Format: The same as The Duel II including--elimination games will be choosen by cards that say either: Physical, Endurance, Strategy, or Mental. There will be 2 games for each category. Which games would you want to see?
Also, this season the losers will compete in a loser's bracket called, "THE DUEL RE-DEMPTION". Winners stay in the game and await their next face-off, while the losers officially go home emptied handed. Once the competition is down to the Final 4 Guys & Girls--the winners of Duel Re-demption will return to the game and compete in one last Duel against 2 others competitors. Only ONE player will remain and compete in the final challenge worth $350,000!!!!!!

I'm not comfortable with former Rivals being Allies. I like a lot of this though (from the people I know anyway).
Not saying you need to change anything but I'd replace Laurel/Cara Maria with Laurel/Sarah who were true allies even though they'd then become the heavy favorite. I'd also bump Jonna/Nany because of them being Rivals for Aneesa/Theresa or and Old School pair if they could get it. I'd love Mallory Snyder/Christena Pyle or even Susie/KellyAnne or a Coral/Veronica/Rachel/Tina combination or Coral/Elka or even Jenn/Paula.

You'll be shcoked by this but...this isn't bad. I never thought I'd say this but I'd like to see Frank S back but I hate that he's paired with Dustin. Poor Leroy--gotta pick better fights.
Honestly I think MTV needs to change their strategy of pick a theme then cast. It should be cast people fans like, maybe some we don't like for drama, and make a theme around your good cast. A lot more cast members would say yes because then you couldn't guess the format. And every once in a while do a pre-planned season like Exes, Seasons, or Rivals. If they did stuff like this then they wouldn't be in situations where people decline because they know they won't like they're partner.

According to V1, next season will only consist of RW/RR/FM/Camila people. Not sure how 100% that is, but I wouldn't be surprised considering how the reception to AYTO people was less than stellar. On top of that I could see them maybe bringing some back for certain themes that go with their show like Exes/Rivals/Seasons. I however don't see us getting one of those next season, at least I hope not so I think we won't see AYTO people soon.
I'm banking on a new team theme/format or a Duel 3 of some sorts next season.
I think BMP/MTV know its best not to do a co-ed Rivals next season so soon. Seasons didn't do that great and they've already technically done 2 of them. And Allies would be great but I don't think they are smart enough to do it.
Next season is crucial if we want to see a Season 28 and even 29 so they need to bring on the best format they got new or old that doesn't require partners. Cast some different people, more rookies, old school vets more so on the male side and we could see a change in ratings and/or at least entertainment.

Exactly! And the reason the Duel 3 was like that was because there weren't enough heavy hitters/balanced cast. The Duel is a great format and in sense eliminates alliances because eventually your called out whether its by a friend or not.
i feel like Real World would most likely win. Fresh Meat would get destroyed with Laurel probably running the final by herself. Who knows maybe she can take it.

After reading everyone's posts, I realized if there ever was a Duel 3, the format shouldn't be changed. I really loved the first season because there were more surprises and the competition/drama was better. I was just bored with Duel 2 because it was the same people controlling everything but looking back on it, the cast wasn't that strong. If they got a great mix of old school and new players, I think a Duel 3 would be solid.

Number three and four on the girls teams would be interesting to see in an elimination like Last Chance or Blast off.

I'm not comfortable with former Rivals being Allies. I like a lot of this though (from the people I know anyway).
Not saying you need to change anything but I'd replace Laurel/Cara Maria with Laurel/Sarah who were true allies even though they'd then become the heavy favorite. I'd also bump Jonna/Nany because of them being Rivals for Aneesa/Theresa or and Old School pair if they could get it. I'd love Mallory Snyder/Christena Pyle or even Susie/KellyAnne or a Coral/Veronica/Rachel/Tina combination or Coral/Elka or even Jenn/Paula.
Frank/Nemiah (G3) would be very interesting IMO
You'll be shcoked by this but...this isn't bad. I never thought I'd say this but I'd like to see Frank S back but I hate that he's paired with Dustin. Poor Leroy--gotta pick better fights.
Honestly I think MTV needs to change their strategy of pick a theme then cast. It should be cast people fans like, maybe some we don't like for drama, and make a theme around your good cast. A lot more cast members would say yes because then you couldn't guess the format. And every once in a while do a pre-planned season like Exes, Seasons, or Rivals. If they did stuff like this then they wouldn't be in situations where people decline because they know they won't like they're partner.

I tried to do a realistic cast. I know people don't want AYTO but I feel like MTV is going to put more so I picked the ones I would like to see come back. I know there isn't a lot of old schoolers but I wanted something fresh with a new cast to mix things up. I also didn't use most people from the original beside the ones who left before the halfway mark.

According to V1, next season will only consist of RW/RR/FM/Camila people. Not sure how 100% that is, but I wouldn't be surprised considering how the reception to AYTO people was less than stellar. On top of that I could see them maybe bringing some back for certain themes that go with their show like Exes/Rivals/Seasons. I however don't see us getting one of those next season, at least I hope not so I think we won't see AYTO people soon.
I'm banking on a new team theme/format or a Duel 3 of some sorts next season.
I think BMP/MTV know its best not to do a co-ed Rivals next season so soon. Seasons didn't do that great and they've already technically done 2 of them. And Allies would be great but I don't think they are smart enough to do it.
Next season is crucial if we want to see a Season 28 and even 29 so they need to bring on the best format they got new or old that doesn't require partners. Cast some different people, more rookies, old school vets more so on the male side and we could see a change in ratings and/or at least entertainment.

How could you change the format? The Duel is one of the greatest formats ever lol
Haha I like the format but on the second season, a lot of the heavy hitters like Brad, Evan, Landon and Mark were always at the top of the list and pretty much controlled the entire game. I think if they changed the format like this, things would be more intense. For example, Cooke wins a challenge and votes Nia into the duel then all the girls will vote in Coral to face Nia and both girls go off on everyone ****
Horrible change, one of the reasons the duel is great is because it let's you pick your opponent. The changes you made do nothing really expect make it more alliance heavy.
Exactly! And the reason the Duel 3 was like that was because there weren't enough heavy hitters/balanced cast. The Duel is a great format and in sense eliminates alliances because eventually your called out whether its by a friend or not.
I just did this for shits and giggles.

After reading everyone's posts, I realized if there ever was a Duel 3, the format shouldn't be changed. I really loved the first season because there were more surprises and the competition/drama was better. I was just bored with Duel 2 because it was the same people controlling everything but looking back on it, the cast wasn't that strong. If they got a great mix of old school and new players, I think a Duel 3 would be solid.
