The Challenge: Unpopular Opinions

I remember Dustin saying Leroy and Cooke would have been better partners than Alton and Trashelle. I can see that from Cooke but honestly how is Leroy better than Alton. Alton can actually swim which benefitted the LV team in Sinking Ship, Alton is pretty adaptable, i wonder who's better endyrance wise. What do y'all think.
I'm not sure but I think he only said that because they combined the Vegas teams, they couldn't have just Alton with Dustin Nany & Cooke.

Also, Leroy wouldn't have thrown a challenge like Alton did. Now this is an unpopular opinion, but I have never been that impressed with Alton. He is great at climbing ropes, sure, but other than that he hasn't stand out in anything for me.

3rd leg lol. and IRULAN RELATIONSHIP.

Hahaha 3rd leg, I was reading on a forum a couple months ago and he supposedly was a **** star when he was young. Don't know if it's true but it wouldn't surprise me.

That would explain why Dustin and him were such good friends lol

Hahaha never thought of that

I think JD is a good person and all, but c'mon guys. Other than when he randomly jumped up out of nowhere and busted that table on Brooklyn, which I will give him was ******* hilarious and TV gold, what has he really done?

The guy is wallpaper.

Do people like Nate from San Diego? He's the most annoying cast member ever plus he sucks at challenges.

From what I've seen of him he's horrid so I doubt he has fans.

JD was a constant source of drama on Broolyn from bonding with Katelynn (and then revealing her secret to the guys) to throwing Devyn's phone into the ocean to pranking Ryan, which gave him flashbacks to his army days, which they got into it over, he was very entertaining. Also his outburst wasn't random, Sarah went against what she JUST said seconds ago and she didn't even realize it and that came from weeks of frustration. He's one of those weird cases of people who were great on RW but pretty boring on challenges.

I liked Nate in San Diego.

Nah.

Also, I don't get how Janelle was considered a Bad ***. Someone want to enlighten me?

She was a ***** on her RW season.. I can't stand her.

I don't mind Nate at all. I'm not gonna say I'm in love with the guy but he's not bad.

I mean think about the people on his season for a minute, especially the guys. You have to pick from Frank, the phycopath, and Zach who isn't bad but was a judgemental ****** who did nothing all season and closed himself off from the rest of the house. Nate is nothing really special but he wins best guy from San Diego 2 by defualt for me.

Then with the girls, Ashley is really nice and cute as ****, but she also was like Zach and closed herself off. Don't even get me started on Priscilla, possibly the worst Real Worlder in history for me. She was under aged so couldn't go out with them all season, and she played designated driver for them all season, like really? Add in that she's annoying and boring and I don't understand why she was ever on the show. 19 year olds, or however old she was, shouldn't be on TRW, there's no point.

Overall I'm saying San Diego 2's cast was for the most part crap, and out of that bunch Nate is one of the better ones. I know that isn't saying much but yeah.

As for Nate on the Challenges, yes he failed pretty miserably on walking on the honey. Afterwards, though, he was able to laugh at himself about it and took it like a man. He also impressed me in the elimination. He went for a pretty long time and never gave up. He also had Priscilla who was terrible and got knocked out early, and was going against Wes in his very first elimination. I think overall he wasn't that bad.

Marlon is cool, a little corny but I would also like to see him come back on one with Nia. I did want to throw something at my computer screen when I saw him get mushed by CT one too many times. Like dude, you're taller & around the same size as CT & you let him do that?

Janelle had her *****y moments, but I've also seen a sweet caring side to her.

She's also sexy as hell, so bonus points Blum 3

I actually love both Frank and Zach, but to be fair I started liking them recently. I do agree that San Diego cast was awful.

Eh I felt for Zach on SD2, which shows how awful Frank was, because no Frank people who aren't regularly around homosexual people, aren't going to be so open to it/your life when you do things like hook up in the bathroom and tell them you like guys and they have to deal with it. That's like me coming out to my parents by introducing them my boyfriend and expecting them to be fine with it or else they're the wrong ones.

Marlon would never have fought back he's afraid of conflict which is weird considering he was a linebacker. He just left during the Averey Nia fight instead of trying to hold anyone back and when out of shape Knight made rude comments about him he just got in his face but did nothing.

Well to be fair though Zach was making homophobic comments and kinda being a **** about it. I mean I get that he hasn't been exposed to it but still that's doesn't make it okay to say offensive things about gay people.

And honestly people should really have no problem with Homosexuality in general  but  unfortuately that's not the case so I do see your point.

Some seasons of the RW have sucked because the cast doesn't mesh well together and they just don't have chemistry but them individually aren't that bad like ST Thomas and Portland but for SD2 the cast was actually just terrible. One of the worst casting for a season. There was no point in Priscilla being there... She couldn't go out and was boring. I love Ashley Kelsey but she is pretty boring. Alex was beyond boring.

I understand Frank would be extremely hard to live with, and I agree I wouldn't want someone's sex life/orientation shoved down my throat all the time.

I'm not trying to side with Frank's season long rant about Ashley and Zach, but you have to admit both of them barely if at all attempted to connect with or associate with their other house mates.

I get they were in a relationship, but c'mon. If you're not gonna interact with the other people why did you come on The Real World? Just kind of ruined the experience for themselves in my opinion, but to each their own I guess.

But I suppose it was a pretty horrendous cast, and maybe Zach and Ashley just simply didn't like their house mates. I have nothing wrong with gay people, but they were living with two openly gay strongly opinionated people. Ash/Zach are both from conservative families and it was probably hard adjusting to/relating to Frank and Sam. I agree with Debut, that doesn't mean Zach gets a pass for his homophobic comments/tendencies. There is no excuse for that, but on a general level I can see why Zach didn't easily relate to Frank.

Priscilla was so young and I could see that making her hard to relate to as well.

And then Alex with her ridiculous resume and background was probably hard to relate to as well. I can't remember everything about her but I just remember thinking damn this girl has way too much going on for her and she's like almost too good for TRW lmao. Felt like she shoulda been like winning Nobel Peace Prizes or sometihng.

I think both Frank and Zach were ******* on their real world season and BOTS2 . I kinda liked Zach on Rivals 2,then i liked him on Free Agents, I hated Frank on Rivals 2, but was indifferent about him on Free agents, maybe its because he was only around for two episodes

^ All this. I have never minded Zach too much from the beginning, but there's no doubt he has come a long way since SD2. I also like Trey so I was cheering for them on Rivals 2. They were doing really good and could have been a threat if Zach didn't **** up the elimination round.

Idk why, usually when people pull stunts like Zach did after the elimination, I find it childish and pathetic, but for some reason this time I just found it hilarious when he threw his helmet and had a meltdown.

I hated St. Thomas so I didn't really pay attention to their drama/storylines I just found it boring and pointless. I have come to understand Trey was dating Laura on the show and had some girl back at home or something, which does in fact make him a *******.

I have just found Trey hilarious on the Challenges, and Zach's whole beef with him just cracked me up. Trey on Seasons "We're not here to roll over and kiss anybody's ***." I love that kid.

Yeah Trey was an ******* on his season. But he hasn't been too bad on the challenges. I really want him back on.

I remember reading on reddit from someone that knew Trey in high school how arrogant he was and very rude. However, you also hear Trey is probably one of the more calm castmembers these days who doesn't really do all the crazy antics that happen in the Challlenge houses.

But yeah "we're not here to kiss anybody's *****" is just amazing lol.

Ya I can totally see that with Trey. Idk I know he's an arrogant ****** or whatever but the kid is just funny to me. I think it might have something to do with the whole "Wes Jr." thing. He kinda is like a little Wes in a way if you think about it.

I could totally see him coming on a Challenge, Wes style, and being like "**** everybody, bring it." I know he has his haters, just like Wes, but I've always loved Wes (save a few things on FM2) and found him to be hilarious how he messes with people. Trey is kinda the same way for me.

My 2 favorite Wes moments were a little more recent but I love him pretty much on every Challenge: On FM2 when he put Mandy on his back and thought he was gonna swing across the vines Tarzan style. I LOLed so hard!

And then on Exes the whole Vinny rips Mandy's shirt off awkward deliberation.

"Vinny what would you do if someone did what you did last night to your girlfriend or mom?" "If you pulled that outside of our hosue my boys would introduce you to an alley." "Vinny, I hope I never see you, because I'm gonna rip your top off." That whole episode was just gold for me.

Haha I loved wes's attitude on BOTS2, he all like "**** all you guys, cause I don't care!!!!!

LOL ! Yes! That was exactly why I praise Wes as much as I do. He just doesn't give a shit, does what he wants, and has no problem manipulating others. Not to mention he can back up what he puts out.

Marlon is cool, a little corny but I would also like to see him come back on one with Nia. I did want to throw something at my computer screen when I saw him get mushed by CT one too many times. Like dude, you're taller & around the same size as CT & you let him do that?

so he's a coward and afraid of conflict because he left the Nia vs Avery fight? A fight that was over something VERY IMMATURE and he technically had no part of it? and  Plus we all saw how he held his own against Leroy and Leroy has about 20lbs on him. If he and CT were in a pysical elmination i bet he would take down CT.

You'd lose that bet, no shit he held his own against Leroy, the elimination catered to Marlon, someone who knows how to properly tackle. If it was something like handcuffs where tackling isn't important than Marlon wouldn't win
