Back to Las Vegas trailer was pretty good as well. Well, more so the casino b-roll opening and that Las Vegas Nights song. The second half of the trailer was pretty generic.
That's what I'm saying. Most of the trailers have good parts but most of the time they are poorly done. Portland intro was the only one that really felt done right. It started with hapiness to sadness and then drama.
The Portland trailer was great. I feel like I'm one of the only people that really enjoyed that season. I thought the cast was awesome and I knew they were all going to be really entertaining on the challenges.
I actually really liked that season too but I think the problem was the cast didn't seem to gel well together. The only stand outs were Jordan and Nia with Averey and Johnny in supporting roles. Everyone else was just there most of the time.
I agree with you. I loved the cast but they really hated each other haha I didn't like the finale because it seemed like everyone was glad to leave Portland. There was like zero emotion. I also didn't like how Johnny and Averey decided to leave the house early. I really enjoyed the Johnny/Averey vs. Nia drama and the Jordan/Nia rivalry but I was hoping for all of them to make up towards the end and become friends. At least Averey and Nia are friends now lol
It's a shame Portland had to come after two "dud" seasons in a row...Portland was gold & Nia is the sole reason i even got back interested in both RW & The Challenge.
Random, but I think RW should start alternating between regular seasons & "twist" seasons.
I definitely feel like Portland was an above average season, but the cast was not very likable imo. A good amount of drama, but lacked light hearted and fun moments. I prefer Skeltons to it. Still a solid season though.

my problem with Portland is that some episodes were on fire, some were just placeholders, soem were decent, and than there were some that were SO MIND NUMBLING BORING. it was inconsistent.
Explosion all in all had a more likable cast, the only ones i couldn't stand were Thomas and Cory. plus the romance was pretty awesome #BearSex to the fullest. also all of the houseguests that came in were actually relevant.
Skeleton however is better in terms of everyone on that Season was relevant and added drama. Even Nicole. The stoyline was easier to follow. And the character development in this Season was better than Explosion sooo....
Explosion: Likable Cast, Romance, Relationships with their houseguests
Skeletons: Relevant Cast, Character Development, Storyline
Now this may be the tie breaker: which season had better Drama? for me i really can't decide.
and ya'll can also voice your own opinions, like for example you could switch it up and say: Explosion had a better storyline and skeletons had better romance.
I say Skeletons had the better drama. Some of the drama in Ex-plosion seemed pointless(Cory and Brian) wheras with Skeletons pretty much all of the drama there was good and had a place.
And as far as Portland..eh I'll admit that it was a step up from San Diego/St Thomas but honestly that's not saying much since The cast as a whole seemed unlikable. But that cast has been really good for the challenges and I've enjoyed them there more so that's a plus.
Ex-Plosion hands down. That cast was one of the most likable in years. The drama? I can't compare since I didn't watch Skeletons. But Hailey slaying the OGs with the truth trumps anything that bunch could ever do.
I loved Ex-Plosion too! I had so many favorites on Ex-Plosion like Ashley M, Brian, Hailey and Jenny. That was hands down the best season IMO since RW: Back to Las Vegas. I was really entertained.
I think Skeletons should have been just a regular season since all of the cast members had interesting storylines. The twist was really stupid. It should have just been called RW: Back to Chicago. I thought the cast was good but the only person I liked was Madison. I didn't care for anyone else. I still wish that season had a reunion though.
I the Skeletons was better than Explosion because I didn't like the OGs kicking out their Exes in almost every episode. The Skeletons cast were trying to do the same thing in the beginning but they stopped and knew to mind their own business.

Both skeletons and explosion were trash, last great season was vegas2.
I wouldn't say trash. compared to San Diego 2 they're premier. St Thomas was alright but excluding people on an island just ended up in prank wars and etc. and Portland's cast was more unlikable than any cast (outside of San Diego) and very inconsistent.

ehh true, but the houseguests in Skeletons almost seemed pointless outside of Madison (her sister, not her ex) and Tony's. Jason's skeleton had potential but nope. his father was a bum so that killed it.
Sylvia's Skeleton: Worthless.
Vi's skeletons: cringeworthy at best in making an interesting storyline. although it was funny to watch Jason once again fail at being a player.
Bruno's and Jason's: both had potential to be screenworthy. but it seemed like Briah had already made up with Bruno. and Jason's dad, well that's explainable. just wanted his 15 minutes of fame.
Nicole's: just filler. no identity of their own and it was all about Nicole
while every Ex on Ex-Plosion added something to that Season, except for Ashley Caesar (Arielle' Ex) .
It's a shame how one of the worst seasons (Back to San Diego) aired after one of the best seasons. I think that season made a lot of viewers tune out because it was awful. Back to New Orleans and Back to Las Vegas were great seasons that resulted in great ratings. I'd say those two were the best seasons in the new generation of Real World. I loved how both finales were really emotional. I'm surprised how it took a long time for the NOLA cast members to appear on a challenge.

I agree both were some of my favorite seasons ever.
For someone who has seen the B2NY season: whatever happened betwen Coral & Nicole? From the clips I've seen of that season they seemed to get along great, but I remember hearing a rumor on an old forum that they had an unaired argument. I've seen Coral talk kindly about Miz, Lori & Malik in interviews but I have never seen her say anything about Nicole...just thought it was weird since they seemed to get along but apparently they didn't?
like I've said before they are no longer cool make up bag and all

ExPlosion>Skeletons but Skeletons is still one of my favorites
