Right because that's totally going to erase the fear.....that's like getting shot at with a bulletproof vest. You might be safe but that doesn't make it a good idea. 

Stupid or not I have to at least respect Cara for (seemingly) keeping her word. Lots of people would say whatever they had to say to survive the previous elimination with no intention of keeping it by the time the next elimination arrives.
