The Challenge: Unpopular Opinions

Trishelle leaving Sarah was  different than what Dunbar did to Tyrie IMO. Trishelle and Sarah actually had a chance to make it to the end and win and Trishelle gave that opportunity up. She also left in a shitty way by not even saying goodbye to Sarah. Dunbar/Tyrie had no chance and atleast Dunbar didn't just walk out on him. I don't know to me it is different and I would throw it if Tyrie was my partner.

Anything physical Tyrie and Dunbar would kill any team except for perhaps Zach and Trey. But endurance they my suck.

still you have to think, by going home you are doing wrong to another person, thats like saying it was ok for trishelle to leave Sarah the way she did...

It WAS okay for Trishelle to leave the way she did. I mean Sarah is a non-entity and Trishelle wasn't feeling it. Why should she stay? It's not like they had a chance to win anyway's(Not that they're weak but they weren't beating Paula/Emly.)

Eh, it's pretty shitty to just decide to take away someone else's chance at money, because you're only thinking about yourself and how you feel. I'm not sure what you mean by saying she's a non-entity?

I mean that she is irrelevant and useless. She hasn't really done anything interesting since she's been on the shows. That's why I didn't have a problem with Trishelle leaving her hanging. It wasn't like it was a big loss to the season.

And that makes it okay for Trishelle to ditch her? I mean it's not like Sarah sucks or anything, she was probably the third best girl on that season.

So what? Sarah doesn't suck but let's be real she and Trishelle were never going to win. Paula/Emily had that season in the bag. And Sarah isn't exactly entertaining so again no big loss. Besides the conditions there were horrid anyways so why stay and be miserable? Sarah is going to be on another challenge anyways. Might as well leave. Trishelle did nothing wrong IMO.

After readinf fantasy casts.... I think Frank S is way too underrated

After readinf fantasy casts.... I think Frank S is way too underrated

Frank is currently the best male competitor in the cast pool (well, he was, it sucks that he's retired now), better than Bananas, CT, etc.

Have you seen Frank's instagram pictures? Holy shit. he looks great... He would be even better if he came back.

I knowwwww. But lot of fantasy cast or opinions here in general make him look like he is a bad competitor. :/

I think that now that Frank is doing Crossfit it may have changed but where I would've given CT/Bananas an edge on him is the coordination/agility/balance portion of athleticism. Frank kind of had that Cara (but way better) athleticism to him. Very strong, fast, crazy endurance, great swimmer (also unlike Cara), but you drop him on a football field and I feel like he'd be clueless, actually quite similar to Kenny, Kenny's just been way more obvious with his klutziness. It's a bummer that we won't get to see either of them now that they're so deep into Crossfit and are likely much more competent with that stuff.

He also may have an overall athletic edge on Bananas but I don't think his political/social game is anywhere near Johnny's. I think you could tell after Rivals 2 a LOT of people were waiting to take shots at him.

Frank S. is an excellent competitor.

However, do I like his personality? Absolutely not. I'm the same way about Bananas as I am about Frank. I know how to recogonize skill when it shows its self.

It is probably because people dislike him based on the way he has acted in the past and some people can't separate their opinion of someone vs their ability as a competitor. Smh

I think some of the old competitors who are considered top 10 or top 20 are overrated and I think some of the newer competitors are better (especially had they been in challenges during those times). I guess nostalgia is one of the key factors in rankings.

I actually agree with the bolded. It really seems like alot of people don't give the newer people credit and think they all suck as competitiors and I think part of that has to do with them simply not being the old competitiors we've come to know. Too many people are attached to the old castmembers and think they're the only ones that are good or can be good. It's stupid to me. Several of the newer challengers have proven they are good and can compete(although there are some weak players but there were weak players in every era of this show so that's not new).

Frank is a beast, it's a shame he went out the way he did on Free Agents, I really think he could have win it all.

I always laugh when people put guys like Mark and Alton on their top 10 lists (I may be a little biased with Alton because I don't like him, but he has never impressed me). Not saying they are bad by any means, but the challenges back then weren't as hard and physically demanding as they are now.

I think Frank Sweeney is the best competitor since Landon and it's a shame that we'll probably never see him again.

I think Alton is a great competitor especially since hes the onky black guy who was a good swimmer. Unless anyone else knows someone else.

TY isn't bad.

I don't remember Darrell being that bad of a swimmer. He wasn't Wes or anything but he definitely wasn't Brandon or Leroy.

Eh, challenges were more well-rounded in the past IMO.

I would say: CT, Derrick, Abe, Evan, Bananas, Mark, and Theo V are above Frank. Given all this OTT praise, I might say Frank is overrated now.

I agree. I'd be okay with it if Beth ever returned. It think it would be very interesting to see how she would fair in this new Era of Challenges.

She'd slay these worthless broads.

BMP needs to get her and Tami to spearhead an Old School team.

I would LOVE IT if Beth came back! She's my second favorite (after Katie). For guys I would want Derrick back and Theo V. would be awesome to see as well.

what debut? So by your way of thinking when there is a clear power team, its okay for the other teams to leave just because they dont stand a chance to win against them...lol ffs...its a challenge, nothing is 100%locked, twists happen and puzzles can switch the way of the game in a second, that is (no offense )a quitter´s thoughts.

Cara Maria is a strong girl. She would have beaten Laurel in that wall-climbing challenge on Free agents. Smile

You also gotta remember Laurel is much taller than Cara.

Yes because is the epitome of a swimmer. wtf??

Well first of all, your response has no subject. I assume you forgot the word "Wes". And yes, as far as swimmers go on the show, as much as I don't like the guy, Wes is probably the best. So yes, Darrell is not on Wes's level, but he still isn't a bad swimmer. What was your problem with that concept?

Well Wes was a state champion swimmer...

Isn't Emilee taller than Jonna?

Who gives a single dime? That doesn't make him all that you know.

Well it sounds like you're saying much more than that.

Uh not really. Someone made the comment that Alton is the only black guy who was a good swimmer. My point was that while Darrell is no Wes (a great swimmer), he is still pretty good and not comparable to Brandon or Leroy who are considered bad swimmers.
