I didn't like him on Real World but on the challenges he didn't bother me plus with the way this cast is looking it looks like its going to be a bunch of newbies so I want to see all the vets we can.

Probably because everything he does is 1.5x faster than it needs to be.

Older competitors who haven't been on a challenge in 6-7 seasons would be difficult to forsee on a future challenge given the changes in production.
