I'm having a hard time calling this "The House" instead of The Loft. I know we haven't seen the inside yet but it just still looks like a warehouse to me
Ahhh at first I thought they got rid of the brown board, but now I see the front door is next to it. I was trying to figure out what was different.
Well guys, if I spot anyone, I'll try and snap some pics, or at least get descriptions for ya!
I think filming is still scheduled for Friday. They seem to still be working on the house. The brown board you speak of is the patio they created for the roommates.

If you really want to see their casting tapes just Youtube "Real World 30 Audition Tape".[/QUOTE]
it doesn't look like anyone from Youtube made it from looking at that photo.

That sucks, I saw some good contenders on there.

I stand corrected Jason Hill had a YouTube video made in April 2014, but it wasn't very popular until August 2014. lol :surprise:
These days, the people who end up on The Real World tend to be recruited, not selected from the crowds who show up at an open call. "We read message boards, we look at fan groups, we're out there trolling on the Internet," Murray says. Sometimes they can even spot a star on the street. "We once did an open call in Columbia, Missouri, and one of our crew members struck up a conversation with a girl who was working at the Starbucks there," Murray says. "She had never thought of going on The Real World, but casting interviewed her the next day, and she ended up on the show." That girl was Emily Schromm from The Real World: Washington, D.C.
Yet there hasn't been a active member from here on the show...
That was a good read. It's good to hear John Murray talk about how everything happens, and what he wants to do (locations, etc). I wonder what he means by "message boards." (I doubt they would contact anyone from here anyways.)
I especially like how he's open to bring Road Rules back, but it seems to be MTV that's not wanting it. Bleh.

Didn't Mold wrote once that Frank had account on here, but when he ended on the show ask for the account to be remove?
That is a fact. If you are going to recruit a girl from a coffee shop then you don't need to hold a casting call. You are wasting people's time and gas.
I've always wondered why they never went to Atlanta. Hopefully that is the next location. I wish they would go back to the job thing to where everyone worked at the same place because that brought drama. I've been recently watching RW San Diego (original season) and wow it just reminds me of how much better the real world used to be. I miss when they would film for like 5 months, they had a job, they recieve a trip from that job, and just had seven roommates. I miss it
I feel like when (if) they go to Atlanta they need to try an experiment in the vein of "The Mad Real World". Or at least have a very....unique & different cast.
If they go to Atlanta I don't think the city will be the focus, and I agree graphik, they will have to some casting adjustments to adjust to the city, aka more hood characters
Like bgc and Atlanta fit perfectly, but the real world and Atlanta, I gotta do a double take
They don't even have to be necessarily "hood" as there is more to people than that. Its just pretty ridiculous that they still seem to follow the same formula (1 or 2 "tokens" every season). This is why I liked Hollywood so much, it was a wide span of personalities.

I would just like to point something out...

I'm glad that he mentioned they've been wanting to film in Atlanta. If they really want to film in Atlanta the best time would be summer.

I was told that Frank would read here but I never knew of him having a account.
Recruiting is horseshit.

I'm praying that Atlanta is the next season also. I just hope they would use a house in Atlanta and not throw them in another loft!

I was exaggerating with the hood lol
But yes, begone with the tokeniziation

Tony interview. He gave some stuff away.
Yeah, I wrote down all of the spoilers he said but I'll type it up later on here. But his interview made me even more excited for the show!!
I think Atlanta would bring in a broader audience IMO.
