I think if its rivals then Leroy would have been axed and they could just go in with 1 less team like on exes. But you made a good list I think that covered almost all of them

A lot of you are saying that this is Rivals 2 because MTV can make a rivalry out of anything. When have they done that ? All of the pairs in the original rivals had legit arguments and animosity built up towards one another. Yes some were out of date and some even moved passed their "rivalry", but they were all solid. So using Naomi and Aneesa as a pair because they had "off camera beef", is a weak argument.
Lets move pass this and assume maybe this is a new concept.

Keyword = Rivals. Not exes. But if I were to defend it, majority of the cast knew about Johnny and Camila and their intimate relationship on Rivals, it was also spoken about pubicly. Aneesa and Rachel didnt happen on camera as well, it was off camera that wasn't mentioned till the Duel 2.

Agreed with all of this, Rivals is a stretch that is only being made because there was a Rivals. I'm glad Rivals wasn't one of the first 5 formats otherwise people would make up drama for every challenge that all the people can be Rivals. I have a feeling every challenge will have a Rivals convo now until it actually happens

Its the same thing all you need is a little animosity and you can call it a rival, unlike exes where you had to physically do something to be an "ex" its more confusing for exes cause some of the audience didnt see it so they would have no idea it happened. I'm sure there is a lot of hookups that the cast knows about and they werent on exes. To make Naomi/Aneesa a pair just put a voice over where Naomi says she's going to kill a girl and show Leroy/Aneesa going at it or put her with cook
rivals is definitely a strech but if they stretched it that bad for exes I wouldnt be shocked if they did it for rivals 2. All you need is some good screaming for the trailer to make the rivals look legit and I can remember some for most of the cast. Leroy is the main person making me doubt its rivals
Alright we touched enough bases on rivals... Lets stop talking about the definition of rivalries or how MTV/BMP throw anything together. Clearly we know the answers to both. This is not getting us anywhere.
What are some other possible formats based off the ELIMINATED and NOT the cast people have pondered on?

THIS IS SO TRUE!
They do live together and Trishelle lets him tweet to people from her twitter often because he doesn't have one.. and They both play Poker and have alot of. The same friends in poker..
However im not ruling out the her having to leave early if you guys kept up with Trishelle beforre departure Trishelle did get a really bad sinus infection.. That could of been alot worse/gotten alot worse as time went on I dont think Trishhelle would quit with Sarah as her partner i just dont see it.. she knows her and sarah would be an awesome duo..
Also as far as the vet talk Trishelle is good friends with alot of people.. Kenny and Evan the EK in JEK BOTH HAD ONLY NICE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT TRISHELLE IN THE RETRO MARATHON.. and Paula is a huge fan and friend of Triselle and her and Diem talkk regularly so yeah lets not start thinking crazy until the facts come out.. Trishelle if she is back is one of the mmore easy people to spot at home she does alot oof events for poker and public spealing and has a new show showing soon with Amanda from Survivor so if she is back home she will definitely be seen publicly soon..
Also The Melinda and Wes fight with Trishelle the first just because she fought with Melinda and Wes means nothing.. saying that no one likes her based off that .. Right.. Wes is always one of the first to go home and Melinda.. boring and definitely not popular in the challenge community either check the records.. never even close to winning anything since Gauntlet 3 .. lol with all her real world cast on still got the shaft lol.. so yeah.. ..

I was thinking usually if youre against one side Wes/whoever then youre usually friends with the other side JEK but apparently she's not a fan of JEK either just Evan aparently, like I said for a while I was confusing her with another girl so I was surprised that she was saying Johnny sucks on the podcast. Paula and Everlyn never had a confrontation
Davis and Tyrie happily lived together for 3 months after their confrontation
Tyler and Johnny got along very well
Leroy and Mike were besties
Evan and Nehemiah had no confrontation
Jasmine & Jonna had no confrontation

Tyler and Johnny have history from as far back as Duel 1
Mike was brought into replace Adam after he punched Ty so I wouldn't expect too much of a Rivalry
Evan and Nehemiah may not have had a blow up onscreen but JEK has gone after Nehemiah in the past, partially because of his association to Beth
Jasmine & Jonna both liked the same guy on RW Cancun and Jonna slept with ******* off Jasmine
Paula & Evelyn: I cannot really think of a link off the top of my head.

Johnny took it personally when Tyler sent him home as the first guy to leave on Duel 1 and thus pegged him on G3 to go into elimination. Even Tyler references that point. That's their where their Rivalry developed. Being on Rivals healed that wound between them.

The difference is the major pairs did have "real beef"..CT/Adam had the best fight in MTV history (even if you disagree everyone knows about it), Wes/Kenny involved johanna and I think Wes really was hurt, even johnny/tyler had that elimination beef..I think everyone isn't seeing that some pairs could be "a little made up" because the ratings grabbers had some real awesome rivalries..The cast lists being put together on here don't have anything even close to a single "real rivalry" like the original, most are reaches, and the full cast isn't as popular. Rivals would even make sense down the line when there are new and real rivalries, but doing another one soon and partnering the originals with new people is also a stretch.
Putting CT with Wes is like making exes with him and Shauvon..They both are "real" but it's weak in comparison to Adam and Diem..If that's how bmp is gonna roll then so be it, but it doesn't make sense
