I think what Anastasia is defending Jordan for is the WORST thing he did in the entire situation! It is never okay to make hurtful racial and sexist jokes like that! They're both in the wrong but that doesn't make it OK for him to do those things.
I thought the n word that ends with a was fine for everyone to use....that's the one Nia said
The OTHER N word is the big no no
Seriously? They're the same word. It's okay if you use it when it ends in an "a" but not when it ends in an "er"? Come on.
Agree, but the whole monkey thing was TOOOOO MUCH. But I understand he was drunk.
Maybe so. But Nia shouldn't dish it out if she can't take it.
Agree, but the whole monkey thing was TOOOOO MUCH. But I understand he was drunk.
There is no question Nia instigated, but there are lines not to be crossed.

GTFO of here. ****.
No it's not "for everyone to use" amongst ourselves yes but from any white person? **** no. Friends or no friends.
Maybe so. But Nia shouldn't dish it out if she can't take it.
*** did I just get myself into. Is this the twilight zone because I don't believe this ****.

I don't think anyone really thinks the monkey noises were okay. Even Jordan doesn't. I think the point he and Bird were trying to make is that it's not like he just randomly started making racial jabs; he was extremely, extremely provoked and Nia is leaving that part out. That doesn't make it okay, but it's not fair for Nia to throw the worst part of what Jordan did in his face while totally omitting how crazy she was acting.
well Jordan making monkey noises is just not the same thing as Nia calling him the N'word in the slang way. People need to understand that word has a lot of history to it for black people. Some take it and turn it into a casual slang thing without negativity. That's what Nia was doing. Nia wasn't being racial. She was just saying it in a slang way. Jordan doing the monkey noises was racial. And the people who complain about black people getting to use it, but not white people, don't get it. It's about the history and the context.
I think Avery said it best on her twitter that Nia making fun of his hand was just as bad as Jordan doing monkey noises.
Now THIS is the truth when it comes down to it. They might as well wipe the slate clean if they haven't already.
I like how Nia called Jordan out for not holding himself accountable when he's the one who sat down when they were all talking about him and said what he thought he did wrong and Nia didn't admit to a single thing.
And holy **** do I want to see Coral go to town on Nia on the aftershow. Let's see if she's dumb enough to give Coral lip.

Trust me, it's a lot more complicated than that. There are differences, permutations, context. They are not exactly the same word, sometimes they are very different words. It can be very confusing to someone who isn't aware but there are absolute differences, on top of that there are differences to different groups.
I love Bird <3 for speaking the truth to Nia's face, and to the other roommates, for shutting down Jessica, for hugging Jordan and having his back when no one else did!
three cheers for bird! hip hip hooray ...
Both were definitely wrong, but to think the way Nia and Jordan used the n-word is the same is completely wrong. Nia used it in slang terms, while Jordan used it to obviously be racist, with the monkey noises as well.

A lot of young black and hispanic people use it in a slang way just as casually as calling someone "bro". I'm sure Nia was yelling things like "you're a punk n word" in a slang way. Anastasia doesn't get that it's just not the same when a white person does it. Consider the history.
it's just a shame this was made racial when Jordan started doing monkey noises because that's overshadowing everything when more attention should be given to the fact that Nia blatantly provoked him again and again just to be malicious.

So now we're making excuses for Jordan on how he was "extremely, extremely provoked"? Like one of the cast said earlier in the episode Jordan is a grown man and if he apologizes everything will be okay. Does that necessarily mean that Nia will stop at this point in the series? Who knows. But she's a grown woman and he's a grown man and they should get over it.

You literally brought the words forth from my mind.

Ignorant question, but if that's the case, why do people say N***a so casually without backlash at times?

He already admitted he was in the wrong for the monkey noises. (Note that Nia hasn't admitted a **** thing.) So the case should be closed.
But Nia won't stop.
AS I said before, Jordan screwed himself by going racial. If he would have avoided that,he would have came out on top 100 percent clean. Everyone in the house hates him and is looking for ammunition. Last week he just gave it to them. I guess this is where Nia's head games are finally coming to fruition. Take them down to your level and beat them with experience.

Camille what in the world are you honestly talking about? I know as a black man how the word is used and not used whether it's the right thing to do or not. I don't need you to sit me down and tell me that she was using it towards him "in a slang way". I know that already. And as for hispanics, I am not hispanic and hispanics are not blacks so consider the history?
**** I multiracial in the first **** place if we're really going to go there, lol. Which reminds me they should've just gone to the **** Falls.
Ignorant question, but if that's the case, why do people say N***a so casually without backlash at times?
Because there's a time and a place for everything as well as the type of surroundings. This is beginning to sound like all people want to use the word and that's not going to happen.

Bingo.
Every time Johnny drinks he you have to dance around his ego otherwise he catches a case of butthurt.
I know right? But I'm still impartial to Johnny sometimes I like him as a person in the sense of that point he was making earlier but at the same time I could care less. Had we not known that he was going to have an in-house relationship, I probably be a lot more understanding of him.
