Island was terrible, bunch of people sitting around rarely doing anything or competing and then towards the end about six players get eliminated without some sort of a fight before the final. The whole thing was trash. I'm here for Duel 3 or a school yard pick.
I like the school yard pick idea. But what if they did that for every challenge so the teams would be different every challenge. The winning team would decide the male and female matchups from the losing team. The 2 people who win in the elimination round would get to be the captains for the next challenge.

I get the feeling that they'll call it some Battle of the _____ to complete a trilogy.

It's not as bad as everyone made it seem
We haven't really had a true team challenge--partner challenges nor BOTS were what I consider team challenges I'd like Ruins II Duel 3 Then whatever but I never want to see another Island unless they drastically alter the rules
We haven't really had a true team challenge--partner challenges nor BOTS were what I consider team challenges
When you don't compete as an individual from the start of the competition, I consider it a team challenge.
When you don't compete as an individual from the start of the competition, I consider it a team challenge.
This is semantics A team challenge doesn't consist of pairs or groups of 4 IMO The Gauntlet, The Ruins, Cutthroat, The Inferno--those are team challenge The Duel is an Individual challenge Battle of the Exes, Seasons & Rivals weren't to me. Again, semantics
I know I shouldnt really do this, but you all should listen to the newest Derrick podcast, because there all Mark/Kenny and Derrick give the perfect opinions why BMP/MTV shouldnt to a team challenge, why not a partner challenge etc.
Did she state if she was done for good or just couldn't do the one she was asked about?
I thought I saw somewhere that she would still be interested if the timing was right. She also has kids now, but my gut tells me Beth may still have a challenge or two left in her.
I would love, love, love to see Elka and Genesis again! Both got screwed on their last challenge they did. I just re-watched the Gauntlet 1 & Battle of the Sexes 1on youtube last month and there are a lot of great cast members I'd love to see back, and Elka was one of the people at the top of my list. Anne from Northern Trail is another.
So glad someone agrees with me on Elka and Genesis. Elka/Trishelle for Rivals II, that'd be an interesting rivalry. I don't know who Genesis would have as a rival - maybe Montana? Although Montana is just as bad as Casey. Elka/Trishelle could very possibly win a challenge, or at the very least, make it to a final. Anne from Northern Trail would be very interesting to see as well. I'm shocked Northern Trail was as underrepresented as they have been; members from their season have always done well. As a matter of fact, every time they have been represented in a season, besides Anne's tenure in Battle of the Sexes (and she won the second challenge), Northern Trail has made it to a final. Funny thing, Syrus said in an interview that his dream BOTS team would have been Elka, Genesis, himself and Jason, because Sean "wasn't as athletic as he once was." That tells me that the other three are likely still in decent shape. Ideally, I'd love to see an old school vs new school challenge, with an old school team consisting of cast members from before Fresh Meat I/Real World Austin. That would bring good ratings I would imagine.
If BMP were smart they'd listen to Kenny, Mark & Derrick and give us a the final Duel already, let's complete the trilogy. Let's have Mark, Derrick, Kenny, Johnny, CT, Evan & Dunbar come face to face with Frank, Zach, Dustin, Leroy, Isaac & CJ. And if they do have a Duel have it more like Duel 1 rather than Duel 2. Duel 2 had too many "pair" challenges. Like in the final I'm sure Mark would have done better if it wasn't for Aneesa. We all just want to see CT vs Zach or Mark vs Zach or Kenny vs CJ in a physical elimination and have Johnny and Frank argue with each other for 5 hours straight. Let's make this happen MTV and hopefully save the entire fate of the Real World.

Haha but I see how you could forget that considering we've seen Dunbar five times and Isaac once.
I don't mind JayTee's idea but having Kenny and Evan I'm not sure if it's possible and I can do without Mark again. I'd keep Evan if he's allowed to be brought back (sorry, I don't know) and find two other fresh vets/rooks. Maybe even switch Johnny with Wes.
I agree with this. is there an elimination record breakdown? Are Aneesa & Derrick still king & queen of eliminations? & just wondering about Kayie & Jenns elimination record as well as Brad & Dunbar. Are team elimination rounds counted in those records & if so why? SORRY. Just wondering lol
I'm kind of getting sick of team challenges, I'd love a Duel. Although I get the feeling that a Gauntlet, rooks vs vets, will be next. I wouldn't mind another Island. It's not as bad as everyone made it seem
That was the most unwatchable season. The random team selection at the end, the random 5 extra people not competing in the final. the random 3 people competing in a mission & the out loud voting. If they wanted to copy Survivor they should have copied the entier concept. It was easily the downfall of the series. HOWEVER, The Ruins had SO much potential mainly for bringing back alot of the old "MTV mean/nice girls" Tonya, Veronica, Ibis, Katie & Susie. But after they all went home within the first 4 or 5 episodes the series turned into JEK w/ follower Derrick tagging along lol. BUT I say a Ruins 3 because that concept is genius with the same voting format & everything.
Perfect! Though your rules can be tweaked up a little.
I agree, I just threw it together haha. I need to think of a better way for how the elimination rounds will work. But thank you :)
Casey being 5-3 is the flaw in team challenge elimination rounds because shes lost all of her 1 on 1s. Whereas if you cut Wes' team elimination wins thats 8 wins off of his record. Counting 1 on 1s Aneesa & Derrick are the elimination king & queens. & Katie is so hit or miss with her record being pretty much even, but with her loses majority of the time it was a sudden death round like w/ Sarah in The Ruins & Jenn on Duel 2 & how she was like a minute behind Tina & Kenny on Fresh Meat. & If Team Elimination rounds count then why don't vote-off eliminations count? Would that *** too many losses to their records such as with Rachel R whose easily the strongest female competitor because of The Island & both Battle Of The Sexes? & just for semantics : Susie's perfect record was against Casey, Jenn, Kimberly & Brianna in horrible eliminators (minus KvsS) with horrible competitors. Landon beat Isaac, Dan & Karamo who were all pretty bad (Dan wasnt the worst though) the same could be said for Kina (who I love). I guess its perception though. & Sarah G. beat guys & girls, she's the overall best eliminator thus far. But as far as flawless records : Coral is still the ONLY person to NEVER be eliminated from a challenge that has participated in more than 3 challenges (sorry Laurel & Emily S)

Susie earned each of her wins. -Kina did luck out going against Cameron, Cara and Jillian imo. -Sarah G did beat guy and girls but most of her wins were with the same type of game that was hanging upside down on a bar, which is geared for smaller girls and isnt a physicaly 1 on 1 competition, back then eliminations were more luck than skill....just like riding a bull. I think she is completely overrated in the Challenge world. She would get killed by todays female competitors. -Coral may have never been eliminated, but she has been disqualified and quit. She is also another overrated competitor.
- Maybe we can find a way to distinguish partner and individual wins without getting too complicated but I just combined everything and made a 'win is a win' decision. - Individually Aneesa and Derrick of course are crowned the king and queen. But Wes (and others) like to think that his wins from Fresh Meat were all due to him. - Vote offs are just vote offs, they aren't eliminations. No one beat them to send them home and earn a win so therefore vote offs being counted would make everything flawed. Island and Battle of The Seasons/sexes shouldn't be counted. This is based off elimination-based challenges.
Sarah G will always be the Queen of the Gauntlet......in one challenge she went in five times by herself and came out alive and ended up winning that Challenge. Some of the eliminations they have now are just as tame as the old ones...(i.e. the slapping elimination in Cutthroat)....I would love to see her back again....I think she was a lot stronger then people think. Running wasn't her forte in the final mission of the Gauntlet, but she did well on most of the missions that season minus the rock climbing one.

Sarah was pretty awful on Road Rules. I don't think she would fair well at all on a challenge now.
I believe the closest she came to winning was on the Duel but she lost in the final Elimination to Svetlana who lost to Jodi in the Final Challenge. Back then, there were only 2 competitors in the Final Challenge. For the guys, Brad beat CT in Push Me because he tore the flag off and did not unhook the carabiner. That's when the bad blood started between Wes and CT. Then Brad lost to Wes, in his only Final win, in the Final Challenge.
& IDK if this could be considered a challenge fact but Rachel as we know has been considered the strongest girl (IMO) but I was watching her season & Irulan kicked her *** in a wrestling competition as well as Irulan giving Sarah a run for that last Gauntlet win. Irulan was a fierce competitor, unfortunately we only got one challenge from her. I always loved Arissa & wished she were more athletic like Irulan but just watch as Irulan beats her (@ 13:19) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZMonIkC_BY

Individual challenges is what she does best, it's hard to get rid of her.
On individual eliminations, she is 7-2 or 7-1? Very tough. Contrary to Wes who does much better in team or pairs competitions but still only has one Finals win. Kind of serves him right, I went back and watched all of the first Duel on MTV.com the other night. So much bad blood was started on that show.
Gauntlet 2 was Derrick's show, Fresh Meat was Wes's (which he still could not win), kind of like Gauntlet was Sarah's in that they both kept getting sent in. the Fresh Meat series is Wes's bag ...
I'm kind of getting sick of team challenges, I'd love a Duel. Although I get the feeling that a Gauntlet, rooks vs vets, will be next.
I'm tired of partner challenges. They haven't had a true team challenge in a while and I'm looking forward to that. I'm also eager to see another Duel - a Duel with 100% legit competitors - but I think we'll see at least one other challenge before we see a Duel. I just wish Evelyn was still participating. I'd love to see her on a Duel.
Ít's funny how every season has their stars. Like Gauntlet 2 was Derrick's show Fresh Meat and The Duel was Wes'. Inferno I would say Kenny The Gauntlet 3 just vets The Island definately Johnny&Evelyn The Duel 2 had Evan The Ruins whole JEKD thing Fresh Meat II Wes&Kenny CutThroat I would say Brad&Tyler&Laurel Rivals was CT even thought Johnny won I feel like he was kinda quietly on that one Exes CT&Diem and Johnny&Mark Botes I'm sorry didn't watch that **** season was horrible. Cant stad Zach&Frank probably it was their season, IDK

Susie was the star of the Inferno III Landon was arguably the star of FM2 along with Kenny & Wes I'd also say Landon was the star of the Duel II even though he didn't win Cutthroat really didn't have a star--that was very balanced. This season (I agree it was awful) had Dustin, Chet & Sarah as well as the annoyance that was Zach & Frank.
You mean Inferno 3 I think
Yes, my bad. kwm1977 you are right about Inferno III, Susie was one of the biggest stars in that one. Not sure about Landon, I always liked him as a person but never didn't really notice him on challenges. But yes, he was good tv on Duel 2 and FM2. I'm happy that Dustin, Chet and Sarah have been seen on botes.
Every season CT is on he's the star primarily the ones where he lasts long and especially Rivals and Exes otherwise there was nothing to tune in to. Wes has been the star or hot topic and target of both Fresh Meats.
