Is this an analogy, or just a really shallow reason to dislike her?
Neither I just can't stand her thinking she's hot **** in the promos and trailer we've seen so far.
keke Palmer tweeted about the show! she have almost 1.5 million followers. SO free promotion:

Honestly I really dislike this idea to change the format for the show. I would rather them just call it something else because its no longer The Real World. The show use to be about people from different backgrounds living together and growing. The show is now about the drama created from living with your ex.

I think people need to understand that this show hasn't been "real" in a long time...and when you think about it, It probably was never real in the first place. That said So this change doesn't really bother me that much. It will probably be the best season in years.

I'm excited for this season based on all the fights in the trailer, I love conflict.

Overall they could have just threw in 7 new roomates and I'm sure that would have caused a bigger house explosion , Imagine 7 newly single RW then 7 more newly singles move in , I mean these exes are in the past for a reason and the producers should have respected that but oh well , And honestly they should have just brought Hailey , Lauren and Brian in the house because their exes current situation Asley C. and Jenna are useless in the grand scheme of things.
According to my Guide, MTV isn't doing a marathon for the season premiere like they do most of their other shows. There seems to be a good amount of buzz so hopefully it'll translate to good ratings.

I think they've just done some bad casting the past couple of seasons. I don't think they needed to change the format. They need to do better casting imo. San diego why was Alex casted? No offense she was just boring. Pricilla was too young and couldn't even go out. St Thomas Swift was beyond boring and annoying. Brandon really didn't add much. Latoya didn't really add anything either.. Portland wasn't that bad, just Nia to me ruined it.
Latoya was great much better then Marie , I can't stand Marie

After 28 seasons and most reality shows doing that now days. Sadly, people would preferred to see BGC over Real world. Adding their exes will attract new viewers, especially the demographic MTV wants. Bad casting and the same tiring old format made the ratings go down.

She was funny, entertaining, and a great character who I loved to watch. I totally disagree with the statement that she didn't add anything.

IF that boy wasn't gay nobody would've cared. And Heather was like a little lap dog.

LOL it was the overuse of same locations as well. It was never real.

She was the most entertaining on that particular season. Like is this even real life?
According to my Guide, MTV isn't doing a marathon for the season premiere like they do most of their other shows. There seems to be a good amount of buzz so hopefully it'll translate to good ratings.
so not fair.
I'm not sure why everyone is so hype about that season. It did nothing for me, except introduce Cooke.
It was the last season that had high ratings and maintain them... Like some people say ratings speak for itself.
Ruined it? Are you even serious? She was the most entertaining on that particular season. Like is this even real life?
I agree that Nia pretty much made Portland interesting along with Jordan. The biggest mistake made with Portland was making the promos center around Nia just to bring her in after a couple episodes.
I think the promos for this season has been pretty ******. I can't be the only one tired of seeing Jenny's fake jaw drop.
I didn't dislike Latoya or anything but the drama between her and swift was pretty unbearable to watch. That is the only time she was really shown. They didn't show her much, she had some funny parts with Marie but other than that I always forget about her IMO. and Yes I thought Nia ruined Portland. They def need a replacement besides Joi but it shouldn't have been Nia. I was rewatching Portland the other day and Nia was annoying to watch. You could tell she was trying to put on a show for the cameras. She was constantly trying to make a storyline for herself.
Yeah Nia was so forced and annoying, I can't stand her... Biggest mistake with Portland, and I think recent seasons in general is casting like most have said but also casting people that are too similar. Did Portland really need Jessica AND Bird, SD2 had Alex and Ashley, and then Nate and Zach (even Sam was similar to these two), STT had Robb and Trey, and I actually really like Robb. Swift was just terrible casting plain and simple, like a male, less hostile Nia, thirsty for some kind of storyline. Priscilla's effectiveness as a character was really limiting thanks to her age and her being so soft spoken. Also, Latoya was a refreshing cast member, witty, charming, smart, and really beautiful... Love that **** girl. Since this is the SF2 thread I'll toss something in about it. All of the women but the Katie look alike are forgettable for me, and the fact that there are so many people from California in a California city, who are also aspiring models/actors leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
IT is Katie that's the big season surprise not the exes
Sorry for ruining the surprise for everyone.
will they ever go back to the normal real world? because i dont think you can bring everybody exes in every season it will make them feel uncomfortable
will they ever go back to the normal real world? because i dont think you can bring everybody exes in every season it will make them feel uncomfortable
I'd assume they will but maybe add in a little twist like inviting in 2 replacements or voting one person out.
Maybe they'll get really crazy next season and bring in everyone's mom.
