I agree, she obviously had a right to defend herself from what Johnny did but she went overboard and was beating him when she knew he could not hit her back and then she acts like she won and is so proud of it on twitter. She is a disgusting human being. I am all about defending yourself but she went too far.
Always Team Johnny/Averey
She seemed to be out to try and prove a point that she could beat on Johnny. If you notice, he did nothing but cover himself. He let Jordan and Marlon pull her off of him so she had no ammunition for him hitting her back.

I honestly don't understand how someone could be Team Johnny/Averey or Team Nia to be honest. They're both in the wrong. Nia has a bad reputation that she built, so she gets dumped on the most. However, I'm astounded by the lengths that people go to justify everything Johnny and Averey do. It's ridiculous.
Did you intend to insult RMD1 with that comment, or is it a necessary byproduct of the need to express your opinion?
There was no insult.
I'm just trying to figure out what part of the world do you guys live in were pouring a drink on someone shouldn't result in getting hit.. I honestly feel sad for you if you would just sit there and yell.
Man, Woman, beast, ******, or whatever you want to call Nia - she reacted in the same way a lot of people would in the heat of the moment. This isn't some random guy who just happened to do it, this is someone she has obvious had issues with. So if someone I had an issues with thats just been boiling up inside did that, heck yeah you're getting hit.
I wouldn't want to hit someone, especially on TV of all places....that would look horrible professionally :/
In real life, thankfully I've never been involved in fights so I didn't have to deal with **** people. If I was in that situation(not on TV), I'd probably throw drinks back.
I wouldn't want to hit someone if I was on TV....that would look horrible professionally :/

Amen to that. It may not have sunk in yet but everything that airs on the show can be seen by any future employer. Why do you think Sean (RW Boston) has disavowed his past affiliation to the Real World so heavily once he became an attorney, not to mention that he now serves in the US Congress as a Representative.
Can I just say: Marlon's reaction only contributes to my extreme annoyance with him.
"Oh, Nia's assaulting a roommate? Wooah... woahh... Here, lemme put a hand on your arm to break things up after Jordan already did. Woah... noo... stop."
"Staahhp... Noo, you bigger than that, though. Even though I've already seen you try to bust a lamp on Jordan's head. Wooah... wooah... I'll make no attempt from stopping you as you charge towards Johnny"
*Later*
"Gee, I don't know if I can trust you"
It reminded me a little of Jersey Shore with Sammi going "Stahp, Rawn! Stahhhp!"
Was Nia being petty about the waking them up? Yes. However, Avery was also being petty about arguing with Nia about a dog she knows she owns. Johnny is at fault here because he once again wants to fight his girl's battle without it being needed. I don't live in some picture perfect land so if you put a Snotty tissue on me and throw a Drink then you about to get hit. If she didn't hit him back he would have likely tried to keep degrading her. Also if we want to talk about The Real World affecting Jobs then I definitely have to say I wouldn't want Johnny cooking my food.

Well, in part, this is a gem of wisdom. The Real World used to be about people being "real," but it appears to have devolved to a show about people being petty. Nia wants to make her career capitalizing on the petty and Avery's upbringing apparently doesn't include learning about the avoidance of absurdity. What a **** storm this dynasty has become. I suppose an argument can be made that this is what our society has become.
A friend reminded my earlier today that a few years ago, a man in a bar in Minneapolis heard another man call his girlfriend a **** -- the GF was six months pregnant at the time and the man with the offensive comment had two small children and a wife at home. Naturally, the guy reacts negatively to the insulting comment, hits the other guy as he is standing up who then falls to hit his head on the brass bar foot rail. He dies three days later from a massive blood clot in the brain. Both men have no part in their children's future -- one dead, the other in jail for murder. Just plain stupid...

LOLWTF? You can't be serious now can you. I wonder do you call what Averey and Johnny ******* on the job as professional...This isn't even occur in the work area so how would it be unprofessional?

I call that unprofessional too, I never once denied that(or discussed that). :)
And I meant that it looks HORRID when it's blasted on TV. If Nia was to apply to med school, law school, etc. and the admission committee saw a video of her punching someone as a conflict resolution method, it wouldn't look good

However, Johnny's actions doesn't look good for the Job he has back home. Having sex in bathrooms, Putty snotty tissues on people, degrading females, and constantly pulling his pants down. No one wants someone like that cooking their food.

LOL it's the second or third time you say it's a "snotty tissue".
It was clean toilet paper so that she could pick up the ****.
And I guess I'm the exception. I disagree with him degrading women and having sex in bathrooms, but that has nothing to with being a good cook. As long as he follows recipes, washes his hands and doesn't spit in my food, I don't give a damn about anything else.
So if Nia was a guy and Johnny did that exact same thing, do you honestly think an "open handed smack" would have happened? No. Therefore she reacted the same way a lot of people would in that situation, guy or girl. I guess I can only speak for myself but if someone pours something on me, you'd be lucky to get out the ******* room alive, dude.

If it were two men and one guy swung at the other, the other would be able to swing back and it would be understandable for it to turn into a fight. If a girl did that to a guy, however, he'd have to just sit there and take it. I think Nia knows that Johnny isn't going to hit a girl, so she took that as license to swing at him as many times, and as hard as she could since she knew there'd be no repercussions.
And if you're willing to swing that many times at someone who isn't fighting you back over a little bit of energy drink spilled on you, then you have problems, anger management chiefly among them.
LOL it's the second or third time you say it's a "snotty tissue".

No it wasn't. When she picks the toilet paper on his back he says "It's my Boogers". Nia even said it was on Twitter.

It shouldn't matter how much energy drink it was and the only reason it didn't all get on her was because she stopped him from pouring the whole can on her. If he knows he can't hit a girl back he shouldn't have went in the bathroom to mess with her. Johnny should have stayed out of the situation or at least kept it Verbal. If she needs Anger Management then he needs a lesson in Common Sense 101.

Lol mte. Johnny is a loser and is one of those guys who loves to get involved in female drama. Guys like that are embarrassing. Averey is petty and actually is dumb enough to fall right into Nia's trap and she does it every single time. Nia is just across the board crazy and everything she does crosses the line so tbh there are no winners here.

I agree, that is terrible as well. Just cause I thought Nia behaved badly doesn't mean I thought Johnny wasn't either lol.
And...personally I would never put my hands on anybody. Then again, I'd be a terrible reality cast mate as I tend to stay FAR, FAR away from drama, am an introvert, and prefer to chill and never argue at all. I would either
A) Walk away
B) Grab popcorn and watch people act silly.
B is pretty much what I'll be doing tonight ;)

My mistake, then.
That's ******* disgusting. Real mature, Johnny.

I feel you. But Johnny as a man should know better.
Rumor of the day is that someone in the Portland media is working on a story about city officials and their view of "domestic" violence sanctioned by a filming permit. This could get interesting.
This comment is just dripping with misogyny.
Not at all. Do you think it's okay to hit someone like that if they weren't coming after you? It's my opinion, one that is shared by both numerous men and women. Any woman who hits another man should expect to be hit back. I'm not saying punched in the face, but if she was punching me like that I would've pushed her on her *** and held her down until she got herself steeled down. Now you can call me anything you'd like.
I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'm pretty much only watching cause they are showing the beginning of Nia's fights, although they'll likely leave it as a cliffhanger. We shall see!

I don't understand the apparently prevalent notion that I insulted you or called you a name. Reading comprehension is an interesting thing. Speaking of that, you missed my point.
By the way, define 'coming after you.' Nia perceived Johnny coming up to her and pouring a drink on her as 'coming after her.' I think that is valid. Now, if you mean 'coming after you' in the sense of Johnny returning any type of blows, then I'll agree. Nia went overboard.
However, I can't completely get behind the notion that any woman who hits a man should expect to be hit back. Context is important. Of course, there are also the difference in strength capacity. I don't think a man should necessarily hit a woman, but he should defend himself in some manner. Johnny obviously did not. Like you said, he should've pushed her off and restrained her. I would have done the same.
My misogyny comment was more or less aimed at your choice in words in conveying your disgust. A woman who hits a man is not a woman and shouldn't be treated like one. After revisiting the quote, I take less of an offense now than before. I understand the message. I just think context is very important, but I think that goes without saying.
The cast is really hyping the upcoming episode on Twitter. There's talks about it being a **** show and that people will hate the cast by the time it's over. Well, call me excited. It could be the best/most interesting RW episode since Las Vegas 2's "Dustin Shows His Hand, Heather Folds".
...Or it could really just make us all disgusted with them and their pettiness/irrationality.
I don't understand the apparently prevalent notion that I insulted you or called you a name. Reading comprehension is an interesting thing. Speaking of that, you missed my point.
Can you just stop!? Holy hell, it is that hard to be mature and not insult people at every chance? This is to everyone who can't take opinions that differ from theirs and use little jabs to make themselves feel better. No wonder the mods seem to be annoyed, this bickering is just plain stupid.
and this is the season finale right? Usually most of the final episode is spent on them talking about leaving and they spend like 15 mins showing them packing and leaving or maybe they dont do that anymore. Hopefully the episode isnt just 5 seconds of a fight
