Rewatching it back, it does seem like he might have faked it or exaggerated it because I didn't even see anything happen to him the first time? Did Leroy step on him? Idk I wouldn't be surprised if he faked it just because you could tell he was scared shitless to go against Leroy because he didn't want to get hurt. I felt bad for Wes because he couldn't really do anything but get low. If he was actually hurt then I respect him for going the second round but it did seem a little weird that it didn't look like anything happened.
I'm not saying that I know he was hurt because there really wasn't a huge collision or a super obvious part where you would go 'oh yeah that messed him up'. I can show where he would have been hurt if he was though. Also, it wasn't like he acted like his neck was broken, he just said 'my neck hurts' and presumably took a fairly short amount of time to make sure it wasn't anything major.
This is all very inconclusive, but it's the best MTV gave. Also this didn't look like a super high speed collision, but again hard to know what someone is feeling. So what is clear is that Leroy's right upper shin contacts Wes on the left shoulder/neck area. What is unclear, but looks possible is that at the same time Leroy's left knee is going into Wes' helmet.
This part is even more unknowable, but since I'm doing a frickin breakdown it seems right to at least consider it. Wes in Round 1 dives for Theresa and lands on his left shoulder. Those are the only 2 moments that stood out as possible for where Wes could have been hurt. These 2 things don't strike me as 'wow' moments where I would think someone would be hurt, but it's really hard to know what thing is going to tweak someone the right way to cause pain. It doesn't take much to cause a fairly intense muscle pain including just landing poorly on your own shoulder after a dive. It could have been completely made up, it's hard to know, not even the cast that were there seems to agree lol. I think it's important though that while it certainly wasn't just brushed off it didn't seem like Wes was playing it up and gritting teeth and making noise or acting like it was some huge injury. He acted like he was hurt and then realized he was okay and stayed in. That's my 'Is Wes hurting' breakdown lol. For transparency purposes I do root for Wes in these things so weigh that how you choose.
Thanks for the pictures : )
I do root for Wes as well despite not rooting for Theresa but yeah it is hard to tell. Maybe it was foreal but I could see why if he did fake it because he just didn't want to go again because Leroy is a beast and could hurt him. Idk maybe they will address it on the reunion.
Nany really proved this episode that she's wack. There's a difference in when Wes/Theresa cheered for Banany's elimination and the way Banany cheered in Wes/Theresa's elimination. Wes & Theresa were vocal about getting them out of the house and having Bananas eliminated. Banany were vocal about getting Wes hurt and even if it was fake or not, you don't joke about someone getting hurt. Nany this season wasn't a good look for her personality wise. Honestly, I'l be happy if Bananas wins his heat and Nany loses her heats to Nany or Theresa (depending on the whole DQ thing). That will knock Nany a couple of notches knowing that she was the reason for their elimination twice.
Guys, it's not like Wes and Leroy had their own head against eachother, they played Hall Brawl with their female partners and Theresa could've won against Nia...so again faking this injury because he doesn't want to go against Leroy again, just does not make sense, especially when his partner has a good chance winning for them ...

I actually think Jordan could do that. Bananas is stronger but Jordan seems fast and I think his endurance may be better. And Sarah is better than Nany...
Jordan has endurance but Sarah has proven she doesn't several times. I could see Banany beating them. Expierence is really important when it comes to the final.
I hope Leroy learns a lot from this challenge. It really ****** me off that he plays such a "stupid" (for lack of better word) game. He's strong, but he lacks in every other department. Playing the game straight up isn't how you win. You've been on these shows long enough now to make a reputation and build better alliances. Then again, he's paired up with Nia who pretty much sucks at everything. Had he have been with Theresa (which he should've been with) he probably could've ended up winning it.

i'm crying at this because theresa plays absolutely awful as far as socially/politics go

Theresa's more the "ride the backseat and let my partner handle everything" type... unless she's paired up with someone like Jasmine. Plus, I meant as far as Theresa's physical abilities, her and Leroy would've been a strong team and they wouldn't be going in dome's almost all the time.
That entire post was about building alliances and how to win, etc. so yeah I didn't take how good they are as competitors into account. She's just recently adopted that strategy and even mentioned it's because she was paired with Wes.
Leroy will have a hard time winning anything if he doesn't learn how to swim & this challenge was full of swimming comps & Nia will be hard to beat in eliminations in the future also let's not forget this is only her second challenge

Why do people come on these challenges not knowing how to swim? They know that swimming/water challenges are a main part of these things.
I don't think Wes faked it at all. It really looked like he was in pain when he said his neck hurts. I don't think any of the guys left in the game had any chance against Leroy in Hall Brawl lol he reminds me of a male Aneesa. He's kind of alright in the missions but he's an assassin in elimination rounds.

I honestly don't think Leroy is built for reality TV. About all of the dudes are ******** that don't mind lying and conniving, and that just isn't him. He would've been better suited in the old era of the show where a dude like him could thrive. A Landon, Alton, Darrell could play straight up and win, nowadays that just ain't happening.....

We agree. On Nany and Katya

Theresa makes ******* moves and Leroy makes no moves but they would have been good physically.

Leroy messed up in a few challenges that sent him to the dome. He ends up being Teresa partner during the final, and still didn't win it.

Jay I feel like is the only guy left that could've taken Leroy down in Hall Brawl.
Jay would have got wrecked...Jenna, on the other hand, would have kicked his ***!
YES and would've dragged Nia all around!! #JOKES
#JennaTheRealMVP
Are you trolling?
What? No.
Jenna is obviously the greatest competitor in the history of The Challenge.

Are you replying to me? My comments were meant for the person who said jay could handle Leroy in hall brawl.lol
I think Leroy being in the final answered your question
