where is Emily from roadrules 2? and the other holly?
I would make a few changes but its all right.
I also think coral and veronica (in her prime) can beat Susie when it especially comes to politics and social.
I think Susie plays a great game, she always get what she wants and you cannot be mad at that. She is sort of like Eli manning, you don't know how she pulls it out but she does.
Regarding Emily B and Holly (Maximum Velocity), the reason why I didn't include them was as follows.
Emily B was not the best competitor on her first challenge. Julie smoked her. On Battle of the Seasons and on Battle of the Sexes, she didn't win, and while she is a strong physical asset, her social game would be very much outsmarted by, ironically, the person she backstabbed twice: Veronica. Had Veronica not been DQ'ed on one of the missions (where she hung on by her ankle... was it Leaky River?) she would have likely taken Emily out. And Emily never came back after quitting due to James being voted off.
With Holly, she was the strongest girl on the Road Rules team on Battle of the Seasons, but she pissed off her whole team with the voting off of Veronica and Yes. She is a beast physically, yes, but then we could also make an argument for including Kelley, the strongest female on the Real World team of that same season. I feel that a performance on one challenge is not enough to merit inclusion on this list if that makes sense.
I'm glad though that you thought my list was for the most part accurate :) There definitely is room for some flip-flopping, but I definitely see why you could make a point for Holly and Emily.
I am genuinely curious though, and this is to everyone: who do they think are the best females to play this game?
I'd say Susie is top ten.
1) Rachel R.
2) Ev.
3) Laurel
4) Holly S.
5) Jodi
6) Susie
7) Emily S.
8) Veronica
9) Coral
10) Roni
Very, very accurate. So glad you included Roni
I don't know why people keep insisting Susie is a sub-par competitor. Yes she isn't a powerhouse like Ev, Laurel and Emily but she may just be one of the best strategic players ever. Whether it was fair or not she made it to 4 out of 4 finals and won twice. Yes she had people throw challenges or had other people thrown into eliminations to save herself but isn't that the whole point of the challenge? No one wants to go into an elimination so if you can manipulate and get yourself out of possibly going in kudos to her. And even when she had to step up she did winning lifeshields and eliminations. She's a decent athlete and a great strategist. I don't know about anyone else but I would be much rather make it to 4 out of 4 finals winning 2 of them anyway I can than be known as a beast like Emily and Laurel who have never one. No offense to them since they'll win eventually.

Emily B. introduced the mean girl tactic of voting off someone because of personal reasons. Veronica was on her tail for the inner circle and luckily somehow got the inner circle to turn against veronica (so i guess that is a little strategy, I can see susie pulling this off). Veronica had her chance to take out Emily and she didn't, so that's kind of her fault. And Emily was always a top 3 competitor she was really consistent. You also have to remember that if she never sat out that one mission, veronica would have never taken her spot.
Holly performed more consistent than kelly that season but I know what you mean.
If Holly and emily B are not on the list due to lack of challenges why is Roni there?
Evelyn is the most well rounded competitor, so... Evelyn. I thought that was the general consensus around here? That Evelyn is the best competitor.
Very, very accurate. So glad you included Roni
Roni is likely the most underrated and overlooked competitor in challenge history. Sure, she did the worst on her team in the first mission in the Gauntlet, but she proved she was the strongest girl along with Rachel throughout the season, and kicked Mike's *** on the log roller mission. I'd like to see her make a comeback, but it may not be likely :/
To think 13/28 of the Gauntlet's cast members have yet to return to another challenge is rather frightening. I think that number's around 12 for The Ruins as well :/
If anyone's wondering who my ranking of the worst challenge girls are in history... it's...
1) Shauvon
2) Brooke
3) Casey
4) Katelynn
5) Jisela
6) Leah
7) Devyn
8) Cameran
9) Sam
10) Sharon
Shocking person to not include: Katie Doyle. I think she's not the worst competitor. She's probably slightly below average. But she's definitely not the worst. This list may not be as accurate as I may be missing some. I was tempted to include Beth. I know she's an okay physical competitor but her social game sucks due to her horrible reputation.
And to TheCloser - Roni did 2 challenges and won them both.

Not disagreeing with roni being on there I just think holly and Emily B should be considered. and your terrible people list is awesome haha
I have nothing against her either. I think she's entertaining, but it's ludicrous to say she's top 10.
She's certainly not sub-par though, which was what started this whole argument.
Welp, here's my list for the best female players to play the game. I tried to add social, physical, politics, strategy, experience, intimidation, respect from peers, stand out moments etc. all into it.
I'm thinking (in this order)...
Rachel R.
Ev
Coral - probably one of the best to play a game on reality tv period and have things go exactly her way in her prime.
Ruthie - physically strong and the respect and praise she gets/got has to be acknowledged
Jodi
Veronica
Tonya
Susie
Jillian
Laurel - I need to see more of her to place her higher than the other girls.
Emily S. - a few aspects she's lacking but she'll probably move up or secure the same spot the more I see her.
Roni
Sarah
Holly S.
Camilla
(for me it gets iffy and interchangeable after this because a lot of them lack some aspects or we just haven't seen them much)
Julie
Tori
Christena
Kelley L.
Holly P. - couple of moves she made that were dumb
Kelly Anne
Paula
Ellen
Emily B. - see Holly, but they were more extreme than Holly's.
Cara Maria
Tina
Jenn
Svetlana
Aneesa
Diem
Robin
Kimberly
Kina
Ayanna - she could have been a beast but her social and political game was terrible so I just can't put her higher.
Well, _tahsa, personally I'm not privy to your street cred which allows you to state as fact that Susie is unimportant. Perhaps you could enlighten us as to whom you know are the important ones so we won't have to waste our time discussing anyone else.
"Street cred"? I'm not familiar with your slang. Would you like that list via personal message or would you prefer for me to just post it here? Unimportant/irrelevant *****es are the ones that bring nothing to the tv show. When, as a casual fan, you can't remember a single thing that someone has done, then they are unimportant and irrelevant.

Susie doesn't bring drama or anything like that, but she's a good competitor. Sadly, because she wasn't popping bottles or pushing people into bushes the casual fans who saw her on (i think) Ruins would describe her as unimportant. So I can see where you're coming from with that aspect. However, any (or most) viewers who have been around for racks of racks of years would agree that she is(was) a key player in the challenges.
Susie was not wanted on her team the last three Challenges she was on. If you call that a top 10 player, then you're crazy. Usually people would want a top competitor on their team.
What are we giving Susie credit for? Who has she beat in an elimination that was good? Who was on her team on her wins? Should we credit Janelle and Rachel M as great competitors because of their wins on G3 and I3?
My top 10 is a little biased, just like everyone else. Mine being, the fact that these girls are athletes, but I'll throw in some other girls who don't really athletic backgrounds for everyones sake.
In no order...
1.Ev- three wins, and a phenomenal athlete
2.Laurel- always makes it to the end and a great athlete
3.Emily S- made it to the end twice, and is a beast in crossfit. Probably the strongest girl to ever do a Challenge
4.Rachel R- two wins and an athlete
5.Camilla- a win and a firey/fierce competitor
6.Tori- two wins and an athlete
7.Jodi- a win on the Duel
8.Jillian- a win and an athlete
9.Sarah- went to the finals three times, and great with puzzles
10.Coral- what's a list without Coral? Biggest mouth in game, and a win
Other girls I'd take over Susie..
Diem, Kina, Holly, Julie, KellyAnne, Cara Maria, Ashley K, Paula, Nany, I can keep going on.
Susie is an average competitor, who has been very fortunate. She's like Luke Walton from the Lakers.

Noo...
I don't think Devyn should be considered one of the worst girls to ever do a challenge. Yes, she didn't do great during the final but she was actually pretty average throughout the season.
So we're doing lists huh? well here's my top 10 challenge women of all time.
10. Emily(Second Adventure)
9. Katie(The Quest)
8.Rachel(Campus Crawl)
7.Nany(Las Vegas 2)
6.Veronica(Semester at sea)
5.Aneesa(Chicago)
4.Marie(St Thomas)
3.Holly(Latin America)
2.Belou(Europe)
1.Coral(Back to New York)

"Street Cred" may be found online at Urban Dictionary. Actually, I was using it as a metonymic (figure of speech). Oh, the irony...
Feel free to send the list to me by PM. I'll be happy to post it for you.
Fortunately, I'm not a casual fan, nor am I a fan in any context. I'm just an almost retired producer, director, and occasionally writer for TV who has worked with a gaggle of reality crew and cast over the past couple of decades.

Okay I don't Hate the Fresh Meat(well except for Evan and Kenny).I just don't consider them real castmembers based on the fact that none of them had a proper RW season...And also the fact that hardly any of them are interesting, entertaining, or Rootable.
This goes for Camilla also.

I've always kind of felt the same way - it's like they didn't go through the fraternity initiation. They put soo many kids on FM, yet we only see the same 4-5 and the rest just fade into the background..I mean, obviously there's a reason why they made it to the finals of RW or Bad Girls Club and were not picked for the show.

I just think of Fresh Meat as people that would have been on Road Rules if it wasn't cancelled. Some keep coming back--some are one and done
My top 10 girls
1-4: Emily (DC), Rachel (Campus Crawl), Laurel (FM2) & Evelyn (FM1)--I don't care about the order
5. Coral
6. Jodi (though I still wish I would have seen her win something head to head)
7. Susie
8. Ruthie (her social game hurts her)
9. Veronica
10. Jillian
My top 10:
1- Evelyn
2- Rachel
3-4 Laurel, Emily (DC) (These can be interchangeable)
5-Jodi
6-Ruthie (her prime)
7-Veronica (her prime)
8- Coral
9-Susie
10-Sarah
Honarable Mention - Jillian, Tori, Camila
I would add people like both Hollys and Emily from Road Rules but I feel that the challenges are so different as to how it was back then.

I'm actually not even here for the 24/7 drama queens. Frank, Camila, Jenn, Paula etc. are some of the people that I just fast forward through. While Landon, is my favorite (male) challenger. Theres something about him that makes me remember him. Susie doesn't have that. She's always in the background until maybe the last episode when they know that it's close the final, there's not many people left, so they have no choice but to give her camera time just to fill in those extra few minutes. The competition doesn't really mean s*** to me. I watch the tv show for the tv show. If I wanted to watch competition, I'd watch ESPN.
btw, Was it the Ruins? I don't think I watched the Ruins.

I didn't ask you to respond. You did that all on your own.
Yeah. Dead on "Street Cred".
I can post it on my own, actually. I think I'm capable of that much.
What does any of that have to do with Susie being unimportant? I said from a causal fan's point of view, she brings nothing to the show. So that is the reason why I (aka The Causal Fan) posted that she was unimportant. But since you have worked in reality tv business forever. You've seen them all. You know how it works. Maybe if she does decide to come back, You could teach her how to be a bit more relevant. Hmm... whatuthink? Yes?

We're here to discuss it. Doesn't mean he is more or less important. Some people like FM some don't. It's as simple as that.

I agree. But Camila did the damn thing two years ago and earned it. Besides would any of the other SB-ers have been asked? I think not. I love to dislike her but she is memorable after all.
