Did anyone finish out the season? Like is it worth going back and watching? I stopped at episode 3 because it was a mess.

I finished watching it & I have a feeling you will be disappointed. No where close to being as good as season 1 was. Season 2 did get better as the season went along though, but that's not saying much lol. But if you're a true Nic Pizzolatto fan I suggest finishing off the season just to see what you think. I am really interested in what direction they will be taking for season 3. Hopefully it will be better thought out.

I still haven't seen the finale. I started it, realized it was 1.5 hours and just didn't have the desire to sit through it.

“The next installment of True Detective tells the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods.”

TRUE DETECTIVE IS BACKKKKKKKK

Holy shit!!!!!!!

Hypeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M SO EXCITEDDDDDDDDDDDD

The fact they're going back to formula that made season 1 so amazing ❤️❤️❤️

they better have learned from their mistakes on season 2, that season was a mess

Can't wait for True Detective to return to greatness.  This season sounds closer to season 1 & I am loving what we have learned about season 3 so far. Nick seems to be back on his game. The Ozarks seems like an interesting place for this story to unfold. Hoping the season is creepy & scary involving more cult activity or some type of serial killings over the 3 different time periods. Who's ready for a good mystery to solve??

I'm glad Pizzolatto took some time to develop the script. It does seem like return to form, and I'm really excited for Jeremy Saulnier (Blue Ruin was fantastic). Bring it on!

Anyone heard anymore about the third season yet?
