On Twitter there were people who were saying how Nia should have destroyed Averey more, make her bleed to death, steal Daisy from her, hope Easy A gets AIDS, etc. Social media can bring out crazy comments :O
I'm in no way a Nia fan, so I have no reason to be "delusional" about Nia's popularity. In this situation, I do side with her though. Simply stating that the majority of tweets that I've seen have been pro-Nia is not delusional in any way. You, on the other hand, do seem to be quite bitter towards Nia. Did she kill your puppy?
[Deleted] Characters like Nia are the very element bringing down Reality TV. She is precisely who the critics love to rub in our faces in the industry. When we cast people like her, the results are predictable.

Yes, and more of that "evidence" I said the critics love.
To be fair, V1, I think the majority of viewers are on Nia's side with this particular argument, at least the majority of fans tweeting about the show.
Pfft.
I'd digress, but what's the point.
Edit: Fine. I'll bite. Please share your metrics.

How does saying that I've seen more pro-Nia tweets than anti-Nia tweets and pointing out your obvious distaste for Nia at all indicate that I'm 12?

It has nothing to do with your age, but I enjoyed writing that -- and then deleting it within the 15 minute time limit for comment modification. I felt so much better after writing it, though. The simple fact is that I so detest what Nia did to RW Portland that I see you as an extension of her. Unfair? Yes, but there is is.
I believe V1 is referring to the youth of inexperience regarding how reality TV used to be a decade or even five years ago versus today and the downward spiral as being commonplace. The younger set of viewers has no concept of how much reality TV has fallen and sunk into the mire in the past five years. critics of it cite exactly actions like Nia's as being one of the reasons no one should watch and that the FCC should step into to regulate it.

Lack of awareness of the type of people that are on twitter. The majority of people are not pro-Nia. Just look at the comment section of the videos on MTV. They more accurately show how people feel about Nia. You could also just look at the people on this website. You have a few people who are pro-Nia, but they are few and far between and post more often than those who do not like Nia to make it seem like it is more even than it is.
To be fair, V1, I think the majority of viewers are on Nia's side with this particular argument, at least the majority of fans tweeting about the show. I really haven't seen too many pro-Johnny/Avery comments from fans outside of Vevmo since the airing of the episode. The few fans this show has left seem to be loving Nia at this point.
It may seem so if one reads Nia's opinion or if Nia's twitter but even on Twitter Avery has approximately 4K more followers and from what I've read on the various sites, there is utter digust over Nia's actions and how she bragged about it. Not a good look.
She comes off as SO phony! She reminds me of Kyle from the Chicago season.....always projecting an image and trying to be something that he/she clearly is not. I was so happy Bird and Johnny called her out on being fake.
I disagree, just because the girl is spoiled, religious, and naive doesn't make her phony. I myself am a Christian and don't find her to be phony. I like Jessica, but will say she has some growing up to do.
I don't recall Bird or Johnny calling Jessica fake. Matter fact Jessica and Anastasia are friends. However, I know Johnny doesn't like Jess. Johnny has said he doesn't like Jess because she spoiled and in your face about it. Bird has said some of the things Jess does are crazy like putting tons of pictures up of Tyler and her after knowing each other for such a short time.

there was an entire episode based on Ana thinking jess was fake. same with Johnny.
there was an entire episode based on Ana thinking jess was fake. same with Johnny.
What episode was that? I must have missed it.
Well if you watch the episode where people were fighting over dog ****. The e[episode towards the end of the season. You will see Anastasia and Jess make up. Anastasia told Jess our problems are nothing compared to theirs. Then Anastasia said to Jess she has her back and they hugged. So if Anastasia felt that she was fake, I am sure she doesn't anymore. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Johnny thought she was fake then and still feels that way now.
I think Jessica's fake. She kept claiming that she didn't want to kiss Tyler or sleep with him but in his break-up letter, you can clearly see he wrote "And we're both freaks in the sheets" when they blew the letter up on the episode. Plus, all those rumors about her sleeping with her cousin's fiance and what not.

I disagree just because Tyler mentioned that they're both freak in the sheets doesn't mean that they rushed into *** or that they had *** while on the show. He could have been saying that "freak in the sheets" comment as an example of how they both were in their old relationships. Jess has never stated that she was a virgin or that she was perfect. She has said that she didn't want to make the same mistake that she did in her past relationships. Which I am sure included rushing into *** etc.
She wanted to take things slow with Tyler and she did. If she had *** with him while on the show. Word would have got out and MTV would have had footage of it. I don't think they had *** while on the show. I also do think Jess is intent on staying abstinent and not rush into things in any of her future romantic relationships.
In regards to the rumors about her sleeping with her cousins fiance. They are rumors and here say and shouldn't be taken as gospel. The rumors haven't been proven so we should let it roll off our backs.
Nevertheless, God doesn't expect anyone to be perfect. He just wants you to love him (Jesus) and try to do the right thing. I truly believe Jess is trying her best to do the right thing. I also believe Jess loves Jesus. No one should be trying to cast any stones. Judge not for you will be judged. None of us our perfect and we should try to throw her a bone and not deem her as fake because she's an imperfect Christian.
Nevertheless, God...
As soon as you mentioned God I figured this you were most likely Jessica and stopped reading your post. Just putting that out there.

You didn't even have to post that, You could've kept that in your head.
Nia is a straight up psycho. Maybe that's not the clinical definition, but she has some serious issues.
I can't believe how controlled Johnny was. I'm not saying he should've hit Nia - but if she did that to my gf, Nia would've been on the ground and restrained in a flash.
Ya'll don't even make sense. You all want to see reality, except for when it gets real. I don't fault production for anything. They were documenting and not getting involved. I really feel like these comments would be different if it was a fight between averey and anastasia than nia and averey. I'm going to be real about that. Words like "disgusting" or other extreme words always get used whenever it's a situation with a black cast member. Not calling racism but sheltered fear (just saying fear of seeing things on TV you don't see in your own real life) . I been on boards like this since Tubescan (remember that, lol ) I'm not saying that any of the cast members were right, I don't even think they think they were right, but it happened, the producers have the right to let what happens happen. If someone called the police then thats what happened and it should be shown. That's how it was in earlier earlier seasons. No one came out for the Tami and David situation form LA Season 2.
Art imitates life more than the other way around. If you want them to have a script for this show, then you probably should watch something else. Behavior will continue whether you watch or not. Now I get what you are saying, if we don't watch then show's like that won't get put out, but this could happen on any show at anytime. The Real World is not a show where things are always expected to get physical. It's just suppose to show what happened in those 3 months. Bad Girls Club is a different story. I think you are being a tad bit naive about what happens with different types of people.
Let's get the LA situation with Tami and David cleared up first. Irene, their roommate, was a cop and forced David to leave the house. Period.
In Portland, the police should have been called and production did not. In fact, the District Attorney was going to file charges against Nia, BMP,, MTV, Viacom and anyone else involved with the situation but ultimately decided it was not worth it. In the Real World, Nia would have been arrested and, based on the all unedited footage, been put in jail, on trial, and would probably still be serving her sentence. Another thing about the cops being not called both Jordan and Marlon had brought it up before in their earlier disagreement and were explicitly told that Production would not step in or call the police.
No sweetie, both Nia and Averey would have been arrested and charged a lot of money. I think your issue is just with Viacom, MTV, and big business, and it doesn't have anything to do with this situation.
No Challenge17 they wouldn't. Like I said I been on these boards for a long time, and the mid-west MTV audience spew so much venom when it comes to black cast members. They done it to Coral, Ayanna, Kameelah, etc. There may not be racism per say, but feelings of racial intimidation. So, people feel more comfortable spewing their feeling of hatred on a message board. Just my observation.

Patronizing someone like your their idiotic mother does not nothing but loses you even more respect. Actually, that's not the case at all. Unfortunately, you were not here when V1 was still on the site because he explained it from a lawyer's perspective. Only Nia would have been charged with aggravated assault for using a weapon, the hair dryer, and, while they both might have spent a night in jail to cool off, one of them would have been forced to leave. Who would have been charged with a lot of money? Production would have which is why they did not call the police. Averey and Johnny had already moved out by the time of the "house meeting" to vote on Nia. They were forced to return by Production.
Perhaps you have not listed to the bus driver interviews with Averey, Johnny, and Jordan where they talk about Nia doing drugs, threatening the cast and crew, trying to hire gangbangers to attack people and so on.
So, sweetie, make sure you get your ******* facts straight before you start spouting off.

You still don't know **** about what you are talking about regarding Nia and everything in Portland. None of the black cast members except perhaps for David actually assaulted someone in the fashion that Nia did.

Were Johnny and Averey not just as capable of calling the cops? If they could spend 30 minutes calling production, they could have called the police. People need to stop pretending that the producers are responsible for them, they're not children. Like the person above said, the producers are just documenting. Something like this could have happened just as easily with real-life roommates, and the situation would be handled by the roommates like adults. People get in fights in real life all the time, and handle the situation independently. Sometimes people choose to bring law enforcement into it, and sometimes they don't.
Likely Johnny and Averey chose not to call the police because, at the very least Averey could have got into legal trouble. At the end of the day, it was their decision.
