I was under the impression it was his dad. If that were the case, **** yeah I would not be thinking about a Challenge a month later!
But oh well! If he joins the game again, is paired up with Cory, only luck will get them anywhere because they are NOT good competitors at all (regardless of the random *** "Devin is so smart" narrative is played out on vevmo)!
They also could not be called “mercenaries” and just another team competing to be in the same spot as the rest of them. People seem really hung up on the word “mercenary” as tho we weren’t calling the 8 people last season Heavy Hitters until MTV told us otherwise

I'm not hung up on the word "mercenary." I was just going off what was on the cast spoiler page.
My main point is regardless of what they are called, the fact that Devin could be looked at as a threat, for re-entering the game is so laughable! And completely stupid considering that the horrible person (with yellow teeth) left because of a emergency in the family. Yet, it's not that big a deal for the loser to come back afterwards.... seems like production is trying so hard to make Devin happen. Well, whoever is trying so hard to make Devin happen just needs to be fired at this point, because it will not pay off.

You seem to be the only horrible person here, making fun of someone who lost someone in their family. It was a month ago. Dwelling on it and not moving on isn't healthy. He LEFT the challenge because of it. If he didn't care he wouldn't have done that in the first place. Go away Banana troll.

It was his Dad. But who are we to judge? Do you know the circumstances surrounding his Dad's death? Was he terminally ill, and it was eventual? Was it all of a sudden? Was it an accident? The circumstances could drastically affect the grieving process. Maybe his Dad was sick, and his Dad told him "Go win that Challenge show!" and then his Dad p***ed so he came for the funeral. In that case I would think everyone would want to come back. There is no way to judge him on his return. Not to mention it would suck losing a loved one, and parent. But life goes on. And what better way to take your mind off things than to go compete in a tv show with the possibility of winning some part of $1M. I think that would be exciting, and a bit motivating to get things off your mind about losing a loved one.

You a dentist?
Yes, yes I am lol
That's good to hear I guess natural selection will run it's course eventually.
Dentists are 1.67 times more likely to commit suicide

You have to distract yourself somehow. I just had a close death in my family last month and it still hurts every day but distractions help.

Doubt any of that is the case when it comes to a try-hard like Devin. I would be more shocked if all that were actually true, than I would if : Devin lost, read this comment, and then try to p*** it off as that was his truth while on camera, in order to get fans (which he so desperately wants).
That aside, lets be real. Devin is not gonna grab any part of the $1 million prize because the guy won't make it there unless, like I said before, luck.
Vevmo is on a roll this week telling people how to Grieve and Raise Children. What’s next from this all knowing and powerful board of Reality TV watchers

right its like he probably went home to make sure he was at the funneral, after that he might not have wanted to sit at home when they called to if he wanted to come back, he can do what he wants. who are we to judge

Devin beat Bananas in an elimination requiring skill. His elimination win% is better than Bananas. Just lol.

Devin also made a really good point at the reunion. (During the brief seconds he wasn't making an *** out of himself) If you sit around and let Bananas get to a final, then you've already lost. If you aren't trying to get Bananas into an elimination (where he doesn't have near the amount of success), then you are either playing a scared game, have your head up your ***, or you're Leroy. Getting Bananas out before the final pretty much increases everyone else's expected payday, and Devin sees that.
It's very point blank, there is no reason to not actively work towards targeting him early. He's one of the biggest threats in a final. Working with him shows me you do not want to win and you are complacent
Imo this is true for weaker players, but for much stronger players like Zack and CT it is wise to keep him around as a target for a while. Otherwise all the weak player will target and get all the strong players out. Just like in Survivor. The strong players usually keep other strong players in until the merge. Otherwise we will have a final run with nothing but layups. Who wants to see people walking up a hill for three days? I prefer to see the best get to finals. I don't want a three teams of Jemmye and Devin's. Although Jemmye was 100x better on this season. Would you really want to see a fleet of Jay's instead of a Tony, Zack and CT?
There was a discussion about the third place team getting $0 and to me the team that has coasted to the end isn’t always the team that’s last in the final.

I think this is where Zach will really benefit just like he did on Vendettas. People were targetting Bananas and Joss first, and since he's generally well-liked he was able to float by and maintain control without anyone even having his name in their mouth. I bet this is probably his strategy this season again.
As for finals, yeah of course I don't want to see the worst of the worst there, but I'd like to see different people there. It gets old watching the same people run finals. I'd like to see how Joss, Shane, Marie, Natalie, Brad(nowadays), Sylvia, etc do in a final because we haven't seen them. Doesn't mean I'm necessarily rooting for them, but I do think it's better and more exciting than say, the final on Dirty 30 where we know their abilities and they finished exactly where I expected them to.

To be fair Cheyenne made the tweet about priorities so it’s not a stretch to say she was upset about him coming on this challenge.
With Devin, when you’re sitting at home very hating reminds you of what happened so you’re looking for distractions.

Okay like I know vendettas just ended but around what episode of CvS last season did we get a trailer for vendettas?

it was the next week or the week after the very last episode of dirty 30. So like the 4th episode into CvS
