What I'm saying is that it is stupid for any girl to volunteer themselves when Zach is going against CJ.
And that is why CJ destroyed Zach in Hall Brawl 3 time in a row..
And that is why CJ destroyed Zach in Hall Brawl 3 time in a row..
If you took a poll of 100 people and asked them who they thought would win overall in Hall Brawl between CJ and Zach, I guarantee you a very large majority would pick Zach to win. That's why the rest of the cast was freaking out when CJ was winning, because nobody expected him to. It just goes to show that you can't always assume someone is going to dominate and that someone is "unbeatable", and I'll admit that I was guilty of this. I knew CJ lost to Zach before it was shown but I was surprised at how well CJ actually did, which is kind of idiotic because he's a very athletic guy and I still consider him the strongest guy on this challenge. Everybody already knows CJ should've won that elimination, a "tie-breaker" is exactly that, a TIE-breaker. CJ broke the tie when he beat Zach after the coin-toss, Zach shouldn't have been given the opportunity to win two rounds in a row, tie-breakers shouldn't be best 2 out of 3. Zach was stronger than CJ, but CJ used strategy to win and to me, I'd rather be strong and smart than have to rely solely on strength. CJ used defense (dragging Zach), he used speed (he beat Zach in a foot race to the bell) and he used strategy (by staying low). Then Zach found it in him to just straight over-power CJ, nothing he could've done. The only mistake CJ made was letting Zach jump over him untouched, had CJ reached up and jumped up and knocked Zach off-kilter CJ would've swept him. But my initial point: Nobody expected CJ to do well against Zach. Like Sarah said, they were expecting Zach to dominate whoever he went against and "break bones" of any guy in there.
All I can think about is Wes. Wes had a few choice words about CJ, lol this was a great elimination, CJ shoud be proud.
And that is why CJ destroyed Zach in Hall Brawl 3 time in a row..
Ahead of time--upsets do occur but the odds weren't in CJ's favor. CJ was impressive but that doesn't change the fact he was a heavy underdog.
I was impressed with how CJ did against Zach. I agree that it was BS how that tie breaker went down. CJ should've won that.
Who else wants CJ to come back? I just get good vibes from that guy. Chet had this thing about calling him phony and questioning his faith and I think Chet's wrong about him. There's nothing wrong with playing the game. I don't think CJ compromised himself at all. I don't hate Zach (annoyed with him at times), but I would have loved for CJ to have won that one. I wish when it came down to the tie braker, they only had to go once instead of 2 out of 3 again. CJ would have won that.

Mandi got screwed in Exes, and had CJ won, Sam would have been screwed too even though she won her round.

The only thing I can think of would be so that someone can't just forfeit the two rounds to go to a tie breaker immediately, which COULD be advantageous
I'll tell you one thing CJ also showed in his arena...that he has brains and can strategize. No wonder Cancun were doing so well. Zach is physically bigger than CJ but CJ figured out a way too outsmart him. He was thinking beyond just physical strength. He came up with tactics that would work for him.

I really have to give CJ credit for staying that long in this position against Zach. However, he used this strategy one too many time. In the second round of the tie-breaker Zach just jumped over him. That kinda killed him. But overall he showed great heart and d he will surely be calling back.

I can see him being the Next Landon.
*Raises Hand* I want CJ to be back on the challenge. I can see him being the Next Landon.
Wow--I don't see a Landon comparison at all. Landon's arguably the best competitor ever--CJ's not in the league but he could be a very good player. I could see CJ being on par with Abram--a guy that will make finals and probably win a final or two (if they do some team challenges again) but not someone that dominates challenges like Landon has.

Ok that is it I've had enough. Can someone point out ONE, just ONE instance prior to Wednesday's episode of CJ doing ANYTHING that proves he's so amazing at missions and stuff? So many people here have been hyping this guy up as one of the best and so great but outside of beating Zach, I haven't seen him do a **** thing between Fresh Meat II and this one.

First, CJ and Sydney did well on FM2 challenge four. On Seasons he: Led his team with two weak girls to a strong second place finish in ep. 3. Won the chariot race in episode 6. Led his weak team to a second place finish in episode 7. What they didn't show is that guys were running up the hill and then coming part way down to grab the logs that the girls were struggling with.

As far as his abilities, I was impressed with his performance against Zach and think he deserved the win. He also did well in the chariot challenge, Cancun won the first challenge(which required speed, arm strength, teamwork/communication and balance), and him and Jonna outlasted Zach and (was it Sam or Ashley, can't remember) in the Don't Weigh Me Down challenge. He hasn't done anything amazing, but I don't think anyone really has this challenge. But he hasn't been bad either. I'd say he is a good competitor (I know you never said he wasn't, just trying to point out some positives from missions). I will say his elimination round performance was pretty amazing though.

I think if he had someone think for him strategically he'd do fine.
Led his weak team to a second place finish in episode 7. What they didn't show is that guys were running up the hill and then coming part way down to grab the logs that the girls were struggling with.
Whoa--this is all untrue. Only one of the girls on that team was struggling. He wasn't allowed to grab a log that one of the girls was carrying up the hill. You made some valid points but this was bad.

Jonna also was just as great in the crate mission as CJ and held her own (especially for a girl as skinny as herself). I don't where people are getting this "CJ is carrying his team" logic. All have held their own in the missions (except for Jasmine in one of the more recent ones).
Anyone else feel for Jasmine? On Rivals she had to face a beast in Laurel in a physical elimination, on Exes she had to face Rachel in an elimination, and this time around had to face a girl much heavier than her in a physical elimination. She's really not had a fair shot with these eliminations.

You really think Jasmine could carry three logs up that hill? Go watch the first three minutes of Knight's Spreecast and he explains this.
Correction, I meant FM2 episode 5, not 4.
Those "weak girls" also won a mission and an elimination on Rivals without CJ even being on that season. :)
How come you didn't mention that the mission was just a long jump that other teams DQed on and the elimination was a puzzle? lololololol Ryan is awesome he beat Derek at sliders!!!!
CJ is decent and all but it's a BIT of a stretch to say that he carried his team when there hasn't been a sign of this team struggling with an exception of that last mission and they still pulled it together whether it was the guys pulling the weight or not, it was teamwork. This team did well because of their chemistry and heart - bottom-line. And a win is a win no matter how you put it, it's a game. Jonna and Jasmine aren't a Shavoun, Casey or Katelynn.

She has heart I'll give you that, but she was about to passed up climbing those mountains and got destroyed by Sam who's only 2 inches taller and 10-15 lbs heavier in hall brawl. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say she'll never win one of these challenges due to her small size. [strike]Derrick[/strike] Derek seems real weak, I doubt he can beat a medium-sized opponent like Brandon or Dan. However, I haven't really seen much form this kid, he's really weird though. Jonna....I don't really know what to say about her since she hasn't really shown she's good, or bad, at anything. CJ carried the team at the charriot race, the mountain challenge, and beat a guy 4 inches taller and 40+lbs heavier than him 3 times in Hall Brawl. Give this guy 2 more challenges and you'll see that he can be the next Brad. CJ is much better than average. Average is like Nehemiah, MJ, Ryan, or Dunbar,

It was still an elimination and they beat Sarah of all people. It was a good try to make them look weaker than they are. It could even be debated that they wouldn't done as well to set the tone for this challenge and won the first mission without girls like Jasmine and Jonna.
How come you didn't mention that the mission was just a long jump that other teams DQed on and the elimination was a puzzle? lololololol Ryan is awesome he beat Derek at sliders!!!!
1. Did the do the mission better than anyone else? 2. Does a puzzle not count as a win? They did win a mission and an elimination round. No one said they were elite competitors but they also never finished last in any of the girl elimination days either. They were solid throughout Rivals as two of the smaller girls and with no alliance. It isn't hard to give credit when it is due. Jasmine also did solid in her elimination during Exes. Yes, it was just jumping and ducking but when you're right around 5 feet it takes more effort and she did better than Tyrie & Aneesa. That's stop acting like they're Shauvon. Not sure why you're bringing up Ryan--he won a few eliminations in his day and a faceoff.

As I said before, she's consistently been put up against elite competitors and/or put in physical eliminations where it is almost impossible for her to win.
