Brad's issue by the end was he realized how badly he screwed himself. I'm sure he thought that the challengers would win more challenges and, even if he didn't win the final, he'd go home with decent money rather than the 2K he would have wound up actually getting. He probably gets 5x that in appearance fee. Had he not actually cut that deal I don't think the challengers would've won the whole thing, but odds are he would've still made the final with a) better people and b) more money in his pocket. They were handily winning the 4th challenge before Casey threw it. A move that resulted in another challenger guy going home, and the champions cutting Katie, their weakest link.
At the end of the day I don't really care as I'm not a Brad fan and I actually liked everyone on the champion team other than Wes, but he really shot himself in the foot and that challenge would've been a little more competitive in the second half.
So what you're saying is that Brad ruined what could have been possibly a great season both competitively and with its cast? Another reason to dislike that *** head.
hehehe who would ahve won between these two steroided jerks.
I miss this Wes. The Ruins was the last time we saw the "confrontational, in your face, I will beat your *** and send you home" Wes.
I think because up to that challenge he was never sent home in an elimination round. So people were more intimidated, then he lost to cohutta who he should have easily been able to beat in a physical thing.
Veronica and Wes were amazing when they flipped the deliberation to Ibis going in instead loool.
That was glorious. Keeping worthless Ibis around over Veronica was just stupud. If only Veronica had alligned with Wes from the beginning. She probably could've gotten Syrus & Katie on board too. The Ruins would have been an amazing challenge has the ******** (Kenny, Evan, Bananas, Susie, Johanna) been sent home early.

That was the only time we saw that Wes.
And they look like they're about to kiss very angrily. Evelyn is totally gonna steal the footage from production and put it online.
Not really. Wes was like that on Fresh Meat and The Duel. On Fresh Meat he wasn't confrontational in a physical way, but he was so rebelious and confrontational in terms of not being afraid to go against the mob and tell them how he felt. On The Duel he was the same way, he was one of the top tier competitors along with CT and Evan. He wasn't afraid to call out Derrick and wasn't afraid to get in CT's face at the end. Now, all Wes says is how scared he is of CT. Even in elimination rounds he cowers down and gets manhandled instead of doing work like he used to do. He isn't really one of the top tier guys anymore in terms of atheltic and physical ability. Swimming is his only strength anymore. And obviously he will go down in history as the best polictical player on The Challenge. It is so entertertaining to watch Wes politic on challenges.

Dont forget rivals 2
Yeah he got kinda confrontational with Johnny on Rivals II also but I feel like that was only because CT had his back. I don't think Wes would have got in Johnny's face like that if he were by himself. Also, he was way more amped up on The Ruins than he was on Rivals II. Wes will always be one of my favorite guys on the challenge, I just wish he actually trained and worked out before these things so he could be a physical threat as well as a political threat.

The elimination round that Wes and Cohutta faced off in wasn't physical...
When I think of a physical elimination round I think of Hall Brawl, X Battle, Rag Doll, Back Off, Balls In, Pole Wrestle, etc.
Spool was more strategy than physical. I mean yeah you had to use physical excersion to get through it, but it was all strategy. Just watch Seasons, the elimination round with the rope was the strategy Arena.
Also, I've listened to many podcasts and read a shit ton of interviews saying that both the Challengers and Champions teams were helping Cohutta out the entire time during that elimination round. Any other elimination round on that season, Wes would have beaten Cohutta in.

I loved Duel/FM Wes. I was rooting for him both seasons. CT/Wes's fight at the end on the Duel was one of my favorite fights haha
"Why don't I fake date someone to get to the end of this ******* thing"

Same here. I was rooting for Wes on Fresh Meat, The Duel, and The Ruins. He annoyed me on Fresh Meat II. I was pretty indifferent about him on Rivals as I wanted CT to win that challenge. And I was rooting for him on Exes, Seasons, Rivals II, and Exes II.

I think Tonya is the first Reality TV contestant to start the tradition of throwing someone's clothes into a swimming pool. I might be wrong but I can't remember anyone else who did that before Tonya. No one can top her. That will always be an epic moment.
Back to the First Battle of the seasons they wanted every season of RW and RR represented on the challenge, that means 40 cast members. For RW San Francisco, Jo and Puck. But Puck dropped out days before departure. RW Hawaii was supposed to be represented by Ruthie and Colin (Amaya was contacted). RR1 none of the girls were available and RR Islands Jake and Kalle were withdrawn.

Just noticed The Island is the last challenge only 1 person goes home per episode.

ehhh Duel he got into CT's face right? that was pretty awesome. and i bet CT was intimidated by that red-head.

Don't know if someone posted this before:

With a combined total of 18 elimination rounds, the cast members of RW:Cancun have only won 2 of them.
flops
And one of those wins was because it was 2 Cancun girls against each other.
Actually 3 eliminations!
Derek/Robb, Jonna, Jasmine/Jonna
in my eyes, CJ beat ZACH too .
Technically he didn't...
Yeah I know but if it was only guys round, lets say in Duel or something... bye bye big *** baby
Yeah it was funny when he pulled his huge *** down and then ran lol
Aw man I wish Colin and Ruthie were on, they're some of my favorites as you can tell by my avatar lol

Very true! lol
The chances of them winning are soooo small its hard to remember when someone like Jonna actaully won an elimination.
Btw bluehatchet, I love how you are one of the only people that are supportive of Jenna
Surprised someone like CJ hasnt been that dominant in Challenges
