I think it's far more likely that CT saw the live format as his opportunity to turn the tables on MTV which has tried to make relationships from nothing but dust bunnies in recent years -- all for ratings. Personally, I'm not a fan of CT, but I was cheering for him last night while simultaneously laughing at Johnny Moseley and feeling sorry for @Scooter5000 who must have been ****ting bricks in the control room.
Question: Did the Afterbuzz geniuses even have a clue that Diem had announced her departure from the challenges?
Oh, it was definitely hilarious to see how quickly CT was able to take over and watch Johnny Moseley fail repeatedly to get a real answer out of Diem and CT.
It seems like the Afterbuzz hosts didn't know that Diem announced her departure and Nehemiah, their guest last night, seemed unaware as well.

That about sums it all up!

Apparently none of them real People or vevmo. (We had the info before People, but they were the ones paying Diem, not us, so they were first.)
I'll admit it was a bad joke in poor taste but oh well. As for the Francis comment. Psyco - Lighten up Francis - YouTube try watching something besides reality tv Francis.
You're pretty obnoxious. You make sure to let everyone on here know how important you think you are and that you are some kind of "reality show insider." Yet you never really dish any dirt or give any inside information when it comes down to it.
I don't think I'm important at all. I'm just old and well-traveled in the business, and I think you and a few others are full of teenage ****. No worries, I turn into a pumpkin on Oct, 1.
I thought the reunion was a mess. I'm sure it's a difficult thing to do live, but it was just poorly executed and barely anything was addressed. Also, it's gross that MTV seems to be promoting the Frank/Knight altercation. Lastly, I wonder if CT's approach to Jonny Moseley's questions was his way of not having the CT/Diem relationship further exploited. It seems like CT thought he was being protective of Diem? Idk.
You know I didn't like how CT came at Johnny. I mean he knew that he and Diem was going to be asked about their relationship and if he is going to sit there and say none of your business and attacking the producers for doing there job then maybe he shouldn't be ******* with Diem in the first place. Don't get pissy for things YOU laid out there.

I see your point. I guess it comes off as strange to the viewers for CT to act the way he did when his life has seemingly played out on TV but it's been said before he's pretty private about his "real" life.
V1man pointed out that it was CT's way of turning the tables on MTV. The cast has few opportunities to have control in these types of situations and I guess CT took advantage of the fact that he could have control and didn't give MTV what they wanted.

This thread, and any other thread on this site, is not the proper platform to share your personal feelings about other members. FYI, your few posts here wreak of antagonizing intent, and not just towards V1, either. Not exactly any legs to stand on there, bud.
Infractions are going out towards people who think they can get away with such comments. No if, ands or buts. Get along nicely please, and stop starting **** in threads. I'm tired of having to clean up those comments. If you want to ask someone about the show, it is best to ask them privately and politely via PM (although they're not obligated to answer you anyway, this isn't an interrogation room in case no one noticed that). I know anonymity on the internet is the ****ing bees knees, but I'd like to think we're all over the age of 16. Let's act like it, please.

Ah, that's reality TV for you. Fights, altercations and hook-ups are always points of interest for reality shows these days. I mean, why else keep inviting CT back? It's because he's known for being a loose cannon and he's wildly unpredictable.

If that's the case then he could've NOT given what MTV wanted while being cool about it. Just give some BS answers to the questions if he wanted to keep quiet about what's going on with him and Diem. There was no need to go off on Johnny. He could've handled that better.
Knight is immature in my opinion. i actually thought frank handled the situation mature.
I agree with you that Knight is immature, but Frank is equally immature. Frank acts like he's completely above all the petty fights and arguments when in fact he's not. Most of the rivalries he has with other castmates were started by something really nasty he said. I also remember him trying to get Dustin to hit him on Battle of the Seasons and then whining that Dustin should have been sent home after he pushed him. This guy is a major instigator. If Frank doesn't want to deal with people trying to get into physical fights with him then perhaps Frank should be more mature himself and stop using low blows (like telling someone to go OD on drugs) when he's arguing with people.

OR... having been around the block a few times, he could just know that's the way these things work. Asking/answering questions about the hookups and shenanigans that go on during these shows is part of the deal. It's a big chunk of what makes them interesting. It's a big chunk of what lets these people travel to exotic locations, party, and make a bit of money playing silly games.
I thought it looked/sounded like he'd had a few and was just being a bad drunk... more than anything else.
I don't care what CT's intentions were. He was rude as **** to a person that was just doing his job. He definitely lost major points with me last night.
The entire reunion was a cluster****. Everyone talking over each other, stroking Frank's ego, not answering questions etc. It seemed like nothing was addressed besides Ct/Diem for the 38274647 th time, and Frank.
This Reunion was so bizarre everyone was talking over everyone Knight slapping Frank felt like it was set up it was very poorly done and BMP should never do a live reunion EVER.
CT attacking Johnny while he is just doing his job was whack Ct you should know better..

Yeah what you said was what I was trying to get at.
You worded it perfectly.
Personally- I don't like Emily anymore. Although I'll give her credit for her athleticism and the marketing strategies she uses for her company. There has been a change in her, I'm not sure what it is or how to explain it, but I see it in how she handles herself as I saw in the reunion. Cutthroat was the last season I still had admiration, but in later seasons it faded.
About the reunion... I felt bad for Jonny. CT looked really strange and it may have been what others have pointed out.
Finally, I wonder what happened to half of the stuff that was shown on trailers?
Emily & Jordan--Exes 2
That team would kill. Emily would have destroyed Exes if she had a decent partner. Ty looks like he's programmed to destroy but has absolutely no heart.

I know what you mean about Emily, she stole our hearts over in Cutthroat because she was the elite athlete that was also shy and reserved. Now she's starting to act pretentious and even though I'm no fan of Knight, I wasn't feeling Emily with how she carried herself in the reunion. Still, we can't deny her athletic prowess, if I were picking teams, she'd be my first girl pick without a doubt.
I hate when the casts get on the hosts like this. Johnny is literally fed his lines by production, it's not his fault the questions are horrible.
True that. The cast can get on Moseley all they want but at the end of the day, he beats all of them at life. As much as I love MTV's The Challenge, it's still an amateur competition made up of mostly Average Joe's, while Moseley is an Olympic Gold Medalist.
I may be alone in this but I enjoyed the Nightmare Island Final. It certainly wasn't as glamorous as Rivals 1 and Exes Finals but it kind of went back in some fashion to the old challenge style finals. I didn't have an issue with them staying in Thailand for the Final instead of traveling to a new location. Watching them run in to the giant bamboo forest looking thing with the Rivals 2 flag on it every time they deposited and idol was pretty cool. I'm seeing some hate for it but I personally was rather entertained by it.
i am trying to figure out why people are hating on emily all she did was talk when the reunion first came on, stop knight from hitting her friend and then talked a little more for a couple of minutes thats it oh well i still like her just because she was mad for like a minute she is suddenly not likable anymore the people who should have just came to the reunion are emily, paula,ct,wes, johnny, frank, camila, aneesa, diem and jordan those are the only people who i like and can stand.

noahh, always first consider the source. None of these critics know Emily. They have seen her for fewer than two hours of actual linear time on their TV screens and less then five minutes during the live reunion. Personally, I wish she'd put a Full Nelson on Knight so I could see the full affect and size of her massive biceps.

Moseley was hired to be a host not a has-been Olympian. His job was to steer the show from beginning to end. He failed. I respect his past laurels, and not at all his hosting ability, particularly for a live show. If you are going to do a live show, then you had better be working with pros in the business. What were Jackie and Scooter thinking? They will all be wearing band-aids on those hosting wounds for a long time.

I'm curious to know how long of a run did they do in total. that couldn't have been easy in that scorching heat.
This!!! as a long time lurker.. Frank got what he deserved .. talking so much smack on twitter. I like how people say Frank is civilized for not fighting and we are a civilized culture? lol yea were watching reality tv where people get drunk, fight and hook up and we are entertained so civilized....I was hoping they brought up frank and ct with all those tweets and smack talking to ct ..
Indeed. It's naieve to think Frank can say the things he says and not at some point suffer for it. It's not about being civilized because plenty of rational people do the same thing after a hyperemotional ******* keeps running his mouth.
Anyone think that Knight's performance last night was his attempt to become the new CT? Sort of trading the Bad Boy from Boston with Wisconsin's Wild Man?
Even if it was it failed hilariously. Knight doesn't have CT's flair, he always sounds half asleep, and he's a follower.

I'm not "hating" on Emily. I just am not liking her anymore. I'm not saying it only because of the reunion, but because of her past Challenge seasons, and I used to follow her on Twitter, but started not liking how she carried herself is all. I may not know her, but like V1Man said, I'm only judging her by her time on TV, radio interviews, and Twitter.
