dustin is a good competitor. he lost last season to a beastly but sick frank. i think dustin is probably marginally better than a rival 2/seasons frank
If it's true the exile winners go straight to the final, I like that one idea better than throwing them back in before the final because they'd be an immediate target , probably go home the first elimination they're thrown in, and the twist would have then failed.

Yes that's why Frank completely outplayed him on seasons....
Yeah I think Frank is easily the best overall competitor since Johnny (plus his starting point was much higher). I think there are better people from Key West and before, but I don't think from Denver onward anyone is on Frank's level. Dustin's good but he's never been better than Frank.

I agree. From this era I think Leroy, Zach, Frank, CJ, Jordan and Johnny R. are all better than Dustin.

One answer: I think if Jordan was better at politics he would be on Frank's level.

Who would want to be all the way down there anyway?
For the record, feeling bad for Dustin because he isn't liked by the guys in the house is perfectly fine but Dustin's reason that he's not liked is wrong. He's not liked for the same reason Dunbar isn't liked. No matter how hard they try they just have personalities that most guys are going to be annoyed with. It doesn't make them bad people or anything. They just don't "fit in" with guys like Leroy, Bananas, CT, Zach, etc
Other than the video with Murtz, I've never seen anything to dislike about Dustin. In that interview, he was REALLY extra. In all honesty, he seems playful and friendly and looking to prove himself, because from what I see, it doesn't seem like Dustin has ever left his rookie status behind. What was a rookie? After three seasons, you were considered a veteran? Or after the first one, you're no longer a rookie? Either one, it doesn't look like its ever been different for him.
I don't believe his past has nothing to do with it either. I really think, competition wise, they find him disposable because Dustin really is a middle tier competitor, whether you want to admit it or not. He can come back from elimination, but is he good enough to turn the house upside down? Not really, or at least not without the right people by his side. IMO, I feel like they judge him too hard.
Out of ANYONE else on this show, Dustin seems to be the definition of underrated.
It seems like he's a little over the top most of the time. Like KVM said, doesn't make him a bad guy, and there are moments when I think he's actually pretty funny, but he does seem like he can be a little grating. I'm sure if he just relaxed he probably be fine.

Eh Leroy has a great political game, but I would put Zito above him as a competitor. CJ had a good performance on Seasons but so did Dustin. Jordan had a flat out awful showing on FA and I would say him and Johnny R are on par with one another.
I agree with JL though. Dustin certainly has annoying qualities, but I find them endearing. He's just so goofy and quirky. I never even thought Mike Mike of all people would gel better with guys like JEK than Dustin haha.

Mike's annoying like a little brother can be annoying...you still love them even when they're annoying you
Dustin is "always on" and that's annoying as ****. All of these videos with Dustin show exactly why most of these guys aren't going to get along with him and it has nothing to do with FratPad. Let's be real--some of these other guys have hooked up with guys--no one cares
The problem with Dustin is he's insecure about it and assumes" oh they dont like me because I did gay ****" but that's not the problem, I doubt anyone cares.

I agree with this, Dustin has a personality that doesn't fit with the other guys, it happened on vegas when he got along with the girls instead of the guys.
Its funny because while jessica was annoyed by dustin at one point, I think both are pretty similar they just want to fit in and be like by the popular kids.
I was also hoping to see jessica interact with averey again.

Yeah I think the thing about Mike is, and a few of the guys have said it, is that he's 100% comfortable with who he is. He's not ripped up. He's not an alpha male. He likes learning about farms. He doesn't hide any of this stuff or try to keep it from the other guys just for the sake of fitting in and I think JEK liked that (when they weren't teasing him...even though that was mostly only Johnny and Tyler). Dustin somehow seems to be both very comfortable in his own skin at some points and extremely insecure at others.
I think Dustin is just a bit quirky and can be a bit akward when he's being funny sometimes. As been said he's not a bad guy and it really has nothing to do with his gay **** past. I don't think anyone really cares about that anymore and nobody on these shows has any buisness judging him on that anyways.
Dustin needs to convince himself that it isn't a big deal, he turns it into a excuse for why people dont like him.
Dustin is kinda weird, not Nehemiah creepy Zen room weird or Isaac everything he does is hilarious weird either. Just has times where he is odd.
The problem with Dustin is he's insecure about it and assumes" oh they dont like me because I did gay ****" but that's not the problem, I doubt anyone cares.
I think that's the one thing that bugs me about him..I feel like he's never really owned the fact that he did ****. He never owned it during his season and while he's said and done things that make it seem like he's fine with it..There always seem to be this feeling that he wasn't.
I think he's just always going to feel insecure about the gay **** stuff no matter what which is why he feels the guys don't like him. I love Dustin though I don't see how he can be annoying from what they've shown.
That made me love Dustin even more. He's funny.

Same here!
He's taking this loss hard.
It also may be the fact living in a small house with Jess with no other human interaction.
...yeah.
Zito and Jess winning 9 eliminations to get a spot in the final? LOL.
100 percent agree
I knew when I found out the teams that jess was going to screw things for him, hopefully he'll come back with a better partner

I like Dustin soooo much
so sad that he does not get along with others and always home so early
Wow Another Dustin Fan. I thought I was the only one LOL.
Dustin isn't disliked by the guys in the house for his past. He's disliked because he's annoying as ****...that video proves it
I like Zito. I felt so bad for him when he was talking to Jess.

I do not find him more annoying tjan Bananas, Wes, CT or Zach. I think they are actually worse but whatever.

Both he and Jess proved to be pretty likable this season, it sucked to see them go home early after they had that heart-to-heart moment.
Dustin isn't a bad guy, he's just eccentric and that does not sit well with the other guys who are much more laidback.
