I think Nelson would have gone far if he didn't get kicked off
I don't read spoilers, I thought he was gonna be runner up again this season ****. If he could learn how to fit in better socially he's bound for end game every time and I could see him eventually snatching up a win. Bananas isn't unbeatable, neither is CT.

I would take Leroy on my team every time (unless there's swimming involved). Nelson's final was more of a result of him playing in the easy bracket than anything else -- no way he would have sniffed a final if he had to face a Darrell, Bananas, Zach or CT in an elimination. Leroy has made multiple finals and has eliminated players like Bananas and Wes multiple times. He's also not prone to shitting all over himself out of emotion, be it in a challenge or just in the house.A player like Leroy would have a title in the big-team era, no doubt. Nelson isn't bad, but I think people on this board are so eage for the new guys to emerge that they get a little ahead of themselves. If Nelson (and Hunter for that matter) can just use their brains every so often that would help a ton. I did enjoy CT trying to take Hunter under his wing a bit in this episode -- one former hothead trying to counsel a current hothead.
True, and CT was definitely trying to put the young bull on game, and he didn't have to at all...
Yeah, that was pretty cool, even though Hunter wasn't really taking it in. But I bet similar conversations with a young CT back in the day went the same way. Stuff like that might eventually have an impact. Hunter obviously has the physical tools to be really good at this game, he's just mentally fragile as ****.
When CT was first doing these shows most of the cast were around his age. People forget he debuted many years ago. There weren't many almost 40 year olds doing the show with him
Mark Long was pretty old, but yeah, in general that's correct. I'm just saying a young CT probably wouldn't have had a similar reaction back in the day if the conversation had happened.

THANK YOU. He stuck his nose in where it didn't belong. That's not on Nelson. But Nelson was still wrong though.
how? He was by their bedroom and and Nelson is being ageist. Derrick had every right to say something to Nelson. Thank the Lord he's gone. If you're gonna talk trash make sure the people you're talking trash about aren't in hearing distance. He's an Idiot.
How the **** was he being ageist? Nelson said ANYBODY can get it. Not just the vets and not just Derrick either. Nelson didn't say anybody in particular so no. There was no need for Derrick to say anything in the first place. His name wasn't in it so he shouldn't have jumped in it.
He just said "old ****s" to which in Derrick's defense, includes him. He made a small comment, that wasn't antagonisitic and Nelson flipped the **** out. Nelson is a grown *** man, he should know how to restrain himself. SO it's all Nelson's fault. Also, Hunter was right, NElson isn't an OG, so production will see things different;y than if an OG reacts that way, i.e, Camilla. Hence why he was DQ and Camilla was not.
Camila didn't punch someone................
She started smashing shit, picked up weights to what could have been use to hit someone and spewed out racial slurs. I still believe that had she not been a challenge staple like she is, she would've been DQ'd.

Nelson is such an idiot. lol. Stop drinking so much you dummy if you know you get like that!
Let me tell you, I've been watching Derrick from the very beginning since his Road Rules season. I used to have a little crush on him, but he used to be more of a loose cannon and I know for a fact he is no punk. He would have whooped *** if anyone touched him in the old days. But he's more mature and wise now and wants to stay in the game. I think it's so attractive that he cares so much about how his son sees him.
Also impressive is that Derrick made it across because that challenge was made for taller people. That's why I knew short girls like Cara would drop and leggy Jenna would make it across. Derrick really had to work to get across because he is a short fellow. Tony is tall and once again shows how clumsy and uncoordinated he is. Sobering up might do him good. I don't know.
Poor poor Hunter. I think Hunter's girfriend was just a ***** who couldn't go without getting some d for a long time. That's what it seemed like to me. That fight he started with Kailah was ridiculous, but the more emotional Hunter gets on these shows, the more turned on I am by him. He just needs some love and to stay away from these bad girls he takes up with.
I mean, I would kick off someone for trying to throw weights a **** of a lot quicker then kicking someone like Simone off for throwing a bottle. We can't rule out preferential treatment completely

Shards of glass can cause serious injury. That can't be overlooked -- though I agree that throwing weights should be a termination offense.

Nelson, what a *******. Hunter won so you basically won. You were good. Derrick was smart cause I feel like he knew what he was doing once Nelson started getting buck, let him hit you one less person you have to go against.

youre dead wrong
and you're blind for not catching the preferential status some cast members have and how lenient production is towards them.
As shitty as it is, racial slurs AREN'T a breach of contract, assault is. When besides for Tony and Shane, two rookies, have they ever not sent someone home for violence? They sent Camila home on rivals 3 for fighting with Tony, so clearly they have no problem with that .
Breaking shit isn't getting someone sent home, should Marie have been kicked off for pushing Sam into a pot then?
Just finished the episode and I'm annoyed. Another TBC.
If they're voting in V bc she didn't compete, they need to vote once Dario too. It's not her fault she wasn't chosen. Also ****** they've had multiple chances to throw bananas in automatically and they're not taking that chance.

Kailah saying Hunter shouldn’t be upset about his girlfriend breaking up with bc he is on a challenge is hilarious.you know if her boyfriend called and broke up with her she would have a mental breakdown

She's also a girl not this guy who acts like he's the toughest person ever and tries to make getting dumped into an inspirational thing
Kailah is so overrated. Hasn't done anything. Got dragged by Hunter. Riding on coattails. She had help from the guys on her team. Camila only fell because Jordan tricked her. Jemmye and Cara had to do it on their own. Kailah had help and couldn't get the job done.

Cory Nelson and Hunter want to be JEK but they can't rally people or run anything. And they're just as unlikeable.

Marie didn’t seek out to push Sam, she kind of was collateral damage
