and most muscular arms goes to Devyn. Where did those come from? Maybe this team was better than I thought, too bad they're the target of all the other teams.
Devyn has always had an athletic build, did anyone not watch Brooklyn? Out of all the girls, she was the one I always thought would be best at challenges.

I used to think Katelynn would be the best, not because of her being trans, but she was the only one that was open about having an extensive athletic background. I thought Devyn would be good too, and Baya as well. I actually thought Sarah would suck ***. Lol. All of my assumptions have been proven wrong.
How can I be the only one who loves Chet's commentary? His comments are hilarious and it's hard to choose between Fresh Meat and Brooklyn on this one.
I like Chet's commentary, too. I'm kind of surprised by how many people seem to dislike him. I didn't watch Brooklyn, so perhaps that's where it stems from, but he's always seemed like a likable guy to me. Devyn seems pretty awesome, too.
I really, really like Sarah. I don't understand the hate that some have for her. I know she can come across as cocky, but I think she's just confident and positive. I think it's more her telling herself (and her team/partner) that she can do it more than her being cocky and telling everyone else she can do it. She's a camp counselor type through and through. It's the whole - if you can see it/believe it, it will happen.
I'm tired of people ripping on Big Easy and Devyn. Athletic abilities aside, it's nice to see him get some attention on these things. I agree that it really is an odd pairing but it's cute to see them geniunely happy. I've dated someone Eric's size but im a lot tinier than Devyn, and I used to get it too. It's absolutely disgusting to hear people call him gross on these things because he's bigger. I really hope it works out for them. I can't believe that grown *** men and women (people on this forum too) are still ripping on peoples looks and sizes.
I highly doubt Devyn and Eric care about what viewers think of their relationship. If they're happy together that's all that matters.
Honestly, none of the "couples" this season really make sense to me but I don't actually know them...
I doubt they care too but regardless it's ridiculous to see anyone out of high school ridiculing people over sizes and looks. Saying he's a liability because of his size? Fine. Saying he's disgusting, gross, sweaty. Uncalled for.

I agree but unfortunately that's the world we live in. People will always be judged by their looks--especially when they subject themselves to reality TV.
Pretty sure everyone that has ever appeared on reality TV was bashed on some website based on their looks.
-
Yes but "vevmo" is supposed to be better than that. This isnt spark reality or televisiowithoutpity.
Couldn't agree any more!
I can't help but smile when I see Devyn and Big Easy on the screen together, it's cute!
And to Leafie, I never understood the hate for Chet. He seems the most level-headed there. He seems genuinely nice as well as hilarious. I've been saying that for a while though. lol
I agree w/you tjhallow! It made so mad when I saw other people from the cast and viewers ripping into the Eric/Devyn romance on twitter etc. Not everyone in life is a size 2. I actually think it's great that MTV is giving this relationship a significant amount of camera time because it sends positive messages about people with different body sizes, ethnicities, etc.
Also, did anyone listen to the latest Derrick podcast with Knight, Eric & Chet? Normally those podcasts can be painful to get through, but those 3 guys made for a great show - and Chet's commentary was particularly insightful.

I completely agree about the podcast. It was one of the better ones and made me love Chet so much more.
I'm not sure what he's done lately, but a lot of people thought the men of Real World Brooklyn (minus) Scott came off as ********** most of the time. I personally prefered the men over the women during the season but I love Devyn on this challenge. Sarah is okay too, this time around. I'm sure Kenny's absence has something to do with that. I love the Brooklyn cast and their season.
I remember during Brooklyn a lot people assumed their would be a Battle of the Sexes 3 happening sooner not only because of the separation between the men and the women on Brooklyn but also because of the drama on the challenges between the male and female competitors.
I did only really care for Scott of the Brooklyn men. I didn't always agree with how the girls handled things, and sometimes I thought the guys had a point, but I mostly thought the guys were very immature with their pranks and comments. However, I could see good sides of all of them and did not think they were bad people. I think Chet is a bit more likeable when he is without Ryan. I am really enjoying Devyn, Sarah is more tolerable again on this one (which I enjoy since she was my fave initially), and I like that the team is getting along. Isn't it funny how on Battle of the Seasons people who had issues with each other on their seasons end up working together well?
My dislike of the women was from all the *****ing they did on vevmo (mostly Katelynn). A lot of it was ridiculous. I'm glad they joined to give their point of view but it was too much. They blamed everything on editing and the men. Just own your ****.
I enjoyed Chet and Ryan because of how hilarious they were together, and yes I thought they were obnoxious toward the women especially on the dailies. But I still thought they were funny, and their friendship was my favorite real world friendship after Mike and Coral.
That being said, San Diego are sleeping on Brooklyn. Glad to see NOLA fall apart, they are a ****** team with Knight and Jemmeye being the most out of shape team members.
I love both Chet and Devyn. Seriously, the commentary between the two of them has me cracking up. I'm starting to like Sarah again, I can't really decide between the edit she got on Rivals as opposed to her edit this season. Whatever the case, Team Brooklyn all the way.
I totally disagree with Devyn and Sarah's comments exclaiming that they are roaches/foot fungus that won't go away. Perhaps to the "Alliance," but to me they're the dark horses! Much respect for team Brooklyn!

I believe that's what she meant. Three domes in a row now they've won, I believe. They're the Ty and Emily of this season lol

I agree with you, since the first time I watched him on The Ruins (which I saw before Brooklyn), I've always been a big fan of Chet contrarily to most members here. And Devyn was my favorite girl on Brooklyn. I never really disliked Sarah (she's a good, nice competitor), but I do find her cheery attitude very annoying lol. And JD, eh, I'm kind of indifferent.
I didn't think they had much of a chance, but if there's something I respect, it's good, resilient competitors, and that's what they are, so I'm definitely rooting for them.
