I really hope they use more black girls & guys because I feel like they can really fill up african spots that are needed. Like Wes, Nelson, Prosper(if he's relevent) & girls Paris, Chelsey, Kaylen like free agents esque.

Plus Ceejai, Jason, Latoya, Nia, Marlon, etc. Just anyone other than Leroy

It's a shame because he was so cool back in the day now he's just Bananas butt buddy

I saw that, and had to rewind it to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.  Leroy might've told Dario, "Hey bruh, Johnny said that thang is good, you might wanna holla."  And Dario took heed lol....

or they squashed their beef because they realized the theme was rivals and they thougt they might have to work together ? ****. really good and original guess tho

Well you can squash the beef and not be hugged up like they were.  They looked like they were about to Netflix and chill lol...

Not impressed with the AYTO girls none of them seem particularly interesting to me.

Not even Brianna? She has the resting ***** face after all. sadface

Nah. One was sitting in a chair and the other was sitting on the arm of the chair and they were talking quietly to each other. I know to challenge producers that's enough to qualify them as exes but that's a pretty big reach imo

Its my guilty pleasure lol MTV is just great at doing bad trailers for their reality tv in my opinion.

Only******* with TRUE core strength, balance, and precision can pull that shit off.

ive got to also give props to vince.. if he didnt hold up jenna she wouldnt beable to perform

I can imagine it will include the typical shit like two people kissing under water, a guy being a ***** about some thot, **** trying to avoid the truth booth, and the host telling them they are one big group of idiots. Smile

It's hard to do a good trailer when the actual show itself is garbage.

Real world and challenge ( I like the rivals 3 one) trailers are also trash.

I have enjoy way more the 3 seasons of ayto, than the current real world season.

Rivals 3's trailer wasn't bad at all! Lmaooo.

It's just the trailers for AYTO were the same imo.. I'm hoping for something good this time.

Okay? I tried to watch AYTO and it didn't hold my intrest. The shit is boring and the concept is stupid to me.

And RW/Challenge trailers aren't that bad to me.

Boy bye. Skeletons + GBOGH trailers were completely atrocious. But I've always liked the challenges trailers. Still lost at how free agents trailer sucked but okay.

Was it me or was Devin's teeth yellow AF in the first episode. I know he doesn't put on deodorant but did he just say **** hygiene all together?

The Challenge: Rivals III...

On one hand, it's truly depressing that we've already made it to the second sequel of Rivals. Take a glance at this cast and the doom and gloom gets even worse.

Fortunately the cloud of dust is lifted by not quite fantastic, yet still very satisfying editing. Badlad put it best. Structurally the premiere was solid. The skydiving segway into the heart of the game was a nice touch, and a throwback to older seasons. It's as if MTV knew they had a shit cast, so they had to step up the game in every other area.

AYTO felt oddly natural, and I enjoyed that. The scene with Simone saying that RW hates them was a decent plot point, and I hope it's fleshed out over the course of the season. Longform storytelling is something the show desperately needs. That same scene was ruined by Brandon, who is absolutely god awful. I like Briana though, there's something about her that I see potential in. Legendtina's lowkey edit will hopefully result in a slow burn to greatness. Nate is a total bottom and I'm living for it. Cheyenne is gorgeous. Devin has a big head but he's sexy. Dario is hit or miss with me. And Simone is a Challenge star. Yeah she was extra as ****, but I don't give a single ****. LOVE HER.

Ashley was a fantastic casting decision, loving the **** out of her. I think she'll be a champion in a season or two, if not by the end of this one. And she got Jamie's seed... Jealous af.

Nany is my ******* ***** this season. Her and Wes are godsend. She is not a queen just yet, but she's on the right track if she plays Wes's game. Her cousin is a monstrosity though. He needs to admit he has a Y chromosome and ditch the contacts ASAP.

To me the biggest issue was Johnny & Sarah. That team really brings down the entire premiere for me. They shouldn't even be there, and their whole rivalry is absolute bullshit. She played to win her first season. He's played the same game to win five times prior to that so-called "betrayal." ******* nonsense. Then again, most of these pairs are nonsense.

It does seem like there's a cultural theme that extends into the challenges, like the presence of the skulls and such. Gives it a Survivor-esque vibe.

Even the highlights of the premiere can't cover up the laziness in terms of casting and theme. They went with what was easy. The regulars have become a chore to watch. The newbies have potential and they need to make use of it. But none of these people, both new and old, have standout personalities. No Corals. No Beths. No Abrams. No Veronicas. No Katies. No Jennys. No Maries. They're literal representations of the fact that anyone can be on TV in this day and age. A few gems have what it takes to prove me wrong, and I hope they do.

YES LURK! -- Brianna and her confessionals are gonna be everything.

"I'm the queen... He needs to know that"

this is the only problem, these people are trying to make a name for themselves it shouldn't have to follow in someones footsteps, like Nia she made a brand on her own. I agrre majority don't make a name for themselves but that (this that person) gets tiring.

that's part of the reason why ayto added to the mix is so exciting it gives a chance for new storylines.

I knew Lurker would like Simone.

They're both extra. It's a match made in Heaven.

theres a trailer already ?

Sounds like someone who won't admit that they like the show because of all the shit talking they did before hand #HMM

Loved thi premiere, Cheyyenne is perfect. Highlight of the episode was Devin's confessional where he mocked Simone lol

IMO Simone/Devin and Ashley seem like reality TV characters than majority of the newbies. The rest just seem like try hards but I feel they can blossom though.

I love how  everybody just say Chey is pretty but never comments on her personality, cause I feel she's more than a pretty face.

How was she on AYTO?

Smart, down to earth and *****y when she needed to be. Melanie, Chelsey and Chey where the only sane ones and out of them she is the most entertaining I think.

I wanted them to hook up so bad. But I lost hope when they got into a fight last season and now she has a boyfriend.

I said that to Hannah and she blocked my *** on ig. Zak is such a losserAlso I put a noise emoji on a pic of Kiki's being funny and she blocked me too.

HAHAHA that's so childish but also funny.

THIS.

I do think there are some or some who have potential to be standouts and be like those Challenge gems we loved and remembered back then in this newer generation like Nany, Dustin, Frank, Nia, Jordan, Cory, Jenny, Brian, Ashley M., Jay, Jenna C., Bruno, Sylvia, Tony, Christopher, Dione, Jenna T., CeeJai, Devin, Simone, Brittany, Adam K., Theresa, Cara Maria, Brianna J., Vince, Shane and that's probably it tbh.

KellyAnne back then had it but now to me she's like a bad version of Diem. Cohutta is cute but kinda boring. His Nany hookup was fun but now whats left? Laurel is just a bully. Cooke could have tookover and done better. Zach is just a giant but all he ever does is complain. Marie is debatable I just haven't seen enough. I would maybe add Trey and CJ in there if they were given another chance. Averey possibly. Jemmye was only good for commentary LOL and all LaToya would do each season is cuss people out but the way Simone does is it is much better to me.
