the challenge is over why does it ******* matter that he's kicking the relic
If any of you people on here actually watched the after show & quit assuming you know everything it would go along way. It was never really about Turbo kicking the relics. Jordan why trying to get Turbo to vote who he wanted in the tribunal because Paulie was trying to just nominate himself in without everyone on the team voting yet. Which everyone knows if Paulie has the power he will probably vote Jordan in. Meanwhile Turbo over there acting like a little kid kicking a relic instead of paying attention to the game.
Why wouldn’t they give them face masks so they could get completely physical? That’s a disaster waiting to happen.
Just learn how to tackle properly, you don't need a face mask.
Tackling properly has nothing to do with it. It’s full combat and someone’s bound to get smacked in the mouth/teeth/nose/eyes.
I'm sure they can't punch or do other stuff to the face.
My point was that accidents happen. Especially with two guys fighting for a million bucks, it’s gonna get rough and all it takes is one wrong move for someone to lose some teeth, break their nose, or fracture an eye socket.
If can see a broken nose but a fracgtured eye socket not really unless they're just swinging their arms towards each others face.
Knees are brutal too. Buddy of mine fractured his eye socket in a softball game when he slid into a guys knee. Freak accidents can happen anytime. Look at Theo
They sure can, but I think if you're slidding to get passed your competitor, you're doing it wrong. But I agree with freak accidents.
Freak accidents happen all the time in sports, especially if your not wearing the right equipment. They probably should have wore football helmets like Zach & CJ in hawl brawl just to be safe

I saw that. But if you want someone to vote with you, you aren't a ******* and step to them and yell at them. Jordan was being a wuss, didn't have the votes, and lost his cool. He thought Turbo would put up with it, and he was wrong.

I don't think Jordan meant to yell at him or lose his cool that's just unfortinately how he talks to people. Tori said it perfectly not everyone is going to react the same way to yelling which is what happened to Turbo. Tori or Nany could have been distracted and he probably would have yelled at them to come vote too.

Yeah, but even helmets don't protect you from going head on to a tackle. Idk, I watch rugby which the only protection is tape for better grip and a mouth gaurd, so the concept of wearing protective gear is different for me. Freak accidents can happen even with protection but the solution is to properly tackle in an elimination like this, which Bear and Joss (who played rugby which is what Bear said in the aftershow) did just find going into contact.
I do see your perspective, and I think protective gear is applicable in alot of other physical elminations, but for hawl brawl i think a mouth gaurd and some long sleeves is suffice since they're running on sand and that shit cuts.

That is such a terrible argument because 1) Turbo is tight with Paulie so he wouldn't have voted how Jordan wanted anyway and 2) yelling at someone isn't going to make them want to vote your way. And if only 6 people were voting, then Jordan should have gotten the other 4 to pay attention or take a side - he didn't even need Turbo if he could get those others to vote already.
It's way more likely Jordan was just still mad about the Challenge and let's that carry over to his interaction with Turbo. Jordan has a short fuse and he can be degrading on the Challenge (even Tori admits he's a different, angrier person there), and Turbo isn't the kind of guy to put up with that shit. Was it a bit of an overraction on Turbo's part to lay hands on Jordan? Probably but Jordan was in the wrong to come up on Turbo so aggressively.

Jordan can not mean to do a lot of things, but he's still in the wrong for being so aggressive. If he yelled at Nany like that, she too would have gotten in Jordan's face - she's always done that, even with friends (see: many interactions with Camila). It's degrading to treat people like they're supposed to heel when you call. That's not even a controversial reaction, I don't think.
Jordan has always been like that on the Challenges and he's learned it's okay for the most part because he never has real reprecusions to his bursts of anger (outside of the Jemmye thing). As Tori even said, that's something Jordan needs to work on, and until then he'll deserve the return aggression and better be careful not to cross the wrong person.
Just watched the episode and I gotta say this. Jordan was wrong to talk to Turbo like that and I don't have a problem with Turbo yoking him up like that. He needs to learn how to talk to people because one of these days he's gonna run into the wrong person and that's gonna be it.
Now with Turbo I think he held on to it longer than he should but he did the same shit with Dee and Ninja last season so that's no surprising.

I agree I think he was wrong for yelling at him like that I'm just saying that I don't think he purposely was trying to start issues with Turbo like some people have said. Jordan was just being Jordan and Turbo reacted the way he reacted. I also think Turbo went too far with it.
No one has mentioned how rude and childish it was for Turbo to kick the relic over a second time after he already did it once and they told him to stop. That's really why Jordan raised his voice at him cause they were trying to get that vote together and Turbo is just not listening or paying attention at all. You run out of patience quickly in that environment.

1. No one gave a **** about it except Jordan.
2. Its not Turbos job to listen to anyone, especially when hes minding his business and not harming anyone.
How is it a terrible argument when Jordan clearly states this on the after show?? Like I said did you even watch it or just once again assume your opinion was correct. Obviously Jordan didn't handle it right by getting in Turbos face, but I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing. Once again why is Turbo over there kicking relics for no reason at all. It's disrespectful.

It's been explained several times that they needed him in the circle to vote for the tribunal and he was ignoring them to do is ninja kicks. Of course the alliance that wanted Paulie to be the speaker didn't have a problem with him delaying things but Jordan wasn't gonna let them get one over on him. Also Zach told him to pick it back up and he didn't, then Jordan put it back and he kicked it off again, which is literally some grade school shit.
Once again Turbo isn’t required to do anything, that includes engaging in a discussion about the tribunal. Just because someone isnt paying you any mind and is minding their business doesn’t mean you can walk up to them with your finger in their face.

Yes, I watched it and Jordan can say that all he wants but that doesn't mean it's a good reason for being a ****. And did you even read my comment? I stated why it was a bad argument because it doesn't make any sense whatsoever: 1) Turbo wasn't going to vote against Paulie who he is friends with and 2) yelling at Turbo def isn't going make him want to vote Jordan's way. I don't doubt that's how Jordan thought about it, but it's still some dumb *** reasoning.
It's not disrespectful wth lol he's not bothering anyone. Turbo's just over there having fun, how is that doing anything to anyone else? And I mean, production likes when Turbo does that shit as they play it up in episodes with effects. Let the man have his fun ffs especially since no one seems to care about him except for his vote.

Turbo wouldn't have voted against Paulie though - they're friends - so that's a moot point. Jordan should have been focused on the 4-5 other players who hadn't voted for whatever reason instead (he said himself only a few people even bothered to vote). Turbo's vote didn't matter unless the rest of those guys had a tie.
Jordan has a short fuse and this is not new information. Did Turbo carry on for too long? Sure but the way Jordan talks to people on the Challenge can be aggressive and demeaning so occasionally others are going to take issue with it. If Jordan hadn't come in so hot, which he admitted on the After Show, it would never have happened in the first place.

You can justify every reason under the sun why Jordan raised his voice but you never walk up to somebody aggressively pointing your finger and not expect to get your head knocked off your shoulders. Jordan's is just the type of person you just have to snap a bone of his and he'll eventually get it. Props to Tori for calling out her man behavior because it was either that or she get dragged.

jordan did the same thing with CT on free agent....when he and bananas were having fun on the bus.
CT shut him very fast.
It seems that Jordan has a problem with people having fun on the challenge...i ve never seen him relaxed on the challege or having fun.

Jordan can be hit or miss for me but out of the Portland cast I wish Johnny or Averey would have been the recurring ones. I loved that season.
