I saw that this am too. I am a fan of CM have been since I started watching the challenge, but Shane is pretty bang on with what he says. She is pretty selective on who she follows and what she sees, I dont think she tells her clan to attack and belittle others ( cast memebers fans etc) But I also dont think she discourages as much as she should.
I have noticed her playing the victim role a lot and frankly it works for her as thats how lot of people see her, ( espcecially when you go back to Rivals etc). At the end of the day the people that "stan" their favs can do no wrong in their eyes. which is also a problem. I dont care if it's CM ,CT, Kailah ,Zach, stans. Everyone is guilty of that. And this board is proof of it. Some are just more vocal about it than others, but the end result is the same. Do I think there is a gang mentality while in the house sure, it's hard not to have that, do I think she was picked on? maybe but guess we will see soon enough.
Personally I think she needs to take the game much less seriously than she does now, and maybe take a season or 2 or 3 off. None of this back to back to back crap.
Yeah I dont think Shane knows what he's talking about as far as the Evelyn thing goes. To say she was "open and welcoming" to her only because she was a threat makes no sense considering they were automatically aligned anyway because both of their partners were a part of the Mob Alliance so becoming friends with her wasnt even needed. "Why not befriend the only girl that can take you out" Also makes no sense. It was a pair season and Rivals Cara couldve lost to quite a few other girls if it was an individual season. Pretty sure Evelyn did an interview where she said her, Cara, Jasmine and Jonna were all super close during filming. I dont see how befriending Jasmine or Jonna 'benefits' Cara. Seems like he's making excuses for his fellow friends which i dont blame him for but at least try to make sense.
We all know the lavendar ladies are mean girls who get easily butt hurt if someone doesn't do as they want and things don't go their way. How many times has Ashley threatened to quit? We all know Cara makes herself an easy target and that a couple of her fans are crazy. I do disagree with the gang mentality which there is NO doubt the lavendar ladies are. I think Cara needs to take a season off and get herself centered again. She is letting this "nobody likes you" thing really get to her and hurt her. That is why she keeps lashing out, and it is stupid to respond. But Shane acting like he knows why she befriended people is stupid. And them saying that "no one likes you" is mean. They are mean girls. She is an easy target (from her own actions and because she keeps winning and getting mtv to put her face out there).
The cast makes it so easy to root for Cara Maria. When all that cheating mess came out, I found myself hoping Marie drags her down this season. But after this non stop barrage of endless tweets from all of these losers, I hope Cara ends the season victorious again.
Shane wrote a whole dissertation at 2 o'clock in the morning about the girl. Enough is enough.
