Queen Laurel murdered that Challenge! Why do any of them believe Michael is 23 lmao

Because he doesn't look 18, and he has a successful job. Id believe he's in his twenties tbh.

He probably did a solid internship that landed him a good job off the bat. TBH, it aint that implausible for a handsome white man to get a good job at 18.

Yeah it isnt, but you still wouldn't automatically see through it lol. Remember we know he's not 23 but they have no reason to question it, he looks older, he has a successful job, and to them there's no reason not to believe it. He looks like he's in his twenties.

I disagree. He doesnt look that old at all and the moment he talks, it becomes very apparent. And In Survivor, you question everything. A lot of people have lied about their age and job. Pretty sure Chrissy lied about her age the previous season lol

My bad, I misinterpretted your previous comment. I fully agree with you. He looks like an early 20's stud muffin. Tbh, i'd peg him as 23-26.

I wouldn't do wll cause I'm too gullible, so id believe him if he said 30. Ive met baby face 30 year olds. lol

Chrissy lying about her age is different, that would be to try and avoid the older female curse. I find it hard  to believe if we didn't know his age that anyone would just automatically guess he's 18. That's the thing, you can say "oh it's very clear" but that's BECAUSE we know he's not. That's what peopl fail to understand about survivor, it's easy for us to know when somebody is lying but when your actually there its not. And even if they knew I'm sure Micheal being younger than he says is on nobody's radar because it's so minor.

And Mike would be trying to avoid what happened with Will on MvGen.....

My whole point is the only reason you're questioning it is because we know he's lying. The cast doesn't see bios, they dont hear confessionls, they have literally zero reason to think he's lying. And sure people lie on survivor all the time, but what, do you expect them to just blindly assume any and all personal details people say about themselves are a lie? Come on now. This is what people fail to understand, we hear what everyone is up to, we know what they lie about, the people on the show don't. They have no more reason to think he's not 23 or a realtor. Cole didn't tell anyone he was a rich app designer and nobody questioned why people didn't figure it out.

He doesn’t look 18 at all to me. He definitely looks older. If I was on his tribe, I would believe that he’s 23-24 more than I would believe that he was 18 lmao

Why think another player on Survivor is lying? Umm idk maybe because it survivor and thats what a lot of them do? If i didnt know that he was 18, just the way he looked/talked/acted wouldve made me at least think about it. Now you dont think he looks 18 which is why you think i only think it because i know that he is in fact 18. What im saying is, just because you dont immediately see it doesnt mean it wouldnt be obvious to others.

Jus blindly assuming anything somebody ever says is a lie just because your on survior is just insane and horrible gameplay. AGAIN there's literally no reason besides paranoia for them to just think he's lying about his age. What, would you think donathan is lieing about Kentucky, people have lied about where they live.

Im more confused about what he's actually said or did that screamed 18 year old as opposed to 23, what has he actually done on the show that would possibly tip them off? How hasn't he acted like every other 20 something hot guy? And I'm talking about non confessionals, what around camp has he done?

Michael totally and completely doesn't look 18. That's someone who I'd think is 23/24/25. Also that small tattoo helps a bit as well, I know people who get tattoos in their 20s, not right out of high school usually. My best friend got a small tattoo at 22.

Kellyn and laurel are my favourites tbh. But there are so many good players. The original Orange has much stronger players imo.

If Donathan had a canadian accent and said he was born and raised in Kentucky, yes i would assume something is up. Michael doesnt look 23 to me so i would assume something was up with him too. Maybe no one else feels that way lol. And whenever he talks, like at that tribal, he sounds quite young. Could be a lack of confidence though i guess

I honestly don’t think Michael looks older than 20. If I were a bartender I’d ID him in a heartbeat. And like you said, once he talks, it’s obvious.. At least, to me.

In most states you’re supposed to card anyone that looks younger than 40.

That honestly rarely happens (the under 40 part), especially in NYC where they’re more lenient due to most people using public transportation. If someone is “obviously” over 21 but not close to looking 30-40, a lot of the time they’ll get a pass.  But that’s beside the point. If I saw him drinking a beer or a cocktail, I’d question it in my head. He looks young to me, around 20.

I really wouldn't care enough about anyone's age to question if he was lying about his age or not.  If he says he's 23 that's awesome.  I'll roll with it.

The only thing to care about with someone’s age, is if people want to award an 18 year old the win. It shouldn’t matter about age, but some people can make it an issue. It could go one of two ways if he were to make FTC, he could be praised for fooling everybody, or he could get shit for lying about it. To some people it matters, but to others it’s no biggie.

Right--in this situation I think it would pretty much be a non-factor.  People would likely understand why he lied and he might get praised for appearing more mature than his age but I don't think it would sway too many votes.   Again, JMO

I agree with ya, especially with this cast. It’s a very positive cast so far.

Honestly, there are so many things on survivor you'd worry about that someone being younger is such a low priority.

This edit makes me think that Laurel, Domenick, and Donathan go pretty far. Last season's edits were all over the place especially when they'd start focusing on someone the episode they go home.
