The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons - Discussion (Spoilers)

Another note : if they are playing as pairs its hard to imagine JD and Derek both still being there, no matter who their partners are. Unless they are apart of a dominating alliance.

They could be on teams that everyone else wants to take to the Final because they see them as weak players. They also could have gotten in much better shape than they were on Cutthroat.

Like I've been saying, everything I've heard indicates Cancun and San Diego are running this challenge. Despite the false spoiler, I wouldn't be "surprised" if this season symbolizes a big arrival on the "challenge scene" for Zach, and redemption for CJ after his surprisingly poor FM2 showing.

I really hope Zach and Sam are still there. Maybe I hope for the idea of Zach being a beast who puts fear into the JEK alliance. I want those three to watch the challenge and fear Zach. There have been lots of big guys who are horrible on the challenges and I'm hoping Zach won't be one of them. Plus Sam's so cool. I also hope they are in teams of 4 instead of pairs. Just seems more fun that way. Go Cancun and Vegas, as I always say.

[/QUOTE] I feel like people keep assuming that if they are being sent home in twos, then they are competing in pairs, but that is only one possibility. I mean on team challenges they work as a team but are sent home individually, so I can easily see them working as a foursome (as has been discussed, there has to be a reason for there being exactly 4 from each season), but being sent home in pairs. Still makes the most sense to me that the two bottoms teams would each nominate a male and a female from their team to go in, causing fun infighting among teams but not as much room for alliances. Another possibility is that they do compete in pairs of their choosing (given tht exes appear to not be going home together), but if the other half of the team wins, that whole foursome is safe from elimination even of the other pair places last. If a team only has two people left, they would have a disadvantage in this way, hence maybe why a few entire foursomes have been sent home in close proximity. Either way, I really don't think they were assigned pairs within their seasons because that would render the four per season thing useless, and it was clearly intentional casting in that regard.

Some of them already said on the podcasts they'd be watching him closely to see if he's going to be a beast they'd compete with on future challenges. And yeah, like they had no fear whatsoever of going up against CT. Why do you think Johnny suddenly decided to play nice with him on Exes after hating his guts? Didn't want to ruffle CTs feathers.

Look, I'm no fan of JEK or CT, but the idea that anyone is or should be scared of another person on a challenge is simply absurd. It's only a TV show. If someone is that insecure, he or she should stay home.

How many people do you think they will have for the final challenge?

If history be a guide, they should be changing to the finals location soon if not already. (Hopefully somewhere with more English-typing tweeters than Turkey)

Wow, Cancun and Brooklyn must be killing it....somehow. There must be a lot of water challenges and JD's getting his inner dolphin on.

No I wanted Nany to win! Boo. Well I'm in shock about Brooklyn still being there. I can see Marie and Robb doing awesome so I'm happy about that. Johnny Bananas said this challenge is way, way different so I'm excited to find out how eliminations and everything work.

Jonna and Jasmine (mainly Jasmine) have been on a little streak of making it pretty far before getting eliminated. I'm impressed and rooting for them. (I hope I didn't jinx anything)
