Wait. You haven't seen any season before the island?....Oh my dear boy......
To be honest there's not much to see before that. The older shows were lame. Half hour shows with basic challenges. Plus the casts always lacked... "diversity"
lol at the early seasons lacking diversity...Coral Darrell Alton Veronica basically ran the show. Diversity may have been lacking in the Middle School era but definitely not on Seasons-g2

Haha, I was too young then I guess. Besides I like being familiar with the characters on the show. Maybe I'll check out the link you sent though. Thanks!
You guys are missing the point. Imo the casting and people sucked in the earlier shows. But it's hard to even judge those earlier seasons when they were only half an hour long. Only "old schoolers" who stand out would be Abram, Darrell, Coral and Kenny. Mark, Alton, Brad, Tyler, Nehemiah, Dunbar, (and even tho I like him I'd say Derrick too) etc are one big snooze fest.
This episode was a totally waste of time. They could've done that in 15 minutes and had another mission. So boring to go over who they are going to go after. That was pretty darn evident already.
This isn't a bad season, but I am a little disappointed so far? It was way too hyped up and I feel like all the episodes are so scattered adn random. I don't know what to expect and it jsut seems like its dragging on forever. I hope it really picks up.
I am excited to see my King Jordan next episode <3 i'm ready for that drama <3
I think now that all aspects of the game are introduced, save for the $1 mil twist, the structure of the episodes, the pace and story lines will progress.
Might be the most truthful post in the thread. I mean, what the **** would most of you rather be watching on a Tuesday night that you need this season to zip by quick? I don't mind it being drawn out at all -- more challenge equals less of some other bullshit MTV would put on instead.
As far as the episode, finally watched it. Sucks to see Darrell gone and Kailah needs to get her shit together, but I'll address the two random people that people here seem smitten with.
Amanda -- stock up: This is by far the most impressed I've ever been with her since she joined the show. Not only was she not the yapping, spastic chihuahua she's been on previous seasons, but she showed some heart and class. She gave Jenna a run despite being massively outsized and handled the loss with a humility that was unexpected since it hasn't been part of her character arc. Camila acting like a piece of shit also made me more sympathetic. She's not a "legend" (that term is thrown around way too haphazardly here) and won't be till she actually gets some competition victories over Camila, but she put on a good show.
Marie -- stock down: It's one thing to have shitty strategy, but don't compound it by going on an apology tour. Let Jemmye take the heat for the Jenna thing -- don't put yourself out there to be more of a target. Was funny seeing Veronica give her a strategy clinic though.

This poor fella is missing out on some great seasons
Haha!! You better Rednecognize!! Mama June look like 2010 Jemmye now though.
Nostalgia is fun and all but those older seasons were boring
The rugby game between the male Vets and rookies was one of the greatest games EVER
