John is only like what 32? He's not that much older that most of cast-members. I think CT is close to or Older than him and we see how crazy he can be. I don't think age has much to do about it. He's just never really been in danger when it comes to these shows(Save for The Duel 1 and Gauntlet 3) So he's never felt the need to cause trouble because he's gonna get a Free ride to the Finals anyways.
Yea but unlike Johnny, CT actually has a real job (or I think he does) I dont think you can live off the challenges, if you win every time maybe you can but if you didnt then no imo you cant. Ive heard how much the appearance fee is and its basically nothing. Its a good month but definitely not a year salary, I can see why some cast members would just want to come for the appearance fee, the pay is a very good month but an even better pay for 1-2 weeks, if you know youre not going to win and wont make the final (which gets you a bit more cash) then why stay and waste your time when you can go back home to your job and make even more money on top of the appearance fee.

****, and what is that hosting spring break tours and wet T-shirt contests?
LMAO, and what is that hosting spring break tours and wet T-shirt contests?
lol hope not, I think he flips houses, not sure if he still does that, he was definitely doing something during his hiatus from MTV.
LMAO, and what is that hosting spring break tours and wet T-shirt contests?
haha that's all I see him do! I think he's a personal trainer as well
I feel like Johnny Does play the game relaxed now since he made his mark and is now one of the greatest of all time
Definitely not as a competitor but at playing the game? Yeah he is one of the best.
LMAO, and what is that hosting spring break tours and wet T-shirt contests?
That would be the greatest job ever...I could be a partner at a Law firm and not have anything on that.
I think Johnny got lucky in his stretch of wins because he made a couple of friends and the rookies coming out from RW:Brooklyn to RW:Las Vegas were some of the most brain dead bunch of followers in the history of the challenges. This is why no matter how much I hate Frank, at least he has a voice and he is not afraid to raise it.
Lets look at Johnny's wins
Island- really had to do nothing BC Kenny & Derrick had his back
Ruins- challengers sucked
Rivals- Wes sucked in the final & Kenny sucked all season
Exes- CT smokes to much killing his endurance
None of his wins are because of him

Not to mention Kenny/Wes had a better time on Rivals but lost because of the dumb head start rules

I'm not a big Johnny Bananas fan but you have to give credit wherr credit is due. After a couple "rookies go in to eliminations to prove themselves" losses he used that gimmick to his advantage. He's a slick talker who knew how to get the majority to do his bidding. Then when it was finallytime to prove himself he's done for 3 out of his 4 victories.
The Islamd - He had to get his key back. He accomplished that task
The Ruins - He beat Dunbar in the Final male elimination before the Finals
Rivals - He beat CT/Adam in the final male elimination
I believe Exs is the only time he didn't have to go into an elimination round
He plays the game and doesn't let the game play him

Johnny and Camila went against Mark and Robin in the final elimination round before the final and won.

Ah yes I always wondered why CT/Diem didn't just send Ty/Emily in
Ah yes I always wondered why CT/Diem didn't just send Ty/Emily in
They were aligned with johnny that season, and Johnny basically hinted that he would rather face mark and robin than ty and emily
Eh not really.
Showing up to these challenges and never going in or only going in once is pretty good. He gets a lot of people to have his back and he comes up with good strategies to complete missions. (Inferno 3 the giraffe search, he figured out the pattern to the giraffe, Rivals 2 not swinging on knight and preston eventually led to zach and trey's elimination.) As much as he is an ********* you got to give credit where credit is due.
The only other person I can think that plays a better game than him is Mark Long.

Darrel comes to mind. Stay out of everyones business and then take the win home because your one of the best competitors there (if not the best)
Johnny is a good competitor no doubt. I've acknowledged all of his wins and genius plans even if some of those plans was just having close friends.
He's good but he's falling off.
CT, Darrell, Landon, and Kenny are all better than him though.
Mark Long and Wes are in the same category in terms of athletic ability as Johnny (and maybe even Evan).

You can't fall off if you were never at the top in the first place.
I love how one bad season for Johnny and people are already chopping him down a notch. He's still one of the better competitors to touch the game. He's not athletically the best, but he's the most well-rounded out of anyone.
Frank is playing quite the sidekick this season.

Frank has been better than him in almost every challenge.

I'm saying from a social standpoint. In their interviews, Johnny does ALL the talking. All of it.
Johnny is probably my favorite to ever be on this show. But man, has he aged... On Exes he looked pretty good but he looks awful. He needs to cut his hair or something. I thought he was really attractive on his original season.

If I were you, I'd look for a younger favorite.
Perhaps Johnny will transition to a new skill set and will soon release his own version of Oscar Hammerstein II's "Old Man River.":devilish:

I dont know what it is, if its just the hair or what. He just looks hideous, like a fat ugly woman with a bad hair cut, at least comb that rat nest when doing your interviews. Not to be mean but for someone thats always making fun of other people's looks he is easily the ugliest guy there, JEK always say Wes is ugly but imo Wes is hotter than Johnny especially when he had a nice body. Johnny needs to loose like 5 pounds and cut his **** hair (Wes also needs to go back to shaving his head)
My guess is that he didn't train that hard for this Challenge. He saw the cast and was like, "Yup. Making it to the end."
Bull look at his muscles, he trained, he always trains. What else does he do with his life? He probably just smoked too much or maybe he's the one on steroids. Realistically though we havent seen a challenge where the objective was run back and forth or swim as fast as you can, so maybe his poor stamina was hidden
