I'd rather have Casey on my team than Katelynn--JMO
Same here, if one already has to carry around dead-weight, it should weigh as little as possible, no?!;)
Same here, if one already has to carry around dead-weight, it should weigh as little as possible, no?!;)
LOL--true. I would always rather go to a final with a girl that "could be carried" if needed. Hence Casey, Cameran & Katie > Brooke, Shauvon & Katelynn
Is this the interesting fact thread? Or interesting opinion thread? 😜 Just saying since in the past 10-15 posts I have yet to see an interesting fact. All I have read is stuff about who everything thinks is weak and who they would want on their team. Lets move this to the Challenge Generic Thread please. Thank you, come again.
I'd rather have Casey on my team than Katelynn--JMO
I just threw up in my mouth at that suggestion. Even though Katelynn supposedly hates water and least she'll go in it unlike Casey whose so scared she wouldn't jump if water "broke" her fall. And why are the opening credits as of late so damn cheesy?
LOL--true. I would always rather go to a final with a girl that "could be carried" if needed. Hence Casey, Cameran & Katie > Brooke, Shauvon & Katelynn
None of those three are fat if that's what you are getting....
None of those three are fat if that's what you are getting....
Nope--none of them are fat or even close to it. But all three are "bigger" than the other three--I want the lightest girl possible if I had to carry her. I saw Casey & Katelynn on partner challenges (Katelynn twice) and I'd rather work with Casey.
How is Aneesa a great competitor, that never made sense to me. It was so apparent especially on the Duel II how she sucked at Challenges. The only two things that enabled her to win eliminations, in my opinion, are luck and strategy (meaning alligning herself with the right people, intimidating her opponents with her confidence and outweighing them). wutzrenzi put it best, "It's hard to get rid of her", doesn't mean she's good at all.
Aneesa is a strong physical player. she is basically unbeatable in any physical elimination however if you remember that duel 2 when she beat Tori ( one of the strongest girls) in that elevator elimination she showed her strength. And even in the first Duel when she beat out Robin in the ascender challenge
Coral I think never showed us what she was really capable of. She had a big mouth and was extremely good with manipulating her teams, but when it came down to it, she quit. I can't really consider a person strong if they are too scared of losing and therefore they won't even try. So who knows. To me, she's not so much a competitor as she is a strategist.
Have you not watched the shows? Shes always been able to use her mouth through out the game because of her strength. In BOTS2 She was by a land mile the strongest competitor (aside from Sophia) She had that one slip-up with the numbers but we all know shes horrible at puzzles. She was the strongest female on all of her Real World teams as well as the strongest female (next to Tonya & EV) on Fresh Meat. The Gauntlet 3 she was also one of the strongest females next to Ev & Paula. People forget that just because she talks a big game that doesnt necessarily mean that thats what gets her through the game entirely. However I would say compared to the new batch of girls she wouldnt rank that high.
I dont even think the answer to that question would matter to you since your opinions are completely biased. Sarah has made it to the end of a challenge by herself twice + with a team of 4, losing only 2 eliminations (1 of which was not her fault that her partner couldnt keep up physically, the other wasnt even a physical challenge) yet you still call her a below average female competitor. So does this make Evelyn, Laurel, Emily, Kelly Anne, Rachel R and Tonya all average?
Do we really think Susie is one of the strongest ? She has not done anything. If anybody uses their mouth throughout the game it would be Susie & NOT Coral. Susie barely made it through on the Gauntlet 2. Kina would've chosen Jillian & then Susie & we all know this. Jodi & Ibis were shoo-ins for that final. Inferno 3 Susie was dead afraid to go up against Tonya as was Cara. Susie knew that she couldn't beat any of the girls on the Bad *** team aside from MAYBE Aneesa & Jenn of course. She knew Janelle, Tonya & Ev would have killed her. & The Ruins, Susie used her alliance with Johnny, Kenny, Johanna, Ibis & Derrick to get to the end. They used Tonya, Evelyn, Veronica & Katie as their pawns to save the weaker girls on the other team for themselves. Susie is in no way shape or form a Rachel R, Laurel, Emily, Tonya, Sarah, Evelyn or Kelly Anne. Even Veronica & Coral are better than her. Arissa could probably beat her lol kidding
That is agreeable, but not necessarily because Susie is a weak competitor. Kina has honor, and she will not backstab her friend.
Inferno 3 Susie was dead afraid to go up against Tonya as was Cara. We all know Ev would cream almost any of the girls, but I think if any girls would have been able to give Ev a run for her money on I3, Susie would have been the best shot. Susie is one of the best women to ever compete on the Challenge. I don't know if I would say top 5 (it's possible), but she is definitely top 10. And honestly, who wants to go up against Tonya in an elimination either? Tonya is a fierce competitor. I'd be scared, too, even if you were as good of a competitor as Susie. Now, if you were Cara... I'd just pack my bags.
& The Ruins, Susie used her alliance with Johnny, Kenny, Johanna, Ibis & Derrick to get to the end. They used Tonya, Evelyn, Veronica & Katie as their pawns to save the weaker girls on the other team for themselves.
How true and how sad. They wanted Ev to take out KellyAnne... had she done that I really wonder how different the game would have been. They used Tonya to take out Diem who threw that Ruins, anyway. The whole Challengers team would have been exterminated minus Sarah. It was sad when they used Veronica to throw out KA, since she very obviously threw her Ruins even though she was winning. However, I think it's safe to say that Veronica was not in shape on The Ruins. Her performance was very much average, like BOTSexes2.
Susie is in no way shape or form a Rachel R, Laurel, Emily, Tonya, Sarah, Evelyn or Kelly Anne. Even Veronica & Coral are better than her. Arissa could probably beat her lol kidding
I disagree, except with the Arissa part, obviously. Haha! :)

She's not Evelyn, Rachel, Emily or Laurel. Susie could beat Tonya & Sarah in a few things--Susie may be able to beat KellyAnne in a few things. Susie just understands the game--you never put yourself in a position where you have to go in. When Susie has needed to go into an elimination round she has always stepped up. There's few very people undefeated in elimination rounds that have seen as many as Susie. Susie didn't believe she "couldn't beat" Tonya or Janelle (seriously?) but she didn't want to take the risk. Susie's an elite strategist and a solid competitor. That's why she's been one of the best throughout the challenges. To state she "hasn't done anything" is completely absurd. Also, Jenn & Kimberly are solid competitors--beating them has some meaning. She has more one on one wins as Rachel, Jodi, Evelyn & Laurel combined. I mean, let's give credit where it is due.
double post, my bad.

Sarah made it to the final on: The Ruins, where she beat Katie (who sucks) and Johanna (would ********* her Ruins with Sarah). A team challenge. Cutthroat, where she never went into a Gulag and pretty much got a free ride. Another team challenge. Battle of the Seasons, where I will give her credit for her performance throughout the entire time, despite it being the weakest cast in challenge history. So where in any of her challenges did she make it to the end by herself? She has only done team challenges. The only people in challenge history to make it to a final challenge BY THEMSELVES are Evan, Brad, Mark, Wes, Rachel, Aneesa, Brittini, Jodi, and Svetlana. Not trying to take anything away from Sarah, I mean she is definitely on of the best girls on the challenge anymore.
uh you are taking the big "team" challenges way too literal. They may be in a big team, but you can really only count on yourself to make it to the end of the game and not another teammate. She did make it to the end of The Ruins and Cutthroat by herself, she didnt have someone weighing her down, she got there on her own.
Naomi put up a good fight against that blonde broad though. The ONLY person I think Casey could beat is Cameran. She constantly gives up without even trying. She's pretty pathetic.
Not really....Mandi killed her. And I dont think Mandi is an amazing competitor, she is better than I originally thought, but she is just average. So yeah Naomi is terrible.

As far as Susie, i wouldnt downplay her scheming ability. she's a good competitor, shes just not the best. look I LOVE Ibis but Susie is better than her & Kina knew that but wouldnt pull a Derrick (Ruins) & backstab her & would obviously choose Susie over her & I'd say beat her. I want to see Susie go up against a fiery competitor like Kina or Aneesa who would give her a run. & did we forget she lost to Angel on RR:VR? lol she "threw it" but that doesnt equate to a perfect record. & sidebar we all forget how Veronica smoked Jodi on the inferno. I think theres a fine distinguish between great competitors & great eliminators. We have Jodi =great competitor but we havent seen much elimination wise same w/ Rachel & Laurel. & then theres competitors that do good in both fields such as Kina, Coral & Sarah. & then Aneesa aka the queen of eliminations. Susie doesnt fall under any of those. She's sub-par. Good but not the best.

Additionally, Jenn was in her worst physical shape on the Inferno 3. She has improved significantly since then while Susie has only gotten worse. I don't think Susie would beat a post Cutthroat or post Rivals Jenn. Jillian beat Janelle because of her speed. Susie does not possess Jillian's speed so she would have had a much tougher time against Janelle in that particular Gauntlet. It just so happened that Jillian got the Gauntlet that favored her. Susie probably isn't much faster than Janelle and she certainly isn't stronger so most match ups would favor Janelle. Janelle was actually a very strong competitor on the Bad *** team and her scores were consistently high on the team missions. I think Tonya would eat Susie alive in anything physical.
I'd add Katelyn in there too, perhaps?
Yeah I would add Katelynn, but I think Naomi's even weaker. She was supposed to be the feisty chick, and Mandi handled her rather easily. Leroy said on his ustream that her matches with Mandi were over pretty quick, and Mandi didn't have a hard time with her at all.
Now that you've all mentioned it, I'd like to see Janelle again for some reason. And although I3 wasn't that great to me, I still wish the episodes were up so I can see if I have a change of mind. They really need to get it together on the MTV website it's like the only challenge after G2 that isn't up.
Or better still... give us a way to buy the entire series all at once. I'd pay for it. Maybe after it's finally cancelled?
Or better still... give us a way to buy the entire series all at once. I'd pay for it. Maybe after it's finally cancelled?
I'd buy it! I'm a newer fan of the show and it's impossible to watch old seasons.
I'd buy it! I'm a newer fan of the show and it's impossible to watch old seasons.
If you go on youtube you can find the original battle of the seasons and i'm pretty sure every challenge after that is on it as well.
I've seen the original Seasons through Inferno 2 all on youtube. G2 and I3 are nowhere to be found.

Although if she did throw it that was a smart move based on what I recall the rules being. Susie is not "sub-par" by any definition--that's an absurd statement. Absolutely ridiculous.
& sidebar we all forget how Veronica smoked Jodi on the inferno.
Didn't Veronica do gymnastics or ballet or something growing up? I think she beat her more on the fact that Jodi got dizzy and tangled up, not because she was weaker. I would take Jodi over Veronica any day of the week (love Veronica though).

But I have to toss out there that I personally think Susie played a cowardly game on Inferno 3. A smart game, but cowardly. Or at least, that's how I remember perceiving it back when it aired. I feel like she was basically throwing girls (namely Rachel and Paula) under the bus so that she and Cara would stay in the game. Obviously it was good strategy, though. I may also just think this because I'm not much of a Susie fan, especially during that season since I'm Team Kina so Susie and Cara were basically my least favorite people ever back in the day. Good times.
I wouldn't take Jodi before Veronica. I may be in the minority here but Jodi cracks under pressure. Veronica may have been nervous and worried about going into the Ruins against Kellyanne but she definitely wasn't showing it that much. She stayed calm through the voting process and eventually got what she wanted when Ibis was thrown in instead. I never understood why Johnny, Evan, and Kenny chose to have an alliance with Ibis of all girls on their team. Yea she's sweet but she would have held them way back. Veronica was way better than Johanna and Ibis. Physically and strategically. It seemed the only reason they wanted Veronica gone was because of the same thing they wanted Coral gone for on Gauntlet 3 and Rachel gone on The Island. They didn't want the old school girls running the show. Sounds pretty pathetic if you ask me.
Johanna performed better than Veronica on The Ruins. Veronica is just a trouble maker and cancer on a team, I can see why they wanted her out.

I think people let their personal feelings toward certain competitors get in their way of their logical judgement and evaluation of that person as a competitor. Susie and Sarah are girls that have priced themselves but people still say they are "sub-par" or "below average"

I definitely understand why she's unlikable to many but you're able to give her credit for playing a strategic game and being a "good" competitor. For example, I never liked Kina but Kina was a very good competitor that knew how to play the game. I would have actually liked to have seen Kina & Susie work together because I think that could have been fun to watch.

Not a challenge, but still. I actually always wondered if they remained close after that season.
