doubt shell be changing herself because its pretty difficult to change your base personality. all you can do is block or guard your real self and instincts with walls of inhibition and reservation. nia was pretty tame for MOST of the season but when youre in situations like this with so much pressure and people constantly clawing, burning, freezing, pummeling, etc. down your walls then the beast comes out. bring in a psychotropic like alcohol and its done deal.
nia will be nia and fans will continue to love her and detractors will continue to hate her.
watching all these people for years...do we know anybody on this show that has actually legitimately changed their personality without influence from lifechanging traumas, age, or drugs? inconsistent edits purposely displaying critical personality differences from show to show dont count.
if nia floated by this season like jay/jenna then she wouldve remained tame and easily polite, in command of her emotions and actions under a controlled and low stress situation and people would be talking about how she changed.

but some things still do slide though, lik i notice nobody really made a big deal out of bananas and all of his hispanic, latina jokes towards nany about eating tacos or being a maid, etc. but then you had people going crazy when zach made those gender comments and emily/camila doing black face
I think what makes Nia look worse is her partner. Leroy is the exact opposite of her and maybe in contention as one of the most well liked castmembers in RW/Challenge history. At times he looks like the only sane person on the show, and then you see him vehemently trying to talk his partner down to no avail. If she was partnered with Jordan or someone a little more confrontational she wouldn't look so bad. But she's with an uber laid back good guy, and she sticks out even more.

I thought I was the only that noticed that.Imo racist slurs are worst than gay slurs(no slurs shouldn't be said at all) but for some reason Nia is just a monster to some people and Johnny isnt.

shes one of the only girls that will put jordan in his place though she obviously went a bit too far lol
