As a guy hearing all these things, over the phone and they haven't dated for a while is creapy, plus it can put off some guys. Did he do the coward thing yes by doing it through an email yes. But do you think he wants to break up with her face to face on camera, and then deal with the aftermath of the questions, and crying and anger. No. Jess, can be a nice girl but she comes off too much. Easy off the pedal.
I skipped most of the Marlon stuff but gees I dont get that guy, you cant say you obstain from *** if youve already had *** before, or maybe this was the 2nd time in his life which I doubt it was, I think hes making a big deal out of it, if it was a big deal to him he would try harder not to hook up.
And Averey/Johnny are once again annoying, but I'm on Johnny's side of that fight, I dont know if Averey knew that guy from before, but I dont know any man that would be cool with their gf talking to random guys at bars
I think we can all agree that the highlight of this episode was the legendary hook "thirsty and junk" supplied by the lovely Jessica.
I can see that being our modern equivalent of "Oh my God, Becky look at her butt. It is SOO big!"

Well that guy was a regular to the bar, so I'm guessing he wasn't a random. But I'm kind of on Johnny's side in this fight too (and I generally like Avery more than him) because he may be jealous, but you know that if Johnny spent an hour and half talking to a another female at the bar to the point of missing their ride, she would be mad. Really mad. When he said that, notice she didn't have an answer for him.
Is Marlon only making a big deal out of the *** thing because it's with a girl and he wants to be accepted? I also still don't understand his circumstance being different behind having *** with a guy and claiming to be straight.
Sneak peek for next week: 'Real World: Portland': Nia Punches Johnny In Brawl Preview (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)
Who woulda thought? Daisy started all the drama. And for an EXTREMELY petty reason. The drama may be interesting, but all the attitudes behind it basically show why I don't like anyone on this cast.
She should've been sent home. I want to read the contract, specifically the part that deals with physical violence and I would hope that Johnny does the same.

I was just going to say that. Do we know she def. does not get sent home? She physically attacks Johnny and Avery.

I doubt she was sent home. Highly doubt it. The rules are vague as it is and even clear cut things like that get ignored. I'm not going to try to turn it into a sexist thing but it seems like female on male violence is not only ignored, but often applauded. Jasmine punched Tyrie on Battle of the Exes, no repercussions (and I like Jasmine a lot, but by the letter of the law she should've gone. Earlier in the season Nia is hitting Jordan in the head with a metal alarm clock. Turning to a different show, when Snooki gets punched by a dude on the board walk we get it blacked out and a message about violence against women after the show, but then Sammi socks Ronnie across the jaw (pretty much the exact same punch Snooki was hit with) and nothing.
I think MTV is setting up a dangerous situation where one girl is going to go too far in getting physical with a guy and the guy is going to retaliate. Hopefully they're ready when that day comes.
I would love to see Nia cross paths with Michelle Rodriguez and throw a punch since Michelle has had some serious boxing training. Although, honestly, I think her crossing Gina Carano would be so much better.
Based on what V1Man has vaguely mentioned, I'd say she stays
Don't lay this on me. I have no idea what you're talking about. I have no clue what happens.

You brought up in reference to Nia how they will keep certain people around and bend the rules as much as possible if the show would decrease in quality if they actually followed protocol. Hence why it came off as "Nia doesn't get kicked off"

That was a comment on production's general philosophy without any foreknowledge of what happened in Portland.
Also Nia did not attack Avery first. Nia goes to hit Johnny and Avery attacks her from behind like a Coward.
Nia has been saying that since the trailer aired but no one wanted to believe her. She just kept saying "y'alll will see". It all adds up.
Exactly why I never liked Averey, she needs her *** beat. First that whole thing when she told Johnny she was "attacked" in the bathroom, and now this. No way in **** that chick would survive being on the show without Johnny, or better yet, a Challenge.

I think their dislike towards Nia clouds their Judgement. It's obvious that Johnny and Avery were both wrong in this Situation. I'm sorry but you would get a beat down pouring something on me or sneak attacking me.
Seeing that clip has me deeply confused as to how Johnny and Averey are the ones going to leave (maybe for the better, just a guess), but I for one cannot stand Nia's attitude of being a strong-*** lady and getting away with sucker punching people.
For once, the words of Frank from BOTS comes to my mind: "I'm sorry, but when you don't act like a lady, you're gonna get berated." And I seriously hope karma bites her in the *** real hard, real soon.
Well Nia also leaves out the fact that she instigated the situation and was the first to physically attack someone. So even if Avery hit her first, Nia also tried to kick Johnny's *** and seemingly wanted to beat him with a "weapon"
Hold your horses. I don't think it was completely irrational for Nia to hit Johnny for pouring (or attempting to) something on her. I don't think she was wrong in that aspect. Should she have been kicked? Probably.
From the clips, it seems like all of Averey's hits, which actually just look like a bunch of hair tussling, occurs when Nia is being restrained. If that isn't weak, I don't know what is.
I'd have to see the fight in its entirety before making any definitive statements, but Averey and Johnny do come off looking a bit weak, especially Johnny. You're a man. You're involving yourself into too many female battles. Can't weigh in on sucker punches, since I haven't seen the entirety yet. I wouldn't call Nia's blows to Johnny sucker punching though. The mirror one to Averey looks as if it could be though.
At the end of the day, if Averey and Nia were going to fight, they should've just let them fought. They should've squared up without any outside involvement or sucker punches and gone at it.
