WHYYYY does it take so long to post cable ratings?! I'm really hoping it was a good turnout despite the suicide timeslot

Ratings will probably come up really soon. They just caught up with posting Thursday-Sunday yesterday and Monday earlier today.

I swear every time I go to this thread that **** Black Eyed Peas song pops into my head.

"Can you practice what you preach? Or would you turn the other cheek?..."

I'm not saying to not have mental or endurance eliminations. I'm saying I don't want to see any stupid **** like infernos. Its not fun to watch it's just lame.

Wait...so it's fun to watch ridiculous daily challenges, but it's lame when there was ridiculous elimination rounds? Would you mind to tell me the difference here?

The difference is eliminations in general are more serious, your fate depends on winning them and I hate seeing peoples losing because they aren't good at doing stupid shit.

The final broadcast ratings for tuesday just came in, so the cable ratings will be coming up soon.

Which is great, because imagine how serious "Eating cookies and milk" would get, doing something this ridiculous where there's 125K even more on the line. That must get stressful and challenge you mentally not to lose focus. I think that's something better to watch than seeing Jasmine doing Balls-In with Laurel.

If they're not better than your oppenent, then they deserve to get eliminated. That's the puriest form of competition.

imo, Inferno 1's Bug Helmet was dumb af. So was that chicken costume thing.

I think that's truly the only mission I would never do.

Wow, Real World got better ratings...

CHALLENGE: BATTLE OF EX 2      MTV     11:00 PM     781     0.5

Interesting that Skeletons had a better number with 840.

Bug Helmet I 100% agree. But the chicken one? OMG! That shit was hilarious!!

Hey hey!

Sucks to comment on this thread 2 days later because it's a really hard time finding ways to watch the challenge being from South America, however, here are my thoughts on this premiere:

- It's really sad to watch this, hear about the dreams and expectations of Diem and knowing whats gonna happen with her in a few episodes... She looks radiant, and filled with hope, and it makes me really sad that she won't be able to finish.

- I like that on Free Agents and this season we're getting really light premieres, without unnecesary drama and fun times, almost makes them seem like an "old school" challenge.

- I'm completely rooting for Jonna/Zach, Wes/Theresa (Later more on that), Sarah/Jordan and Johnny/Averey. Zach has good confessionals, and I've been a fan of Jonna since Rivals, I think that given the right circumstances she might be a great competitor, plus she's gorgeous (And I beg you, please don't start again with the "Jonna is a good/bad competitor" debate so early). Jhonny and Averey seem to me like production are trying to portray them as the new CT/Diem, since they had a lot of camera time talking about if she cheated or not, if they can look into each other eyes, if they trusted each other, etc.

- I must say that I loved that Wes and Theresa won the first mission. I've grown a lot of care for Theresa in the past seasons, mainly because I've been waiting for someone to shake the things up a little regarding alliances and votes, and even though she may make some dumb moves, she brings something that nobody on this show has the guts to do. Same goes for Wes, and I hope that they continue to win to see what else they come up to. The only flaw I see on their plan is that this is not a numbers game, so having an alliance with weaker teams will not save them from eliminations, au contraire, it may create a huge target on their backs.

- Picking Dustin/Jessica feels like a great move for me. Dustin is not picked because he's a beast, nor because he's weak. He's picked because he's a good competitor (Not great, good) who may surprise you winning a few missions, but doesn't have a strong alliance, or many people who supports him, which makes him an easy target. He's in the same situation that Wes was in Exes and Seasons.

- I feel it was a right choice to cast people from AYTO. Some people here act like this show has some kind of Bible, which forbids producers to do the things that they believe are necessary for making it become more popular. If the show was called Real World/Road Rules Challenge, and then they changed the name is irrelevant, they can do whatever they think they can for the survival of the show. I read somewhere on a post that the main goal of the show was to make a follow up of the people who was on this shows and know what has been going on with their issues. To me, it feels like the AYTO people had their show and this is the continuation of it, so I don't see the problem with them being casted.

- Rookies shouldn't "prove themselves", or "earn their stripes" at all. This was something that veterans created in order to gain another week of paid vacations, and get their places secured. Big Easy has been on many challenges, and quitted a lot of times, yet he's a veteran. Does he deserve to be on a challenge for a longer time than, as an example, Averey, who seems like a good competitor and we enjoy? Doesn't seem fair to me.

- I love that we're getting the Ex-iled twist as some kind of webshow. Reminds me of the dailies :).

- Lastly, I appreaciate the effort on not getting many spoilers on this thread, since I'm one of the ones that hate spoilers and had many seasons ruined for this reason. Let's keep this going Smile

Sorry to make such a long post, I wanted to address many of the topics previously discussed and give my two cents on them.

Literally everything on this post was on point Jonna, Theresa, Wes, Ayto, etc. Love this post.

That's lame as **** I don't want to see someone like Laurel lose to someone who she'd beat in any elimination because of some stupid thing like cookies.
Speak for yourself I loved watching Jasmine get crushed.

I guess life isn't fair and people's opinions are different

That didn't even annoy me, the ******* blonde annoyed me. Ruined it for me

Roxy is good. The other two not so much...

Roxy is good. The other two not so much...

Yeah, Roxy is my favorite of the three. I love it when they bring Mark on though. (which, he's coming on next week)

I watch the Afterbuzz shows as well. The only thing I don't care for is that low-talking, whisper-like thing that they always do & them always trying to act "ghetto". They could also learn a bit more about the history of the show but it's just my personal opinion.

I like Roxy but she can be annoying and biased as well, she also dwells over little stuff at times. I find Jesse the most bearable one with Nicolette the least. I like when Nehemiah and Mark are there though. There's plenty of other outlets for out there for discussion though, I came across them but never really checked them out.

I think the Reality Radio w/ Stefan & Whitney is pretty good. They used to get some real oldies on their show...still bummed that I never got to hear the one they did with Jisela.

People keep saying Danni was with Leroy, but that was Gabi lol.

i get annoyed because roxy had a few good points but overall the girls were just shrieking, going off on tangents, and crying about headphones. I wanted more Challenge discussion lol.

I listened to that one! The only major thing I remember was Jisela said she would return if she could negotiate her contract.

I am so over this Danni conversation. It infuriates me! She is disgusting and she behaved like a ****. We all know that she had a fling with CT because she would get on twitter and tell everyone what they did and how they did it. Then she wonders why he used her and why she was never serious to him. The chcick has no class and Im over it...

Has there been a preview for next weeks episode yet?

I like Roxy the most because she actually has some good points (sometimes) but the girl who tries to act ghetto needs to go. She has no idea what she is saying half the time. Jesse is pretty annoying too he is biased and gets people's names wrong the majority of the time. Like he couldn't even pronounce Nia's name.... Are you kidding me? They need to do some research on the show if they are going to do a podcast about it because they always get stuff wrong. Thank god Mark is on there.

Mark is just a pro at that stuff. You can tell he's a dude who's just been on camera now for closing in on what? 25 years? He has some biases but he acknowledges most of them, and he still doesn't hate on the people he's not as close with (I remember when he hosted that Fresh Meat 2 aftershow with Kenny and Wes and he was pretty equally fair to both of them even though he's said that Kenny is one of his best friends).

I know people like to shit on him since he's "thirsty" to get back on but I think he just loves the shows and is invested in them. You can tell when he talks about them that he wants the shows to succeed. There's nothing wrong with wanting to continue to be part of something that you helped to build.

I agree with 100% of this. Not a fan of Jesse, not a fan of ghetto girl at all.

I really like Mark. He's just good-hearted. The pocket protein stuff that he does is just awesome, trying to help kids with obesity. Standup guy. I find a lot of his jokes about getting back on the show to be funny....so okay they aren't entirely jokes....he really does want back on, but he talks about it in a humorous way, always makes me laugh or smile.

Yeah, Mark is just made for cameras and interviews/TV in general. He's also good to have around, and is really charismatic. That's why I wouldn't mind seeing him back on another Challenge.

I'm only looking forward to next week's Afterbuzz just so I can listen to Mark's thoughts on everything so far.
