Hes just good at climbing ropes.
Also he was the one that wanted to quit rivals the whole time apparently, NOT mike
1. Leroy is good at other things than just climbing ropes.
2. Yes, Leroy wanted to quit on Rivals... but did he? nope. And mind you, almost any person that's in some sort of physical shape mentally defeats themselves before they are physically incapable of fulfilling things that require endurance.
To me there are 4 stages a competitor could be. Bad, developing, good, and the legends. Leroy is good but people like Bananas and CT are legends.
Highly doubt (based on my impression of Leroy in real life) that he actually cares about being a "good competitor" or a "legend" on these shows. I still find his confessional in the first episode about it being a free vacation/being able to******** if you want/free alcohol rather amusing.
I think if Leroy thought he was the best athlete or could beat the zach/ct/jb's, than he wouldn't play middle ground and have the "just don't get last" mentality. That mentality is for people who know they are not better than others. He is a very good climber, and he is probably middle to upper level in terms of strength. Haven't really seen his speed much, his endurance is questionable. Overall that's not great. If he decided to not just lay low and just "last" and went for the big dogs right away and made moves, he may not even make it as far as he does now who knows. But i'd love to see him try and to see him do well because i legit like him and have met him before and chatted with him before.
Leroy is humble though and I don't think he's oblivious like Jordan was this past season. And mind you, he wouldn't go for the "big dogs" seeing as he's friends with C.T. and Johnny Bananas outside of the game. Trying to coast to the end doing the least amount of work possible is practical in my opinion. C.T. had the better strategy on the wall this season, so Leroy got out played on that elimination, but considering how he played he was rather close to the end.
And mind you, it's not as if Leroy was anyone's first choice to go against or throw in.
Dont forget Physical eliminations against guys half his size he's good at them also. I think he'd be beast in a physical one against someone his own size to like bananas.

He didn't quit pretty much because Mike pushed him to keep going since he didn't want to look like a quitter
He was having a hard time beating Cohutta. Bananas would win
*** are you talking about he destroyed Cohutta......
I love Cohutta but that was a super easy win for Leroy.

you crazy? That was like jasmine vs. laurel's elimination tbh

darn you beat me to it...
Hey guys what do y'all think about the elimination between ct and Leropy that Leroy unfortunately lost. Do you think Leroy would have a better chance against CT in oppenheimer or Balls In? Also he was pretty close to beating CT cuz Zach said himself he was shocked at all the dust and borken wall bits flying in the air.
I think theres a chance Leroy is stronger or just as strong as CT. cuz in that T-Bone type challenge CT said," Kill first, ask questions later." when he saw Roylee coming up on his blind side. But Leroy took the hit pretty well and in fact it was Ct who was pushed back.

Leroy is not as strong as CT.
And taking football style hits is an entirely different ball-game. I do believe Leroy could truck CT and knock him down easily so long as he uses proper form and has the right momentum going into the hit. Leroy isn't too much smaller than CT.

According to Leroy he got "murdered". Not sure how saying dust flying through the air meant it would be close either? I think the wall was really the game that gave Leroy the best chance. He is a good climber and it eliminates the strength and size advantage CT has
Ate you crazy Leroy is not as strong as CT. Multiple cast members have confirmed that CT is the strongest and overall best competitor. And what are you talking about CT and Leroy collided and they both got pushed back like 5 inches and Leroy gad the advantage.

Leroy keeps it real most of the time. And the wall was not explicitly his best chance. Balls In would've probably been his best bet.

CT isn't the best competitor.

I disagree he would have a better shot at balls in. Plays into CT's obvious size and strength advantage.

You've never played American football. It's really that simple.

Lol, ok. You're saying the bigger stronger guy does not have an advantage in that elimination?
See Leroy vs Cohutta

No, I'm saying that your notion that Leroy would not have a better chance in Balls In is based on a misconception on what is necessary to actually win Balls In.
Leroy vs. Cohutta was a clear mismatch in physicality, as well as other areas.
Lol so who is. We all know CT is better then Bananas, Leroy is mediocre, and Zack cant compete in a final.
It depends what you mean by "better" and in what way, and Leroy's track record is pretty good for being "mediocre" to your standards. And we'll also pretend Zack didn't win Battle of the Seasons, which would've required him to compete in a final.

Explain then. You think Leroy is faster? I don't see any advantage he has for an elimination like balls in. CT is bigger, stronger, faster, and more aggressive
CT is the best overall competitor. Multiple people have stated he is the strongest in the house, he is a beast in challenges, he is feared in eliminations, and is a beast in finals. Oh well CT died in exes and no he dint die he did 90 percent of the work and he took a rest for a couple of minutes.

CT had the advantage in both eliminations, I don't think you're understanding that CT having an advantage does not mean Leroy would still not have a better chance relative to the wall.
I don't know CT in person, nor have I seen him run in person, so I can't comment on who's "faster".
That said, you can put your bias aside, I think I could personally beat CT in Balls In, since we are speculating and he's "bigger", "stronger", and more "aggressive". I think you should rewatch that game be played in elimination and then come back to me when you wake up.

I vaguely remember (ironically) on Rivals 1 that Leroy berated Tyler about them treating CT like he's some type of God.
He's not the best.

CT is fast see all three tbone type missions he won...... Leroy might have done better but Leroy is a great climber so wrecking wall was a great chance for him.

It's not an issue of CT being fast, there just hasn't been a way to claim who's faster (not that it matters in Balls In, really)
But that's the entire point, it would've been far closer. We get to use our 20/20 hindsight bias in this discussion. CT not only is stronger, which helps on the wall, but he had a strategy going into it, it was open and shut win for him.

I'm saying CT is bigger stronger and faster so no matter what elimination he would win against Leroy. I'd love to watch them go at it in balls in tho.

I have a strong feeling no one here on these boards was or is an athlete. I also have a feeling I'm the only one on these boards who does not have this mystical crystal ball that has the answers to al the "what if's" "what could" "what should" and "what would" questions that are raised.
Your bias makes it a tad difficult to carry a discussion without face palming.
