That argument is never going to stop because we'll never know who is the best competitor. Besides. Does it really matter who the best is?
lol true they probably won't ever end. I just think people think it's fun to imagine two top competitors who have never faced off finally going up against one another to prove who is the best of the best.
I thought Dustin did great in the 2 seasons we saw him in. I personally thought we didn't even get to see his full potential, so I wouldn't be suprised if he won a few challenges and elimination rounds and narrowly won the final challenge. I don't think he'd be this big beast of a competitor, but I could see him being an underestimated underdog who takes home the gold. The same with Cohutta.
I've never been impressed with Dustin...not physically and not socially
That's 2 other people though...I am sure Emily would do another one too, but she can coast to any final she wants now where she is at. This crop of women is basically the majority of what we should expect to see for the rest of the challenge and the exes girls and maybe 1 or 2 more.but that would be 4-5 differences tops. My point is that if these girls can't make it competitive, their is really nothing the show can do...Theresa/Nany/Jonna need to step up to make the girls side competitive is my point
Yeah you're right about that. I have no right to complain about them basically handing Laurel the check based on former performances. If these girls really want to WIN a challenge they have the capability to get in shape like Emily and be a top dog. Especially the girls you listed who have great potential already. And like someone else said, if they still did team challenges a lot like they did back then, i'm positive one of those 3 would have won 1 by now.

I would love for these two to really shock me and take out some of the more impressive men, but I just can't see it. Hoping I'm actually wrong though haha.

I think they will, well not sure about Nany, but let's see. I'm sure there are other females who can compete, who'd love to do a Challenge, but don't get cast.

Nany and Jonna will never be good in eliminations. If the shows needs them to be able to beat girls like Laurel they're screwed.
The best thing that could happen this season is a final 4 of Laurel, Camila, Theresa & Jonna with Camila & Jonna making the final against either Laurel or Theresa because those two (Camila & Jonna) could possibly crush a final.
They really need to get girls like Sarah & Ashley (SD2) back because they have great potential even if they're boring or people are tired of them.

Id actually like Nia to do well, even though i am not a fan of her AT ALL. Just to add competition. Camila is probably the biggest head to head threat for Laurel on this show preseason rankings wise. i'd have Laurel 1, Camila 2. Also yes to Ashley K from San Diego 2, she has been doing cross fit a lot with Tyler/Frank etc and well she is very attractive :)
I like the girls side and I appreciated it more after watching the first 35 because competition wise they are not great but I think as the season goes on they will get better and more competitive which I hope they take with them in seasons to come because they are pretty much the future cast members for upcoming challenges with a few others not on Free Agents and the upcoming Real World people. At this point its really not even worth arguing about. And these girls are funny and will bring drama, I think that is what BMP looked for ultimately.
As for the guys, a couple weak links is always okay because they leave early and the strong ones stay longer and things then get even BETTER!

Camila's probably proved the most other than Laurel but I think Theresa's her biggest competition. The girl's an athlete. Camila's just a fighter/competitor.

Do you think Nia could ever turn her reptuation around from all the people that hate her now? I think quite a few people have matured from their original seasons to becoming fan favorites.
I remember HAAAAATING Rachel on The Gauntlet I and how her and Veronica treated Sarah. And I loved Rachel by the time she was on Exes. (She was cool on The Duel II as well but she was a bit boring).

Can she, yes...Will she think the fans want to see "hurricane NIa" over real Nia, unfortunately Yes. So i doubt she will get too many new fans, but she has her own fan base even if it's small compared to challenge people.
I keep an open mind on everyone so i will give her a chance.

This is a competition. Casting only one really good girl is pure stupidity. Funny/drama won't keep people watching if the outcome is predictable

True, I didn't think about that. She'll probably continue to play that role. But I personally don't mind since I loved it! haha

I'd like to see her, too. She seems to be in even better shape and has some potential.

I agree. This isn't I Love Money, we have a huge demographic that watch for the competition instead of the funny one-liners.

Sarah said no to Free Agents so thats not BMP's fault, she was in school. As for Ashley... I like her but... she's just really boring and shes too pretty to be boring. I rather see Emily before her and I don't even like Emily!
Also, where is everyone getting this Jonna would be good in a final thing at? Running wise yes but eating **** no! And puzzles, well tonights episode will prove that she can't solve them all like LJ from Survivor. She would get 3rd or 4th period. Getting there is her problem! She would only make it if she was in an Exes 2 and was partnered with Zach.

Might be wrong, but I remember someone mentioning Camila swimming in college. Again could be wrong though.

LOL I know this isn't the thread to talk about it. But I think Myamee was one of the most shocking winners i've ever seen in Realiy tv. I remember the first day when they had to jump off the boat she wrapped her weave in plastic wrap because she didn't want to get it wet, and she ended up winning the final against 2 guys. That was just so random to me. Too bad it doesn't work like that on The Challenge :(.

Who cares if she's boring? Not everyone needs to bring drama
Yes, Sarah & Emily were unavailable--even more reason to include another strong competitor
Jonna crushed the eating in Seasons. If Jonna makes the final of Seasons with Derek they win

Don't yell me yell at BMP! I was just saying that I liked the girls cast and why. Is not okay for me to like them?!
Yes, casting Laurel was stupid but Sarah said no, Emily said no, Paula dropped out, and KellyAnne who knows. I mean they had to the best they could.
Might be wrong, but I remember someone mentioning Camila swimming in college. Again could be wrong though.
She may have been a swimmer (she certainly can swim) but she's not a true athlete. I'd take her on my team any time because she'll fight to the last second but she's really not athletic.
I think Jonna is a smart person and I think she is in the top tier when it would come to puzzles against other females. I just think her problem is competing under pressure.
In Rivals I she did great coming in from behind against 2 vetearns while the entire cast was rooting against her and Jasmine.
But in Seasons she was freaking out when people were yelling at her in the final dome, and she also seemed to freak out in the jungle in Rivals II when she was swinging her sword. If she can learn to block everyone out, I think she'd be great.
Zach would be tough in eliminations, but he isn't really that great IMO. Dustin and Cohutta are good, but they aren't very tough competition.

I think Camila could give Laurel a good run for her money, but I agree. I love the females this season--personality wise.
And you know even in eliminations zach is regular, the only good thing he has is his size, I agree that dustin and cohutta are good.
Don't yell me yell at BMP! I was just saying that I liked the girls cast and why. Is not okay for me to like them?!

I didn't yell at you--this is you overreacting as per usual.
You can like whatever you want
Casting Laurel wasn't stupid. Not including more competitors or possible competitors is the problem. It is all about mix
lol I kind've get nervous chatting on here about this season because it seems 85% of ya'll have read spoilers and some people unknowingly hint things about what happens. So I think i'm gonna take a break. Have fun and see ya'll in 2 1/2 hours when the episode is over!

Rivals II can be written off as the dumbest elimination in history
Seasons she didn't have enough composure...that's the only time we've seen that from her so far.

I beg to differ! They would have done horrible in that tire thing! San Diego would have still won with them in second.
And yes not everyone needs to bring drama but they still needs to have an interesting personality. She could bring great competition and I believe she did say yes to this challenge and they didn't cast her.
And you know even in eliminations zach is regular, the only good thing he has is his size, I agree that dustin and cohutta are good.
Good? Sure...okay...if we mean average
But does anyone really think they can win this season?
I think both are likable and some make them out to be better than they are.
