I will say though that if this **** stays like this, I never thought I'd see the day but I may have to bump up The Island from worst season to second worst season
I wouldn't go that far
Don't get me wrong, I like this season but I'm waiting for the day when the real vets put Frank in his place (: Oh, and Frank saying Rookie takeover. Of course it's going to be a rookie takeover, there are no real vets to stop them. He's way too cocky.
and Props to Dustin for wrestling Zach.
Yeah it's annoying seeing Frank be a ******, but I can't lie it's actually interesting seeing new people on these shows. For the past like 10 seasons everyone has hoped that the new people band together & knock off the vets, and now that it is actually done everyone is complaining.
Did anyone notice that Mckenzie sort of messed up the order by putting Knight against JD? Had JD won things would have been different.
I think Knight told her to because he thought it would be an easy win for him

That was the most surprising one for me. Zach (240?) probably had a good 40-60 pounds on Dustin (180-200?) and Dustin definitely held his own. Very impressive.
Can't they just keep them on their side for 4:30 and then slide them all over at the last second at varying distances?
Melinda just tweeted saying that's actually exactly what they did.

I think MTV sees Frank as a perfect villian, thinking he's a great love-to-hate character. They don't realize he's not an Omarosa, he's just hate-able and not fun to watch. He's bad TV and people will and have turn(ed) off their TVs to not watch him.

I'm right there with you. The challenge was stupid and wasnt fair. The elimination was also lame. I'm already tired of Frank and Zach and that is what every episode seems to be centered around. I'm over this season, I now know why it was promoted as heavely as Exes and Rivals.
I think Knight told her to because he thought it would be an easy win for him
That was a bit of a risk. I wonder what gave him that impression because clearly JD held his own.

For real. Does he even have fans?

JD is small, and Knight has a big ego.
Frank and Trey have a ton in common, they both cry every episode they are on. What's up with Trey, this All-American, supposedly athletic/tough guy, who cries over everything. My wife thinks he's faking it but it almost looks real.
So Trey's tears, in St Thomas and on Battle of the Seasons, real or fake?

Athletic/tough guys are allowed to have feelings too...
A lot of people apparently love what he does on Twitter with the stuff he re-posts...
I wonder why they like him... I don't see any appeal to him at all.
Athletic/tough guys are allowed to have feelings too...
Ya, but they don't cry over people not liking them on Battle of the Seasons...unless they are 4 years old.

Agreed. Obviously we haven't seen everything but he doesn't seem to be making much of an effort.
I think a problem I have with this isn't that there's lots of rookies, it's how the rookies (San Diego team) are gunning for St Thomas saying "they're the real rookies here, they need to go" when if this was any other challenge they would be on the bottom of the totem pole with them (consider they all have the same amount of past challenges together = 0)
To the complainers, you write the challenge off too soon! Every season has a lame mission! Still beats johnny/paula.
I agree completely.
People that are saying "I'm not watching this show ever again!" It's the second episode, give it more of a chance!
I agree with you but also at the same time, if there were more veterans on this challenge, but the same rookies, I do think St. Thomas would still be the lowest end of the totem pole. Their season literally hadn't even started airing yet. They just got done filming and probably hadn't met a single person on this challenge. Whereas, NOLA for example, it's their first challenge but they've had 3 years of being in the RW circle, so they'd probably have a better chance. If that makes sense?
That was the most surprising one for me. Zach (240?) probably had a good 40-60 pounds on Dustin (180-200?) and Dustin definitely held his own. Very impressive.
Height played a huge part. Zach isn't that much taller than Dustin, so I'm not surprised that Dustin was able to hold his own to some degree.
I think it's funny in Fresh Meat 2 people were complaining about too much Kenny, too much Wes, too much Paula and so on. Now that there's none of that (besides Wes), everyone hates it. Not to mention it seemed like when Molds posted the cast for this season it seemed like people nearly wet themselves with excitement for this cast. Not to mention the drama this season in the trailers. Just because one challenge was thrown doesn't set the standard to expect this season (I hope).
To the complainers, you write the challenge off too soon! Every season has a lame mission! Still beats Johnny/Paula.
I don't like Johnny running things but I do kind of prefer that over Frank running things JMO.
To the complainers, you write the challenge off too soon! Every season has a lame mission! Still beats Johnny/Paula.
I take back some of my comments/complaints because actually watching the episode again (now) it wasn't too bad; it was interesting seeing things unfold. Maybe I should watch without posting. BUT the general viewers are going to be turned off a little, I feel.
I'm not writing this off at all. This is just one episode.
Most people actually like Johnny as a person. It looks like there is a large amount of people who can't stand Frank. He is even dishing Sam on twitter and she doesn't like him anymore either. Johnny may have a big mouth but he went about how he played the game in a respectful way and he isn't as bad of a guy as he was years ago.
