What's funny to me is I've been saying this for a while now. And people continue to blame his partners but if you look at each mission he has competed in, he's always been average. Fans kept saying he'll shine in an individual set up but I haven't seen it. And we're 7 missions deep.
I agree he is showing he is an average competitor but I don't think he really tries. I feel like if he actually tried he would be one of the better males. He just doesn't care that much and plays a very different game.

If you don't try you're not much of a competitor in my book. He's not versatile enough to be a strong competitor in this game

I hope that isn't true. I don't think it is but it would really suck since they continue to invite him every season. What a waste of a spot for someone who's just gonna throw challenges and give everyone else the win.

I explained this before. He isn't trying not to just throw the challenges but it is to play the game he is playing. He isn't trying his best to win because he doesn't want to be labeled as a threat and then he isn't loosing. He is trying to stay in the middle and just use the fact that he is well liked to stay in the game. It isn't that he doesn't want to make it to the finals he just doesn't care enough to give it his all every challenge to be targeted as a threat. He knows Bananas is a threat because he wins and same with Laurel. Leroy even said on Rivals 2 him and Ty were trying to just stay average every challenge. It is just the way Leroy plays the game.
I love Leroy as a person but I think eventually he needs to just try to win and save himself. I think he thinks it worked on Rivals to lay low and he made it to the end but it isn't going to work every challenge because every challenge is different.
I think leroy is one of the very few people that take the challenges as a really cool experience, if you listen to his interviews he is always saying how blessed he is to be on the shows, how he is glad to meet new people and how he can travel to different places that he would never go on his real life.
I think leroy is like an Isaac in the sense that he is there to enjoy the challenge and the chance to win some money I dont think he is throwing the challenges, I think he is more flying under the radar, pretty much everybody like leroy so that strategy seems to work for him.
It is interesting that the person that gets called out into the elimination round wins. In the duel 2 Evan won all of his elimination rounds being called out. Evan called out CT twice and lost twice. Bananas vs Jordan.

Your post made me realize that of the guys, Bananas is the only one actually voted into elimination to win (and twice). Since Chet, Dustin, Brandon, and Swift all lost. For the girls it's the opposite--5 out of 7 eliminations were won by the person voted in. Only two that lost were Nia and Latoya. So Cara is the only girl to win after being put into elimination by the draw (and also twice, weird).
Even though I know that's not what your post was about it just made me think of that for some reason... sorry I'm tired.
So what exactly happens when the winning male and female don't agree on who to send in?
Apparently when Zach didn't agree with Devyn, Devyn said that TJ threatened that she would be thrown into the elimination, although I have a feeling TJ doesn't have the power to say that. I just have a feeling they force the dude to pick the dude and the chick to pick the chick, but that's just a guess.

I have no doubt TJ was told that by production
For folks wondering the finale will air June 26th, followed by the reunion with the top 16 competitors.

As long as they don't use Moseley again. He's a terrible host and doesn't know to deal with difficult responses from the cast. Please let it be Maria Menounos or Mark Long. Also, no more of the stupid Girl/Guy Code people. They don't know how to host at all.

I disagree. Nessa was a great host for Ex-Plosion. I thoroughly enjoyed her hosting stint.
But really - a live reunion? Did they not learn the first time?
Wait it is a live reunion again...
According to Cara Maria and another cast member I talk privately to the reunion is going to be film weeks before it airs, I don't know why it says live on the press release:

This would be the Top 16 most likely attending the Reunion. Don't like Jess but props her body gets better and better every time:

I didn't watch the reunion for Ex-Plosion. That season wore me out and I was sick of them by the end. Maybe I'll have to check that out now.
What is this challenge mania about if anybody knows? I'm looking forward to it just because of Johanna. I like that we are seeing a few cast members we haven't seen in a while such as Susie and Brad on the after shows and now Johanna.
