Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance - Play to Win

So glad Tasha isn't getting hate on here. Other sites are giving her so much shit and making up reasons to hate her and calling her all sorts of names. It's so annoying.... she's playing a great game whether you like her or not. She was put in a sucky situation but has managed to have a lot of control since the swap along. I love her.

I don't think she is, almost everyone who's out have said she comes across too strong and rude at times in Jeff, Peih Gee, and Monica. She completely mishandled Kass and sent her to the jury upset with her and the first jury member always sets the tone. I have no issue with her lying to Kass, but the "haha you think I'm gonna tell you the truth?" was unnecessary, especially when she wasn't sure if the jury was starting at 13 or 12.

This kinda makes what Trish said about her ring true, but it was never seen in the edit.

It's very very clear that Varner was just SUPER bitter about his vote-off and then Varner kept talking shit at ponderosa which made all the pre-jurors have a gang mentality against Tasha.

Tasha is great friends with J'tia, Spencer, Morgan, etc. + people from other seasons outside of the show with the exception of Trish (delusional), Tony (bitter), and I heard Sarah? She's simply just a confident, strong, independent black woman and people don't like it. If she was younger, white, and looked like Parvati she'd have x3 as many fans as she does.

I mean when everyone who's played with her doesn't have good things to say, it's not looking good for you. These interviews are done MONTHS after playing the game so the excuse that Varner poisoned the group against her isn't gonna work. People liking Tasha outside the show has literally zero revelance when she was delusional and rude during the show. Multiple people said she'd talk about how God has chosen her as the winner and she's deciding who to take with her. LJ, Jefra, Woo, Trish, Tony, Jeremiah they all were annoyed with her at some point. What's ironic is Trish isn't even delusional because everything she said is coming to be true when people are trashing her again. Tony isn't even bitter lol he's fine with her not voting him, he still a million. Stop making things about her race and face that she's not this likable player/person like the edit tried to portray.

Oh don't even go there, race has a lot to with things going on in this world and i'm not going to stop talking about it because it makes you uncomfortable. Race is a big factor especially when it comes to african americans.

*Black woman is outspoken* - She's ghetto/ratchet

*Black person is on welfare* - Lazy

*Unarmed black man shot by police claiming self defense* - Thug

You don't hear white people called these things for doing the exact same thing. The list goes on an on..

*Black person shoots black person* - Black people need to stop black on black violence! They need to get it together, they're ruining this country

*White person shoots up entire school/movie theater/church - Mentally unstable and needs help. Why aren't white people as a whole being blamed?? hm

Not in the mood for arguing but if you don't like Tasha because of what a few people said about her, cool.

What kass had to say about tasha from
http://cartermatt.com/185231/survivor-cambodia-second-chance-exclusive-k...
"She was insecure, she was afraid of me, but I would’ve gone to the end with her because I know she can’t win this game. Her personality is so hypocritical and angry and sanctimonious. She’s a great person to go to the end with, so that’s why it was funny that she could target me."

I don't get Kass cause they didn't get along apparently in Cagayan either but they're friends outside of the show? Attended J'tias wedding along w/ Spencer & Brice together before Second Chances filmed and all looked like they had a great time.

Also Kass keeps talking about not being bitter but that's all she's showing in interviews..

On top of that she said she'd vote the person that changed their game and made the most of their second chance.. that's exactly what Tasha did, she learned not to trust you, you drew the line in the sand, and she got you out. Don't be mad..

When did I say it made me uncomfrotable? Race has nothing to do with not liking Tasha, when multiple people have said how annoying she can be that isn't shown and even then fans found her "Tasha fierce" thing cringeworthy too. You literally turned this into a race thing, but like when so many people talk about how annoying you are on the island, is it them all being racist or you being socially unaware of how you come off?

This isn't surprsing though since this isn't the first time you made a survivor discussion about race lol.

They didn't get along after Kass flipped when Tsha literally didn't reassure her at all tha she was in a good place in the alliance.

Tasha is entitled to not trust Kass, but the way she handled it was awful. I mean maybe she should have been more gracious since it wasn't sure if Kass made jury or not and the first juror always set an important tone for the entire jury.

I listened to an interview with Kass and she said at Ponderosa Tasha & Kass hung out together cause the girls (i'm guessing Sarah & Trish.. maybe Morgan) were being catty.

Nevermind, typing that out reminded me of everything and how their relationship was.

They were okay on the island until Kass flipped. They were okay with each other at ponderosa, followed each other on twitter & everything. They were tweeting at one another. Then the moment the merge episode aired Tasha did a complete turn around and started talkin shit about Kass on twitter. I remember it being so funny to watch but weird because literally a few days before they were talking like they were friends. Kass mentioned in her interview that the episode must've brought back memories to Tasha which set her off.

After that I never really knew where they stood but like I said they were at J'tia's wedding together & supported each other on twitter when america was voting for the Second Chance cast lol. They're like frenemies.

Yeah it's weird, but I'm guessing when the merge hit it might have brought back Cagayan memories.

Also intereting tidbit, apparently Kass vs. Tasha was a lot more heated than shown and was even a racial incident involved (not from Kass, but it wasn't revealed who) and apparently Savage is getting a much better edit. Things like thinking Jerry Springer is amazing, but hatign Oprah and calling her a ***** "like any woman in power". This came from someone who was watching the episode live with Ciera in Salem. Interesting to say the least...

Oh trust me I love to talk about race on other sites & people hate me for it but I don't give a shit. When I notice a pattern/double standard or something like that I like to bring it up. It's just fascinating once you really focus on how race may or may not play a factor in the game. Sorry if I got a little too aggressive but I get so pissed of when someone says "using the race card" "why are you bringing up race" cause it's something that SHOULD be talked about, not ignored to make those that don't have to deal with race being a factor in their life happy.  I don't really talk about it much for The Challenge cause i've said many times that The Challenge casts seem to very open-minded but when it comes to Big Brother.. that's a different story.

But even when I do bring up race about The Challenge it's just more of a statistic thing. It's just fun to research. Like how a black person hasn't won since the Gauntlet 3 and why. Why the black contestants seem to suck at swimming.  Why the black women don't have showmances as often as everyone else. Stuff like that is fun to have conversations about.

Right, but whe n you're making this assumption that people (including myself) don't like Tasha because oif her race, that's totally not ok and something I see as pulling the race card. I don't care if she was white, Asian, Hispanic, etc. she was annoying and is annoying to me. I love Val, Cirie, JTia, Sean Rector, and Taj, all african american.  I'm sure SOME fans may not like Tasha and race might be involved, but that isn't the case at all for me.

Oh thanks for that link.. that's interesting. I'm betting either a racial discussion was brought up at camp and someone said something hella ignorant, or someone brought up splitting up certain people cause they'll stick together due to their race like what happened with Vecepia & Sean in Marquesas.

I love Tasha, I don't see how people call her "extra".. Althought I havent watched much of her yet on her first season she doesn't seem extra to me at all.
