I think it's so weird how Theresa has never made a final because she is pretty decent competitor compared to the other girls. She's just had bad luck.
Fresh Meat: paired with Ryan. She was a goner from the start.
Cutthroat: taken out by Tori because Tina let her win.
Rivals: Taken out by Laurel & Cara Maria, the second strongest team there.
Rivals 2: Paired with Jasmine. She was a goner.
Free Agents: taken out by the strongest girl there, Laurel.
Battle of the Exes 2- taken out by the biggest team there, Leroy & Nia.
why can't she slide by a season like Nany and Devyn. It's so irritating seeing mediocre competitors(Devyn) make a final instead of someone who worked hard for it.
I don't really think Theresa has had as much bad luck as others. On FM2 yeah she was with Ryan who sucks but it was because of him that they made it so far and stayed out of exhile. If she had any other partner besides Kenny and Landon chances are she would have been thrown in more often. Cutthroat she got screwed but Rivals and Free Agents she lost fair and square. I think it's a cop out to say well she lost to one of the best competitors there. The point of the game is to win and she lost to someone better than her fair and square so for me the only times she's been unlucky was Cutthroat ,Rivals 2 and maybe FM2. Any other time she lost fair and square. It's not like she was someone like Sarah who was unwillingly taken out multiple times. Theresa is good but she's nothing great. Nany has shown more potential than her in my opinion.
To be fair, on Rivals she lost in an elimination that requiered practically no skill. It was really close, plus Camila/Theresa outperformed Laurel/Cara Maria on almost every challenge before their departure. Now, on Rivals 2 IMO it wasn't only Jasmine's fault that they lost, she also dropped from the threadmill and she wasn't performing as good on the missions.
I hope Real World/Challenge does well in ratings! since every show on MTV right now for the exception of Teen Mom is doing horrible under 0.9 Mark and not making to the top 100 shows on TV by the number
I don't think neither show is going anywhere. The only hits MTV has are Teen Mom 2 and Catfish. Teen Wolf does good, but nothing spectacular, AYTO dropped big time this season and Awkward is ending next season. Free Agents was the lowest rated season, but it still did decent for MTV standards.
But still, I want the show to do well, at least a 0.8 in the demo.

What's Awkward's ratings like? I haven't kept up with it since season 1, but I just saw where it was picked up for its fifth and final season.

It constantly pulls between 0.5 and 0.7 if I'm not wrong.

That's because season 2 cast for AYTO look like a bunch of deginerents. And if I see that damn underwater clip one more time...

I don't think anybody is trying to "cop out" by saying that she has not lost fair and square but rather what some people are saying is that her path to winning has been more difficult than that of others because of politics, situation, etc.. Going against the strongest players in the game and then losing to them is fair but it doesn't mean it's not bad luck especially when other weaker or equal level competitors go throughout the game without seeing an elimination or a worthy opponent. Everything in the challenge is fair, and the rules are whatever production makes them out to be. Sending home Sarah for Vinny's issues while allowing Leroy to stay is not fair in the general sense but because it's prodction's "home" they get to make the rules and what they say goes. People understand that this isn't a standardized test and that production dictates whatever they want as a measure to advance in the game so yeah it's technically "fair" as cast members are subjecting themselves to such instability in a game like this but it can still be seen as unfair or bad luck in a conventional sense and people will still exercise their free speech on it. It doesn't mean it's "copping out", it just means that one is using basic critical thinking skills to examine why certain cast members get and don't get far by examining the circumstances.
You can use the argument that Sarah made her own bed by not only choosing Vinny as her Fm2 partner(she picked!) but also hooking up with him the same way Theresa should not have fought Jasmine on Rivals 1, which lead to production pairing the two up. The entire act of production's SETTING up partners for these people is is so unfair but not really since it's their game. Sarah had a fair shake on Cutthroat but she screwed that up herself. Ruins was debatable(Kelly Anne lead the pace on every event except the balancing beam), and yeah, she lost to the best team on FM2 the same way Theresa has lost to the best teams/players.
And Ryan Kehoe is one of the worst competitors on the challenge. It doesn't matter if he got them far and allowed them to stay out of the exile because being partnered with him is a guaranteed $0 paycheck in the final unless the top 3 teams were to miraculously contract explosive diarrhea from food poisoning right before the final all at the same time.
Nany could be better than Theresa in your opinion but Nany would not have survived if she had switched place with Theresa in those elimination rounds.
If you think about it, we haven't really seen Theresa on a physical one on one elimination round and lose fair and square. She lost to Laurel in a cheap puzzle which was really dumb, and Tina let Tori win that elimination. The only physical elimination she's been in (Free Agents) she won. I think that if there is a duel with physical eliminations she would win for sure. Her or Cara. With the assumption that Laurel and Emily aren't there lol

Exactly, people say that Camila gave up and handed that win to Theresa, but I don't see it that way. She wasn't in a great state of mind, but it wasn't like Camila wasn't trying. Dragging her trough the sand it's not easy at all.
Plus, not only is she physical threat, I feel like she would do really good in a final.

yea. If Theresa is on next season and it's an independent challenge like The Duel, Free Agents, or cutthroat then she's a shoe in for the final. (Assuming Laurel and Emily aren't on.)

I really want a Duel, or simply another team format. What I like about Cutthroat was that people were trying to make their teams stronger by eliminating the weak links. At the end, almost everyone deserved to be on the final because they performed good throughout the season or won some eliminations. On pair challenges, people try to take out the stronger players early and we're left with people who don't deserve to be there making the final.

I would love to see a Duel 3 next season. Season 27 would be the perfect time for a Duel since the last one would officially be 10 seasons ago.
Even though im a Bananas fan im glad Jordan beat him and i do not even like Jordan. It will just be nice to see someone new win. Sarah was due for a win after doing one million challenges. I agree with lurker another duel now would not be ideal. IMO there is almost no great competitors left. CT and Bananas are past their prime, still good but not as great as they were imo. Frank has retired and Zach seems to be mostly a threat in physichal eliminations and most often those are not the only type of eliminations. Ofcourse the list goes on with good competitors on the male side but i can not think of any great ones. The female side has some real good competitors imo, Emily, Laurel, Cooke, maybe Cara Marie and Theresa. I guess it is just missing some well rounded male competitors like Landon, Evan, Kenny and CT and Bananas when they were in peak shape.
I just want a format where there are no restrictions on who can be cast. I would love to see Cory, Brian, Arielle, Joi, Layton(ayto season 2), anyone from ayto really, and Nicole (chicago2). Basically I am excited for the fresh faces or any new blood. The only older gen cast members I would die to see would be Evan, Kenny, and Landon... That's about it. (oh and obv ANYONE from RR:SP)

Joi would be BMP/MTV last option, Arielle is NEVER doing a challenge she doesn't like it and Brian to my understanding would do one if timing is right, while Cory would become a challenge regular if the show continues in my opinion.
If Ayto 2 doesn't improved those mediocre ratings from the premiere, I don't see BMP asking no one from that season. Probably not ask more Ayto people or just people from season 1. At the end of the day they Do not produce that show, its not like they are dying to cast from it especially if the show doesn't bring numbers like season 1 that got similar rating to Real World: Explosion.
