not to mention on top of that fact, reilly was recently heard on podcast defending zach and his behavior towards jonna. he's clearly a full on zach-enabler. reilly supporters, where ya at?
Jonna did so well last night! Like Theresa said, she was a little spider monkey! Really hoping she makes it to the end on her next challenge.
As for disrespecting women.... Almost all of the guys on this season have been trash. I actually think Wes, whom I hate, has behaved himself really well. He really hasn't said anything too horrible about Theresa (although he has made a few sexist comments because of course)
Lets not act like the girls have been nice and respectful the entire season. Sarah has called Jordan an ******* plenty of times, Theresa has talked so much shit about Wes, Averey straight up told Reilly that she doesn't have any respect for him, and Jenna makes fun of jay every time she can, the only guys that were rude to their partners were Zach and Adam.
LOL Reilly and Jordan where also well into that "women are inferior" conversation but ok whatever fits your narrative, dude.
I didn't say they weren't. If you read my post, I said guys aren't the only one talking shit. And..... Jordan and Reilly were good to their partners, for the most part.

I'd say calling women inferior and only useful for child bearing is pretty 'rude' to their female partners.

oh word? What did he say?
Eh I wouldn't say Reily was defending his behavior. He said something like Zach can't be tamed and he was wrong how he talked to Jonna but Reily didn't defend her and other people didn't because she got on their nerves.
I can't remember exactly what Reily said but he wasn't defending how he talked to her. I don't think anyone in the house defended Zach about it, they unfortunately just didn't speak up which is kind of ****** up.

That ******* sucks imo. To me inaction in that kind of situation is almost as bad as the abuse itself. But she's annoying so who cares if she was being emotionally abused on the daily right? rme.
and I don't know if I should read much into Reilly saying Jonna was annoying. So many from the cast talk about what a sweetheart she is, and I think Zach just broke her down mentally. Reilly is one of these guys who just follows all the alpha males and probably finds most of the girls annoying. He found all the girls on his season annoying too (except for Averey, but she was his girlfriend and the tomboy type who hung with the guys anyway). Expect more of Reilly kissing Bananas butt next season and going along with them when they hate on the girls.
not to mention on top of that fact, reilly was recently heard on podcast defending zach and his behavior towards jonna. he's clearly a full on zach-enabler. reilly supporters, where ya at?
The fact that Jenna is still with Zach shows what an idiot she is... He is worse than Jay.
Who's to say Jonna wouldn't still be with him if he hadn't dumped her? I'm sorry, but the hate Ashley is getting in this thread is actually ridiculous and so wrong! She was the only girl that actually saw Zach for who he is and dumped his sorry ***. Jonna worshipped him and now she's frustrated because he doesn't treat her well anymore! Well, she should've known better!
I actually felt a little bit sorry for Jonna this season, but I don't anymore. The stuff people here are saying about Ashley makes me think Jonna deserved everything she got this season because it reminded me of Jonna throwing her and Zach's relashionship in Ashley's face in Battle of the Seasons. Karma. I'm back to not liking Jonna.
so because some people made some comments that weren't so nice about Ashley you are back to hating Jonna? Talk about a super fan, and karma for what exactly? Ashley was just fine with Zach and Jonna hooking up. There isn't a problem with Zach and Jenna hooking up on the challenge with their exes there either. The problem I have is with the awful, abusive way he treated her, and if you condone that just because Jonna hooked up with the ex boyfriend of Ashley (who she owed nothing to), then that's just petty.
Jonna actually said nice things about Ashley for how well she handled her relationship with Zach, and said she wouldn't have been able to handle it as well as she did.
She should have known better? Zach is Prince Charming to these girls in the beginning of course. He used to tweet about how beautiful and a perfect 10 Jonna was. He charms these girls. Then after the relationship is over he's mean to them. Ashley had a different situation where she got to know him acting one way on the show, where he pretended to be this good old midwestern guy who didn't even believe in hooking up, and then outside the show she realized he was nothing like that.
Jonna did so well last night! Like Theresa said, she was a little spider monkey! Really hoping she makes it to the end on her next challenge.

i just rewatched it and these were some of his words
zach "told her how it is" and "did i care? no i didnt care"
thats defintely enabling as was filling in his blanks as portrayed on TV
I would be surprised if this ISN'T addressed at the reunion. Let's face it, the backlash against Zach is ALL OVER social media so I'm sure the cast saw it all before filming the reunion. They have to know that calling him out will be supported by the fans and it will only make them look better.JMO
I seriously wonder how Zach would behave if he was on a Battle of the Sexes.
The fact that Jenna is still with Zach shows what an idiot she is... He is worse than Jay.

Zach legit acted like that? ****!
Did you not see San Diego....Zach acted like he was this southern gentlemen who wouldn't have *** with Ashley because he respected women and then she said he was the exact opposite of who he portrayed on the show than in real life.
He also acted like a homophobe because he thought Ashley was uncomfortable with it. He tried to be the man he thought Ashley wanted him to be. Sweeney saw through this all and was dead on about him from the start. Unfortunately most people including myself didn't see that because people failed to listen to Frank because of how dramatic and crazy he was on SD but he was actually right about everything. Frank's a smart dude. Hence why Frank/Ashley are actually very good friends now and have no relationship with Zach. Zach is a piece of shit and needs to grow the **** up before he tries to get in another relationship.

Oh well shit, thats definitely supporting Zach then as far as i'm concerned.
I'll admit i don't get Reilly at all ****, like he's so awkward and easily swayed and painfully unfunny i don't get how he was cast in the first place tbh. Every time he shows up i'm like...

Nope. I started watching the Challenge at Battle of the Exes, but I've seen Rivals, Cutthroat, the Duel, and the Inferno. And I started Real World at Portland.

Mte re: Frank, he's so horrible regardless of being able to read people well, from what I've seen more often than not he uses those powers for evil.
i think the idea that Zach was catering to Ashley's homophobia is super generous. They both seemed pretty genuine about it. He didn't have to talk a bunch of bullshit in the confessionals where Ashley wasn't even there to hear it

I remember him kissing Frank playfully on Seasons 1. But I heard it was to prove he wasn't a homophobe.
So Ashley doesn't like gays? Guess she didn't get along with Sam?
On their season of Real World, Ashley and Zach isolated themselves from the other roommates. The majority of the time when everyone else wanted to go out somewhere, Ashley and Zach chose to either stay home or go to the gym instead.
I don't remember Ashley ever openly expressing her opinions about gays or anything else. Frank and the other roommates complained a lot that Ashley would just parrot Zach's opinions because she liked him.
No Ashley doesn't have a problem with gay people clearly since she is close with Sweeney now and was friends with Derek on Seasons.
I'm saying is I think Frank thought she was a homophobe on their season because she isolated herself from him and didn't like him but she actually just didn't like his personality so I felt like since Frank accused Ashley of being a homophobe that Zach started acting like one just to be what he thought Ashley wanted him to be but really she wasn't homophobic... Idk if that makes any sense lol but that is the way it came across on the season and what Sweeney/Ashley have said about Zach not acting himself.
Zach had gay friends at home during the time they filmed SD, became friends with Preston, kissed Sweeney so clearly he was pretending to be someone he wasn't.

She wasn't Westboro Baptist homophobic by any means haha : p but I do remember a couple of comments like she was 'uncomfortable' about it and not really wanting to be around that stuff, but to be fair a lot of religious kids grow up very sheltered and it's clear that she's past it by now. IMO anyway, she seems to be past it.
My thoughts on Reilly: He did nothing but enable Zach and his atrocious behavior. I don't dislike him, but he's definitely gone down in my books. I'm still surprised no one confronted Zach on how he treated Jonna though. I know people give Leroy credit, but I would've preferred something like that said to Zach's face and/or in the house instead of a confessional.
I'll admit i don't get Reilly at all ****, like he's so awkward and easily swayed and painfully unfunny i don't get how he was cast in the first place tbh. Every time he shows up i'm like...
i dont care for him either. im not going to say i dislike him only because i equate his worth to that of a ROCK and i have no feelings towards rocks. they're just neutral to the earth...kind of worthless but not doing any harm either. he just has the personality or charisma of a blank wall but even a wall is better to look at too. even his name is so freaking bland and forgettable especially when placed in the relative shadow of aruably the biggest name of the francise of the moment.
he got REALLY lucky when he got casted for this show and he probably knows it too because this is probably the all time high for his life. i cant imagine what productino was thinking unless they probably thought it would be a good idea to bring in some random, mediocre, completeltey unremarkable average joe so that viewers would have some similarly unremarkable person to relate to. in a movie he's like the "extra" on set...the boyfriend of the firend of the acquaintence of the main character that dies off in the first few seconds in the middle of the most boring part of the film that you coudnt even remember. you can tell theyre trying to make him happen too with all the air time theyre giving him and embellishing theyre doing. i dont think it will work though because you cant sell a rock to somebody and tell them its gold.
i also will never forget how completely class-less and obnoxious he was on his season where he was constantly shitting with the DOOR OPEN on purpose. gross, as if anyone wants to see or think about anything related to this guy's pasty dumper that he rubbed in nany's face last season. you know you got nothing going for you when your real world legacy is related to your nasty butt and how openly crass you were with showing off your biological body functions.

I agree, I don't get how no one said anything... I respect Sarah Rice though saying it during the dome that Zach better give her some credit for once, she seemed to have Jonna's back in confessionals and stuff as well which was nice to see because Sarah used to dislike her.
I just hope his *** gets called out at the reunion by several people.

Since when is Jonna annoying? I always got the impression that the majority of the cast got along well with her or were at worst indifferent to her. Are we just talking about the misogynist club (Zach, Reilly, etc)?

She's not. That's just Reilly's justification for Zach treating her like ****.

Makes sense... Reilly is the worst guy on this season aside from Zach
not to mention on top of that fact, reilly was recently heard on podcast defending zach and his behavior towards jonna. he's clearly a full on zach-enabler. reilly supporters, where ya at?
I didn't listen to the podcast, but I remember somebody here saying that Johnny called Jonna annoying and said that's why nobody defended her.
Never mind, then.
so because some people made some comments that weren't so nice about Ashley you are back to hating Jonna?
Ashley had a different situation where she got to know him acting one way on the show, where he pretended to be this good old midwestern guy who didn't even believe in hooking up, and then outside the show she realized he was nothing like that.
i just rewatched it and these were some of his words
zach "told her how it is" and "did i care? no i didnt care"
thats defintely enabling as was filling in his blanks as portrayed on TV
I would be surprised if this ISN'T addressed at the reunion. Let's face it, the backlash against Zach is ALL OVER social media so I'm sure the cast saw it all before filming the reunion. They have to know that calling him out will be supported by the fans and it will only make them look better.JMO
I seriously wonder how Zach would behave if he was on a Battle of the Sexes.
Zach legit acted like that? ****!
maybe zach hasn't been on social media at all because his mommy saw his antics and grounded him
Did you not see San Diego....Zach acted like he was this southern gentlemen who wouldn't have *** with Ashley because he respected women and then she said he was the exact opposite of who he portrayed on the show than in real life.
And wait...Zach thought Ashley liked homophobes? And as for Frank, as much as I dislike the guy, I can tell he's intelligent, I feel weird complimenting him.

And just look at what happened here.
