Well Nia also leaves out the fact that she instigated the situation and was the first to physically attack someone. So even if Avery hit her first, Nia also tried to kick Johnny's *** and seemingly wanted to beat him with a "weapon"
Johnny himself said that he can't hit girls so he tries to degrade them anyway possible. He should have known that Nia wasn't going to let him put a Snotty tissue on her and throw a drink without doing anything. I would respect Avery more if she should stood in front of her man and said if you hit him you have to hit me first instead of running up on Nia from behind.
I found this whole sequence hilarious. Those people are absolutely nuts. Averey, how old are you? Only five year olds argue back when someone says something ridiculous. "It's my dog." "No, it's not your dog! It's mine!" Really? Nia was obviously taunting you and everyone knows it's your dog, why are you getting upset? Nia, you didn't need to hit him, and even if you did, eight is enough (family guy reference). And why are you turning the lights on and waking them up? Come on, have a little consideration for your roommates. Johnny, why are you pouring a can of energy drink on her? And when she hits you why are you standing there like a *****, you could've at least wiggled out, it's not like she was holding you that tightly, or tightly at all, from what it looked like. And please tell me you're not fighting Averey's battle again Tomorrow's gonna be a funny episode, I honestly don't believe they're fighting over a dog, I think (well hope) their issues are rooted more deeply than that
Nia, you didn't need to hit him, and even if you did, eight is enough (family guy reference).
***** you get points for that one. one of my favorite episodes
I'm such an idiot. "It's my boogers" I get it now... Wow, Johnny.
The people saying that Johnny deserved what he got are out of their minds. He put the tissue on her jeans, not even exposed skin, and then sloshed a little of that blue stuff on her. Gross and disrespectful definitely, and I probably would've understood an open hand smack in the face or a punch to the arm. Punching him, and I counted, 5 times to the shoulder/back area and then 11 times in the head is unnecessary, especially when he's just standing there and taking it the whole time and making no move to get away. Nia is full of ****. She runs her mouth all the time saying how manipulative she is and how she's always "winning". The goal of manipulation and this psychological warfare thing she's trying to pull is to poke at people until they go nuts while you look like the calm, rational one. That was working with Averey, but then Johnny casually dropped the tissue on her and she went bananas. I'd say she lost this exchange.
For those of you who can, watch the clip in slow motion and focus on Nia' eyes. It's like they glaze over and she is completely out of control. This is the behavior of an irrational, manipulative person - a complete narcissist. Medication, Nia, that is what you need. A court-mandated course in anger management would be only about you. (I'm registering with the Writer's Guild a scripted, quasi-relality series with Nia going through court-ordered anger management, so don't get any ideas, MTV -- but you could buy it from me. ;) )
So if Nia was a guy and Johnny did that exact same thing, do you honestly think an "open handed smack" would have happened? No. Therefore she reacted the same way a lot of people would in that situation, guy or girl. I guess I can only speak for myself but if someone pours something on me, you'd be lucky to get out the ******* room alive, dude.
I've been a fist fights before and I've seen a 100 more; that happens to everyone when they start to fight, it's an instant reaction. That's not the behavior of "an irrational, manipulative person - a complete narcissist." It's the behavior of someone whos ****** the **** off. Sure, Nia may be all of those things but not because she blanks out during a fight. Thats normal.
Really dude? Just read the comments, we've been talking about this for like 4 pages -___- lol
I haven't been paying much attention to this season. Just came across the video and wanted to state my opinion.
I'm just trying to figure out what part of the world do you guys live in were pouring a drink on someone shouldn't result in getting hit.. I honestly feel sad for you if you would just sit there and yell. Man, Woman, beast, ******, or whatever you want to call Nia - she reacted in the same way a lot of people would in the heat of the moment. This isn't some random guy who just happened to do it, this is someone she has obvious had issues with. So if someone I had an issues with thats just been boiling up inside did that, heck yeah you're getting hit.

If you wanna snap out that's fine and Ill understand but this woman is crazy. Something is wrong with her and the way she acts. Kida sad.

Nia was assaulting Johnny, which was cowardly because she knew Johnny wouldn't hit back. I probably wouldn't be so kind after getting hit for the 4th or 5th time.

I can see both points of view. Yeah she started it and yeah she had it coming, but I can't blame her for that. I don't think you guys get that in the heat of the moment when something like that happens, it's hard to just "stop" especially when it' someone you already hate.

Did they pounce like they were probably going to hit them or want to hit them? Yes. But a lot of people have restraint. I'd be ****** if I were Nia and somebody poured a drink on me, but she's already shown that she's a psycho. So, no surprise that she would go off like that. Plus the whole idea that it's okay for a woman to hit a man is pretty outrageous anyway. I can't wait for Nia's story about it too. It can't be any better than her Jordan story. "I was half-naked and vulnerable!"
In a civilized society governed by the rule of law...
Well maybe I just have a temper. but after getting a drink on me it would be very hard to walk away.
I will never hit a lady. However, if she swings first, then she is definitely not a lady. In regards to that specific incident, I could see some pushing or yelling or maybe a single punch, but Nia did not deliver a single punch, she was out to punish Johnny by assaulting him. What makes it even worse is she picks up an implement, in this case a hair dryer, to go after him again. She's thinking like a child at that point.
Well maybe I just have a temper. but after getting a drink on me it would be very hard to walk away.
Not giving in to the temptation to instantly assuage your anger is what separates us from other animals. ~~ It's just liquid. It's not going to kill you. One could make the choice to just laugh about it, but that might not be good TV or how one may have been coached by production. A random question for anyone.. Why was there already a camera crew in the room where Avery and Johnny were "asleep" before Nia entered, made noise and turned on the lights?
Why was there already a camera crew in the room where Avery and Johnny were "asleep" before Nia entered, made noise and turned on the lights?
Your guess is as good as anyone else's.
After seeing that sneek peak I am playing both sides. Johnny putting that tissue and throwing that liquid on Nia isn't okay, at least for me. But Nia assaulting Johnny and punching him several times isn't okay either. I agree that Nia didn't act like a women but Johnny didn't act like a man either.
Keep in mind that Nia lives to antagonize and manipulate. She does and thinks she is winning (just like Charlie Sheen during his stint using 'Winning!'). She's purposefully pushing people's buttons because she likes to and thinks she can get away with anything. But forgets that people may retaliate in ways that she does not like. It happened with Jordan and now it is happening with Avery and Johnny. Why was there a camera crew in Avery and Johnny's room before Nia walked in there? Perhaps because she said she was going to go do something or it had been building to something and they wanted to be ready.
If it was a heat of the moment thing like you said then she shouldn't say how manipulative she is and how she doesn't care about anyone.
Ok but you're taking things out of context. I doubt she was saying she pre-meditated hitting Johnny. She meant she was manipulating them and trying to egg them on. What happened after is the thing that happened with Jordan; he didn't react the way she excepted, and she couldn't handle it, snapped, and hit him in the heat of the moment. EDIT: Oop, Desertpuma said it right before I did
However, if she swings first, then she is definitely not a lady.
Why is it be more acceptable for guys to give into their anger and hit somebody?

As a former reality producer, I'd say it's a gold plated invite.
Agree .... She is a disgusting human being. I am all about defending yourself but she went too far. Always Team Johnny/Averey
This comment is just dripping with misogyny.
Did you intend to insult RMD1 with that comment, or is it a necessary byproduct of the need to express your opinion?
