterpart automatically has to go in the next week against the last place team among the remainder or something like that, but I've never really thought it all the way through to an end game or done the math to see if that would work. If a season lost two weeks in a row they would have to somehow have a mechanism to put two teams in again. It would seem a little meticulous for MTV to deal with though since they historically like to have the process be exactly the same every week throughout.
All signs point to this challenge being in teams of 4 based on season. But I'm wondering if they arent somehow in pairs or somehow leaving in pairs. I mean it has only been 3 weeks since Fresh Meat departed to the challenge. And if production was delayed for whatever happened there....out of 9 teams a possibility of 4 or 5 "seasons" could be sent home already, could be almost over in such a short time...dont challenges normally last 6 weeks?

If it isnt like that then great but it seems like a big coincidence if all of the Austin people are spotted at the same time and same with the Sydney people. Besides there are 8 or 9 teams and the show is usually 8-10ish episodes so time wise it does seem possible that a team is eliminated per episode.

If they were in pairs and it was Wes/Lacey and Danny/Melinda it wouldnt be surprising they went out. But since we dont know the format, maybe a team of pairs had to face off against another team of pairs...which makes a likely chance a whole season could be eliminated...which could have been the case with Sydney and Austin.

If 3 people from a season are spotted then an assumption about the 4th is reasonable but does not demonstrate that they went home as 4 or in pairs. I've given up looking for spoilers on the assumption Molds will harvest the info from her sources as the competition should be close to the end by now, That said, there has been potential evidence of single individuals from various seasons being home without me being able to find any evidence of others from that season being home, so it is a who knows at this point as to how they are being sent out. I think pairs or 4's are the only two realistic options right now though. Figuring out the format is more interesting than figuring out the elimination orders for me anyway.

But since its a team challenge I dont know why they would break them up at the end. Maybe they just targeted Austin cast 1st. It makes it hard to tell since no one is talking but people are seeing them but no one has seen Danny yet right? But we counted him out based on the sightings of his castmates.
You may be confusing the spoiler posting date with the date of the actual observations of people who have returned.
Ya I just noticed that Wes as spotted on the same day Dunbar was spotted, thats kinda strange since apparently Sydney might not have been on this challenge.
I'm gonna take a guess and say that teams of 4 are going to be eliminated every other episode. The way the rules are set up, two teams may be nominated for elimination by a "power team" then have a chance at some sort of "lifesaver" and then an elimination round takes place. If Sydney is not being counted that is 8 teams, say 3 teams make it to the finals, 5 teams are eliminated making 12 total episodes including a Reunion and S#!t they Should of Shown. Just speculation.
Its kinda hard to know if the cast spotting are true, lmao Johnny, Kenny and Evan RT some guy on twitter that posted a pic of some red head saying its Wes at some fast food place. And with the 1st pic I couldnt even tell if it was Wes or not but the 2nd pic didnt look like him not sure if the guy was joking or if he really thinks its him its also kinda weird to post stalker pics of random ppl on twitter lol.
Well it seems like Trey made it pretty far into the competition. I'm very curious about how the eliminations are going to work still.
I was just about to say it would be weird for half the St.Thomas cast to be gone for their premiere.
I was jusy about to say it would be weird for hakf the St.Thomas cast to be gone for their premier.
Yeah, even with this "twitter ban" MTV imposed it'll be interesting to see if they Tweet during episodes.
I'm sure Wes's big mouth got them sent into the elimination. I knew Austin wouldn't make it far. However, I'm in shock NOLA is still there.
I'm sure Wes's big mouth got them sent into the elimination. I knew Austin wouldn't make it far. However, I'm in shock NOLA is still there.
We don't know if New Orleans is still there or not.
Bummed Trey is out :/ . I was rooting for St. Thomas. I can't wait to see how everything plays out! If it's pairs, teams of 4. Now I suppose I'll root for Vegas, every other season has people who I don't want as a champion.

They are already are pushing to find enough good stuff to put into hour episodes and sometimes they get really boring leading up to an elimination. If they did that, it would get so boring very quickly. To me it sucks that Trey is out...I'm hoping the rest of St. Thomas isnt out, but at this point that is just wishful thinking (I think). But for some reason I knew that there is no way MTV would allow them to not be around for promotion of the premiere of St.Thomas.
Can we please get rid of Fresh Meat or San Diego next? Lol

Or they could do 4 go home until they are down to 3 teams and then they split into pairs with only one pair from each remaining season going on to the finals. That could buy you up to three extra episodes depending on how they did the face-offs (but probably they would all be in the same episode for a gain of 1). I'm about 70-30 on whether it is quads or pairs.
I have a feeling San Diego and Cancun is running the show. Zach is good friends with CJ and Frank is good friends Jaz and Derek. So they must have had a plan to stick together going in to this challenge.
I was just about to say it would be weird for half the St.Thomas cast to be gone for their premiere.
The "How MTV would do it" was previously addressed in this thread. Bottom line: If MTV wants them to tweet from the US or Turkey, they will.
