Yeah Zach made like a thousand terrible political moves. Susie, Coral, etc. must be cringing at how bad he played this.

Nah I think zach played it smart it was wes who ****** up(or maybe not, maybe that's what wes wanted all along). Zach knew if he put wes first and wes being the best swimmer in the house he might come after him and he didn't want to be johnny's fall guy. Zach also knew that if wes didn't win bananas would not have been as ****** as he was when wes did win and even then bananas would still be on the hunt for wes and not zach if he were to beat leroy.

the moment it backfired on zach was wes annoucing he knew bananas was rallying them to put him first.

I'm actually in love with Johnny after this episode. How sweet was he to Nany!? I mean Zach would've yelled to Jonna.

Bananas is everything. I love him : )

I can't stand Bananas but everyone should be able to give him credit for this.

So we should give him credit for actually being sweet to girl over the million other times when he was an ******* to all the other ones (Evelyn, Laurel, Cara Maria, Tonya, Robin, etc) ? **** no. He's still a ******* and is only on his best behavior cuz he has a girlfriend now.

Also, I can see why Theresa doesn't want to do another challenge. I'm not a Nany fan (obviously) but she slayed Theresa on the aftershow. Theresa looked spooked when BathroomGate came up

I just wonder who was she bathroom with?  Gotta be Leroy seeing as how Nany didn't want to mention it.  Johnny also said the back of the bus Theresa had her "taco" stand open.  We need to see some of this stuff lol....

Guys...Wes would've won that challenge whatever place he had in the order. Bananas knows it, the people in that house knows it and you should too. Let's not make mountain out of a molehill.

After Bananas is out...who is gunning for Zach now? His friends Jordan or Reily? His girl Jenna? The mastermind Wes? Or the couples with no powers considering their abilities...If you look at this, Zach made a pretty good move. He just needs to stay quiet this next week.

Vetmove? Big Easy, the mastermind.

Theresa and Nana.... it's like they talk about eachother.....LOL

Off-Topic : Ruins 2 with Wes, Bananas, Zach, Darrell would be pretty epic now...

He's undermining that good move with his horrible attitude towards his partner. He flat out lied in this episode when he told Bananas Jonna was the one in charge of the order. Everyone knows Zach is the one in control of their decisions and by not just admitting that to Bananas Zach proved he can't be trusted because he'll lie when people question his decisions. He's giving himself a reputation that he can't be trusted .

Poor Zach, if Zach does let Jonna to do a thing (They might made the order together), people still get mad at Zach.

He goes against Bananas, Zach does not like Bananas, Zach does not trust Bananas, which is why he said I'm playing my own game and not his. If Reily/Jordan were in jeopardy, Zach wouldn't do this.

I just think Zach is getting the villian edit this season, same as Theresa.

Nany/Bananas can talk about the guys that Theresa hooked up with, but if Theresa brings this up, it's not her business...

I'm so glad that Nany is gone; like Theresa & Nia said: safe travels, groupon p****.

And blaming Jonna which no one would believe and obviously trying to play both sides. Like I said, he made a lot of mistakes and it's more than obvious why Frank ran things on Seasons 2.

It has got to be Leroy because Nany wouldn't say. The only other person I think it could be would be Adam but Adam and Averey were all over each other.

Yeah, I don't think its as bad as its made out to be.

You acknowledge both...having a girlfiend has nothing to do with it.  See how good he was with Devyn in the final last year as well.  There's growth

Zach is an idiot , on this challenge the only thing he screwed was not saying to bananas to **** off right infront of his face, I like what he said on his head interviews basically about not letting johnny win another one when he already won five, all of that would have been great if he had told johnny that he wasn't going to play on his side.

Zach is the type of guy that wants to be cool with everyone and on this game you can do that.

I'm excited , If zach and bananas met on the next challenge, should be interesting to see how everything goes, Im sure bananas is not going to let zach walk away with what he did on this challenge.

Bananas held a grudge with Rachel for what she tried to do to Bananas on The Island and was shown on BOTE1. Bananas will definitely do his best to get Zack out next challenge

What's even crazier is Johnny explained where Theresa's twitter handle comes from.  Johnny said he used to call her "10&2" because that's the position her legs were in when her and Leroy were banging.  She used to joke with them about it and her Twitter handle Theresatime20 is a inside joke between them.  She brings it all on herself.....

I hope there are better challenges coming up cause these last two have been pretty lame. The painting one was just dull to watch and the surfboard was practically a repeat of the third mission. Bananas was super annoying by whining about getting sent in and Zach is a ****** for treating Jonna like that. It's like watching him kick a puppy.

Its going to be interesting watching this show without Bananas so I'm excited. Hopefully ratings don't drop cause of Bananas early exit.

Since Nany is gone, can we start a new hashtag

#WeHateZackClub

Zach must be getting a lot of backlash bc he changed his Twitter handle, picture & all but still hasn't tweeted ****. He might be done after this one, seems like he can't take the heat.

Leroy beasted.

I think getting eliminated now is actually a huge advantage for Bananas & Nany, the target's off their backs, the rest of the house thinks they're gone and they should coast through exile and get back in the game whenever that happens.

Exactly...Her being a hypocrite is an understatement. She will make jokes about that but then take it so seriously when Nany hooks up with someone. It just goes to show that Theresa's issue with Nany isn't the fact that Nany hooked up with people.. It is the fake that Nany made the finals over her on Free Agents and was jealous/bitter.

I'm glad Wes and Zach did what they did to get Backpack out. Zach was a ***** about it though. He should've stood up and said "look I screwed you because your a threat and I want you out. I'm not playing your game" BUT I gotta admit though Zach showed his *** with this and noone is going to trust him going forward.

I also gotta give credit to Leroy/Nia for demolishing them. Especially Leroy.

Now all I need is for Backpack/Nany to lose in Exile and I'm good to go.

Editor's Note: I wrote this last night with the intention to post last night, but Vevmo was down.....I'm not changing the tense it was written in. I know, petty.

Mark down this episode Love, Sweat & Tears folks -- because by far, this was one of the best episodes of this season, last season, and likely the season after that. It was so good that I decided to go out of my way to provide my review a full day in advance because I couldn't wait to write about it.

What The **** Was Last Week's Ending About Then?

So, this week's episode starts out EXACTLY the same as the previous 3-4 episodes, in the same ******* bar with the same ******* people, doing the same ******* thing. I think the only difference between each episode is that there are less people, and for some reason Jonna's wearing a sports bra. She's clearly given up on life. The most surprising thing is that after last week's recurring theme of Nany longing (and crying) for Johnny Bananas, it's barely even referenced this week. Why? Because all the love bullshit took a back seat to MAJOR GAME POLITICS and CHALLENGES. *explosions*

I LOVE these type of episodes

With that said, this episode was SO good. Like ridiculously good. And why? Because it focused heavily on the game. For once, it was an episode that mattered because so much was on the line and the winners actually had the opportunity to change the game entirely. And is that all that we really want from the game? At least I do. I want winning to mean something again. Winning means you hold all the power and can literally change the complexion of the game at your will. But the whole "playing smart" aspect usually messes that up.

Take last week's episode. Last week's episode was such a cop out considering who lost the Challenge, and the winning team's incredibly tepid vote to send rookies to the elimination. It's these kind of episodes where winners don't want to "rock the boat too early", that make you feel like you're watching the same thing play out every season.

This episode, you begin to see the alliances, you already see a betrayal, you see a power move and a big time elimination that -- in the words of Sarah Rice -- changes EVERYTHING. The only major episode I remember similar to this off the top of my head, involved Wes finally throwing a shot at Kenny in Fresh Meat 2. The episode where Wes got Landon to vote Kenny and Laurel in against their own alliance member, Sarah & Vinny.  Albeit the ending of this episode, which was bittersweet, it was a fantastic episode.

The One Episode Where The Order Actually Matters

This week's Challenge is a momentous return to heights and water, and like past Challenges, it's a variation of a previous Challenges we've seen before. Fly off some object, swim around a buoy, ring the bell -- standard Challenge shit, so not incredibly exciting television. By far, more impactful than the Challenge itself was the politics that played out because for once the ORDER MATTERED. Here are a few notes:

  • Zach refuses to put Wes first because Bananas suggested it to him and he doesn't want to feel like a "pawn" in the game. Never mind the fact he isn't playing to win this Challenge for himself or for the people he's looking out for in the game (which is supposed to be Jordan, Johnny, and Bananas), he's too preoccupied with not seeming like a pawn. What a dope.

  • As a black man, I continue to feel for Leroy and Nia who keep getting put into these horrible horrible water challenges over and over again.

  • LOL @ Jay thinking he could make the jump. He's like what, 5'4"?

  • I'm looking at the guys who launched themselves off the diving board, and I don't think there was any way to make it onto the weighted bag unless the girl shifted their weight. Remember that one episode of Fresh Meat II? Of course you do, this is Vevmo -- where everyone remembers everything and isn't afraid to reference it, no matter how dated and irrelevant it is.

  • Jonna's looking horrible in these Challenges. Like she's always been a solid competitor no matter what. What happened?

  • Zach (in confessional): "I've never been more embarrassed in my entire life" / Zach (to Jonna's face): "Nah, you didn't slow me down." Seriously bro? At least keep it consistent.

  • Wes & Theresa beat Jordan & Sarah by less than 2 seconds. Does anyone else think that these times are bullshit?

Zach Sells His Soul Is The Story Of The Episode

This week's power couple dinner is a drive-thru burger and leftover yuca slices from that one elimination, and power couple Wes & Theresa immediately decide that Bananas & Nany. Obviously. What's most intriguing lies in the conversation between Zach & Wes where they formally form their alliance, with both naming the opposite as their highest priority.

Zach's watched enough of these shows to know Wes' track record, and there's very little evidence on these shows of Wes taking anyone with him to the finals. He's making the mistake of  playing a game to get him through until the next week, but not a game to preserve himself to the end. He's sold his soul to Wes, he's attempting to play both sides with Wes' alliance and his own alliance, and his team isn't strong enough to keep themselves in this game (just judging by today's performance).

The worst part of it is that Zach's completely, and publicly, exposed by Bananas (and Jonna). Zach, you're playing yourself. It makes me think what would've happened in this game if CT & Diem stayed.

BaNany Just Became The Greatest Exes Team Ever

Bananas and Nany are voted into the Exile, and they are ******. ****** at Wes & Theresa (I'm assuming Bananas' quiet alliance with Theresa over the course of the last few seasons is over), and at Zach who spilled the beans to Wes. The result is the fiery Dominican Nany going off on Theresa, and surprisingly enough, Bananas just letting it happen. Normally he has to be the one to reel his partners in after they fly off the handle, but Bananas has a confidence in Nany that he hasn't had with his other partners. It's strange, it's new, it's refreshing.

F***** Groupon p****

WAIT! NOW WE CAN'T SAY ***** ON TV? WHAT'S GOING ON?!

Wes Is  A Winner (Interlude)

As much as I don't want BaNany to go home, this was a great interlude. Wes is great TV.

I know Johnny, I hate her too.

The Elimination Round (aka The Surprisingly Gracious Fall from Grace)

It's been a long time since an elimination has had my heart pumping as fast as it did this time around. Leroy and Nia vs. Bananas and Nany won't go down in the Top 10 Elimination rounds of all time, but considering everything that was at stake, it was gripping as shit. As I watched Nia and Nany race up and down the log lying down on my plus bed, I found myself sitting down after a couple of moments, and then before I knew it I was standing up with the blood pumping and my eyes refusing to blink to miss a second. Both girls were neck at neck at some point, and you knew the game would be decided by whoever reached their respective male partner first.

Then Nany got stuck...and you could see and feel the feeling of helplessness on both Bananas and Nany's faces, albeit expressed differently. Nany, much more frantic and in a panic, tried everything possible to reach her partner. But Bananas, you could see him remaining composed as he processed the inevitable, it was over.

Nia reached before Leroy and Leroy blasted up and down the log almost instantly. Leroy and Nia defeated Bananas and Nany, and the champ is now officially dethroned.

Leroy bestowing Nia as the MVP warmed my heart, Bananas and Nany embracing in defeat -- and going out graciously warmed me in the same way. **** what I said before, this elimination was amazing. For the first time, in a long time, it meant everything.

The After Show

So this is the second week of the after show, and if last night's episode was the same way it was the previous week, I probably would've stayed up. But man, was this an after show or what? A few notes:

  • Zuri Hall is growing on me only two episodes into this after show. She's already blown past previous classic after show hosts like Jonny Moseley and Chet Cannon </sarcasm>.

  • I don't want Bananas and Wes on Rivals 3. They're too good separately to waste their potential in the game by working together. But not sure if I want Nany & Theresa or Nany & Averey as a Rival.

  • LOL @ Zuri pointing out that Bananas has a picture of himself on his shirt. +3 cool points.

  • Theresa has to hate showing up on this show and becoming this lightning rod of hate, she's being made out to look like a liar, hypocrite, *****, and everything else under the sun.

  • LOL @ Bananas being the role of the instigating best friend "Oooh gurl, tell em about what happened in the bathrooom!"

HERE'S TO LOSING BEING THE COOLEST THING EVER

John & Simone have been stinking up the Battle of the Ex-iled for far too long. Way too long. They've been there at least three weeks now and I somehow imagine they live on opposite sides of the Ex-iled house and only meet up when they get a text from TJ and if they have to use the bathroom at the same time.

With that said, Bananas and Nany dispatch John & Simone pretty easily and the ending of it all is the most hilarious thing ever. "WE'RE LOSERS, THIS IS HOW LOSERS LIVE."

"HERE'S TO LOSING BEING THE COOLEST THING EVER, HERE'S TO LOSING."

If you want to follow me on Twitter, I'm @MeelzTV. I need some more Challenge heads on my timeline.

that confirms that Zach is a ***** because he has a small one LOLOLOL jonna said it, and another Hes been with Danni from BGC said lol

I think Zach really shot himself in the foot last night. Had he just did the order the way he did he may have actually wound up being fine, but going and telling Wes, not realizing Wes would say something, and then on top of it making a deal with him, was a HUGE mistake.

Prior to last night Zach was in a 5 team alliance (Reilly/Jordan/Bananas/Leroy). Three teams make it to the final and he was in the main 2 of two, possibly three of those teams (Reilly/Jordan and maybe Leroy). Reilly and Jordan definitely would've chopped at Leroy and Bananas before him, and Leroy possibly would've gone for Reilly or Jordan first. He was set for a while. By dealing with Wes, and everyone finding out about it, now Johnny and Jordan both know that they were potentially bumped from his top 2, and Leroy knows he's out of it completely.

Bananas was right in everything he said to Zach. It wasn't about being a pawn to Bananas (that argument especially doesn't make sense since he's now likely a pawn to Wes), it's about how you handle relationships in the game. Should you get shot  just so that someone else doesn't? No. But what Zach did is the equivalent of telling your friend that you'll never punch them in the face, but if someone else is about to punch them, you're just going to move out of the way and let it happen even if you can stop it. I wouldn't want a friend like that. For a guy that on paper is probably hands down the best athlete there, it is amazing to me how terrified he is...or how insecure in his and his partner's abilities.

I understand why Wes voted Bananas in and I'm not mad about it. They are on different sides but... For me it was how Zach was trying to pin it on Jonna and other people. Also if he didn't want to play Bananas's game then don't play Wes' game either. Wes has screwed more people over in his alliance than Bananas has. Bananas tweeted it perfectly saying at least Wes knew what side he was playing for. Zach didn't. Zach was completely exposed this episode and I loved it.

I love that most of the house hates Nany because I think she's incredibly fake the whole" I don't sit around degrading girls to feel better" yet she called Emilee a **** last season. She's fake. I liked her until free agents then she got super annoying and last night just sealed the deal for me, she's pretty until she opens that mouth and acts obnoxious.
Word.

Meelz, you killed it again with the episode review!

T

True. I didn't like that he tried to pin it on Jonna. I don't know what made him think that anyone was going to believe that. And he pretty much played Wes's game now and like you said. Wes has screwed people in the past. Playing Wes's game is dangerous for him. I think Zach's best bet is to keep his head down because if he does anything else it's gonna dig him deeper into a hole.

And to switch gears a bit...Now that Backpack/Nany are out of the game(well the main game really. They can come back) the competition and politics are worth caring about again in my eyes because the game has opened up and now it's more of anyones game really. I think the game is going to get interesting from here on out.

cohutta's such a sweetheart. The hypocrisy was real. Theresa is just beyond lame ugh. On Free Agents she was in the bathroom with a guy. On Instagram, when they were having a fight Nany said something like " go back to the bathroom" to Theresa. Theresa's whole defense is "but I'm remorseful about it."  Girl, bye.

And I really respect Bananas for having Nany's back the way he did. Like he said, Nany was single, and Theresa did the same things, so hypocritical is an understatement.
