I'm actually okay with all three of these picks for the respective roles... And something about Tony Shaloub really bothers me. I'd much prefer Emerson... On the other hand, Melissa Leo can do no wrong.
Yeah Sam probably has the part from the way the blogs make it sound...blah... I am actually down with Tony Shalhoub playing Beetee...good pick if he gets it.

I mean, Josh Hutcherson is tiny so looking taller than him won't be too big of an issue, but I hope they give him lifts or something.

What is this? I'm still for Betty White. My complaint about Sam Claflin is to be expected...not as good looking as Josh. Or even close

Or even close
With a demanding schedule, it'd be much easier (and preferable) to have Melissa Leo made up to look to be in her 80s than to have someone actually in their 80s playing the part. She is legit.
My complaint about Sam Claflin is to be expected...not as good looking as Josh. Or even close
I just don't see how you can say that... Ugh, that kid is not what I imagined for the part at all. I'm a bit disappointed. He looks so baby faced. EDIT: Geez, they look a lot alike...
Ugh, that kid is not what I imagined for the part at all. I'm a bit disappointed. He looks so baby faced. EDIT: Geez, they look a lot alike...
A little bit of makeup goes a long way. And yeah, they kind of do, but I still think Sam is cuter than Josh.
I just don't see how you can say \
How can't I say it? He's flawless...
how can't i say it? hes flawless...
I just don't get everyone's obsession with him. I know I shouldn't say this, but it's like the entire thing with Robert Pattinson. They aren't that good looking but have huge fan bases.
how can't I say it? He's flawless...
He's 5'7. That's a huge flaw.
He's 5'7. That's a huge flaw.
Shorter than me is a + and I'm 5'9 and a half. FLAWLESS.

I'm with Fab...I really like all 3! Especially Melissa (love her). Great cast!
Shorter than me is a + and I'm 5'9 and a half. FLAWLESS.
Once again, I'm pretty sure you're in the minority on this one. I don't know of any woman who prefers a shorter man.
What in the mother eff were they thinking? I'm so disappointed. That guy has no screen presence. He's like a wimpy little dorky kid. Also, he's only 5'11.
Once again, I'm pretty sure you're in the minority on this one. I don't know of any woman who prefers a shorter man.
I'm not a woman...I'm ********. hahaa.
So any other leads for the cast?
Ok, so I have some information I believe to be correct. I know they are currently casting, but so far... Philip Seymour Hoffman - Plutarch Heavensbee Jena Malone - Johanna Mason Amanda Plummer - Wiress Also, I believe they will be filming The 75th Hunger Games on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, and other scenes in Atlanta, GA.
Also... The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 will be released on November 21, 2014 The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 will be released on November 20, 2015
Also... The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 will be released on November 21, 2014 The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 will be released on November 20, 2015
Dude I'll be hella old when Mockingjay 2 comes out. twenty-*******-one.
Dude I'll be hella old when Mockingjay 2 comes out. twenty-*******-one.
Now I just feel like you're intentionally trolling.
I was kind of picturing Selena Gomez as Johanna when reading Catching Fire but any good actress can pull it off...I wonder who they will cast as Mags
Now I just feel like you're intentionally trolling.
I didn't mean it literally. Yeah, I will be 21...but "old" is relative. I didn't mean it offensively or anything.
I am actually down with Tony Shalhoub playing Beetee...good pick if he gets it.
I with you on this one. Tony Shaloub was awesome as the father in 13 Ghosts but as Monk, like his show, he was rather boring
He's 5'7. That's a huge flaw.
Aww, but doesn't he look cute as Taylor Swift's little friend?
lol that's adorable! How tall is Taylor Swift?
