Why do people think Nia can't solve puzzles she graduated with honors and her favorite subject was math
Cara Maria, I believe, graduated Summa Cum Laude and doesn't know what a continent is.
But Cara is fine with puzzles, proved to be multiable times.
She's iffy at best. On Free Agents, CT solved the puzzle for them in that last challenge. She's also said in interviews that the reason she and Darrell lost on Fresh Meat 2 is because they had no clue how to do any of the puzzles and took the maximum time at each station...and those were two of the most common types of challenge puzzles...sodoku and tangrams. She did get a couple in the Rivals 2 finale though, but overall she hasn't been great, just like I wouldn't call Bananas good at puzzles just because he won a couple on Free Agents.
My point was more that regardless of where they went to college or how they did while they were there, you can still be good or bad at puzzles.
Someone in the other thread said Johnny R. followed somebody. Does this mean the Luck of The Irish ran out? Or was being the smallest team left with those big dogs a disadvantage?

If they're out, probably a combo of both. Averey is probably the smallest girl left next to Jonna, which puts her at a slight disadvantage. Rarely does beginners luck follow into the next challenge, see Leroy, he made the final his first season without seeing an elimination and has not been able to see it through since.
I wouldn't mind Johnny/Averey being eliminated. I'm kinda indifferent on them as a team and I'm not sure if they make for great TV anyway. Glad Jordan/Sarah & Zach/Jonna seem to be safe, hopefully Wes/Theresa are too but I have a feeling they could be in exile if not already eliminated.
Hopefully, by tomorrow I'll know whether or not Nia is back, but I don't think so. She's had no social media activity all day and sh's been getting a lot of metions on twitter since she left. So maybe Jay/Jenna, Leroy/Nia, Bananas/Nany, Jordan/Sarah & Wes/Theresa are left. It would be shocking though if Zach/Jonna were gone.

Does anyone think Jordan will go after Johnny (I refuse to use that nickname of his) like he did on Free Agents? I realize that Sarah Poppins wants everyone to like her but if Jordan wants to throw in Johnny/Nany, do you think Sarah could stop it from happening? I know a lot of people thought Jordan was stupid for doing what he did on Free Agents but I admired the fact that someone finally had the stones to make a big move against someone who's a guaranteed lock for every final and, most often, a guaranteed lock for a win. I'm tired of people complaining about the big dogs running things AFTER a challenge is over but not doing a thing to change that WHILE the challenge is happening. I hope Jordan or Wes steps up to the plate this time around and calls out Johnny because if they don't, nobody else will even consider it.
The problem, if you're anti Bananas, is that of the remaining teams (aside from Johnny/Averey), at least one person is a close "real life" friend to Johnny or Nany. He's close friends with Sarah (they shot videos climbing together pre-Exes 2), Leroy, and Theresa and, as Pink told us, Nany/Jonna was the most solid girl alliance going into the game. Now if push came to shove and it was necessary would some of these people probably make these moves? Sure...but if Sarah/Jordan had the option between Johnny/Nany or Wes/Theresa I'd bet pretty heavily on them going for W/T first...I think they're friendly with those two, but nearly as close as Sarah is with Johnny. Same goes for Wes/Theresa...there are other teams (Jay/Jenna, Jordan/Sarah, Johnny/Averey), that they aren't as tied to. If I were there with one of my real life friends, regardless of whether he or she had won 5 times already, I would still pick off other people first so long as that option existed.
You know I just thought of something....Backpack has so many friends on these things and people on this show have a tendency to not go against their friends. That's probably how Backpack always gets to the end. He becomes friends with almost everyone on these things so that they don't go against him and would make it hard for the few that would take a stab at him. They would get targeted immediatly making it not smart to get rid of him. If that's the game it's Smart. But It doesn't make for a good Show.

"Always" is a heavy word...he's had some solid challenge and elimination wins at the end of a few seasons that have done it for him...to say him making it to the end is 100% based on friendships is a little unfair...he's a good athlete who's good at most of the things that the show throws at him.
If you think about it though...EVERYONE is attempting to play that kind of game, JEK has just been more successful than most. It's funny how some of us think they're such scum and have screwed so many people over, but if you look at their social media, it seems like they're actually friends with almost everyone outside the shows and then there are a lot of "fan favorites" who other cast members aren't big fans of outside of the show. Pretty ironic.

I think it would be a really tight race between Jordan/Sarah and Bananas/Nany. I can see Jordan doing really well in a final plus he has the best girl at his side. Just rewatch episode 2 of Free Agents and realized that Jonna doesn't work well when someone scream at her like Banans was and knowing Zach tantrums it wouldn't surprised me...On Paper they look good , but team dynamic I have a feeling is going to be bad and a dysfuctional one lol
