I'm still in shock at the amount of promos I've been seeing, the casting extras on the website, AND that they are actually gonna go back to ye olden days and do a marathon before the season airs (That used to be like a requirement). MTV is going all out to promote this season, huh? I guess after watching it, they have high hopes. Unlike St Thomas, where it was like they gave up before the season even aired.
According to my tv guide, starting at 8pm on Friday they're showing the first season! I definitely didn't expect that. I was thinking Austin was probably the farthest bacck they'd go.

If it's renewed they'll probably go back to not giving a **** and not showing any promos and giving them proper treatment/edititng, then when another two seasons comes along and we get another poor rating they'll start caring again and the whole routine will continue. / rant

I don't really get this argument because it's not true. MTV promoted the **** out of San Diego 2... to the point where I memorized the commercials. They only stopped once the ratings tanked to the point where it was redundant. The only reason they didn't bother with St. Thomas is because I'm sure at this point they can look at a season and tell whether it's even worth the time to promote and that season definitely was not, no amount of re-runs or promoting would have made people tune in.

They probably just wanted to show New York because it's the original, San Francisco because it's the most iconic for the older fans, and Vegas because it's probably still the most talked about season ever.
Anybody else notice in one of those "meet the cast" videos that they showed a clip where they were all walking down the street (Anastasia is in a bathrobe...), and both Nia and Joi were in it. I guess they were there at the same time at some point? This might be old news, but just something I noticed.
Unless that was like a clip from when they did the photoshoot or something, idk.
